One of the best. Can't put this book down. It's so vivid and mysterious

Disappointed. Shadows of the Wind set the bar for this series and The Angels Game did not meet it. The last third of the book was a stretch to finish for me.

Breathtaking experience. This is my second book in a row by this author. In the past, when I've liked a book so much that I must have another helping, as it were, from the same pen, I've been disappointed by the second book. This is not the case here, this book being even better than his first. I'm so inspired, wanting to do a walking tour of Barcelona to follow the characters through this book - that's how much I loved it!

Captivating. One of the best books I've ever read in my life! Captivating and all encompassing beautiful sorrow!

A Master of Descriptive Language. What I love the most about Zafon, is that he takes you to the places he describes. He leaves you in the story. I often wonder through the plot trying to guess the next twist, but he always turns a different way. This series is great, and one of my favorites!

Love does win. In the end, love emerges victorious. A beautifully written story of a writer who loses his way along the path of life. Never wanted it to end its weaving tale full of twists and turns and love. And God. Love and God.

The Angles Game. A page turner, impossible to put down..... The plot broad and lavish... I love this authors style and the way of words and mystery he draws for the reader.

Writing with Clarity. More ethereal and not quite as compelling as the others in the series but, it does fill a void of information about some of the characters. The writing continues to be incredibly clear and descriptive so that you feel every emotion and physical presence.
