Great book. The book is so much better than movie

Too good to be true. I have the actual book and it's a story too good to be non fiction! Mr. Abagnail's exploits as a young criminal are way better than anything in recent days fiction. It may have been illegal but I applaud Mr. Abagnail for living such an exciting life.

Good read. Pretty good. Somewhat different than the movie.

Unbelievable, but True!. It sounds cliché, but I couldn't put down this book! The writing style was easy to read and kept me shaking my head that this actually happened. Not wanting to root for a con artist I still had to recognize his brilliance and audacity. Amazing that he got away with so much for so long. I can understand why It was made into a movie in 2002. I haven't seen it but want to. If it is as good as the book, then it is a dandy! It stars Leonardo DiCaprio.

Fun!. I enjoyed this book a lot. I had seen the movie and wasn't planning on reading the book, but once I started it I couldn't put it down. The writing style was interesting and engaging, and there are differences from the movie that make it even MORE interesting!

A Fascinating Story. It is hard to believe that the lead character pulled off all these swindles, hoaxes, etc. but it makes for fascinating reading. I saw the movie too so know all about this intriguing con man. Worth a read...EAF

A must read. This is an amazing adventure story, written by a man who started out his adult life doing so much evil to so many people but in the end redeemed himself completely.

Jaw Dropping. Most movies never do books justice and this is at the top of the list. Unbelievable stories that the movie never remotely came close to talking about. Frank was one of a kind!

Interesting But Less Captivating Than the Movie. Interesting how trusting people seemed to be towards Mr. Abagnale. I think this says more about his personality flaws than the gullibility of those who he conned. I would be very interested in a detailed psychological analysis of Mr. Abagnale.

???. I’m not sure how to review this book. It is written in a very entertaining voice but I don’t believe it all. There are reports out there which counter these tales. I just want to know the real deal.
