Shatter Book Reviews
Shatter by Michael Robotham Book Summary
In "the most suspenseful book I read all year" (Stephen King), a psychologist faces off against a killer who destroys his victims from the inside out.
Joe O'Loughlin is in familiar territory standing on a bridge high above a flooded gorge, trying to stop a distraught woman from jumping. "You don't understand," she whispers, and lets go. Joe is haunted by his failure to save the woman, until her teenage daughter finds him and reveals that her mother would never have committed suicide not like that. She was terrified of heights.
What could have driven her to commit such a desperate act? Whose voice? What evil?
Having devoted his career to repairing damaged minds, Joe must now confront an adversary who tears them apart. With pitch-perfect dialogue, believable characters, and astonishingly unpredictable plot twists, Shatter is guaranteed to keep even the most avid thriller readers riveted long into the night.

shatter. An underrated author. I’ve read many of his books...this is a good one and worth buying. Once you discover this writer, you will want to read his others.
Really Amazing. I first downloaded this book because I was on a budget but didn't want a free book because a lot of them are just poorly written. I have to say when I first started this book I wasn't expecting much out of it because of its price, but it grabbed me right away. Michael Robotham is by far my new favorite author. I would recommend reading this book to anyone!
Definitely a page turner!. One of the best psychological thrillers I've ever read. The author is clever and efficient and spins a tale that keeps you up reading way past your bedtime. I can't wait to read another one of his books.
Wow! Really loved this book.. Great story with empathetic characters. Kept me engrossed.
Great read!. Keeps your interest! I love the author's writing style!
Very engaging. I bought this book because it was on the $3.99 page. I got a ton of enjoyment from it. It had good pacing. It was tense, believable, and a great ride. Fun, fun book
Was a great book. This book was fabulous, though not what I was expecting. There was a lot more graphic scenes than I thought there would be and a lot of violence. The author did an incredible job of writing the story and character development was great. I definitely recommend this book, even if it is more shocking than anticipated.
Capturing from start to finish. Gripping. Could not put it down!
