Better than the first. Interesting plot but the ending was disappointing. I couldn't believe I was already on the last page and that was it wth??

Not bad. It wasn't a bad book longer than the first one. It bugged me that "text slang" was used in thoughts. But it is an interesting story. For free, it's worth the read.

This is not a continuation of Donovan and Isabella's story.. This was a dissapointment compared to the first book. I did not read the whole thing because I was expecting a book about Donovan and Isabella like in the first book. Not a book about Mirie and Jack. Do not get this book if you think its a continuation if Donovan and Isabella's story.

Good story!. Well written. Not overly detailed but just enough to keep your interest. Love the quick book read! Really works with my on the go lifestyle! I can read a good story without 200 extra pages of fluff. I'm actually going to complete the trilogy and read the last book :-)

Good short story. For a short story, it was written well. Definitely reading the next book.

Pleasantly surprised. I was pretty surprised by this novella and the first one. The author has created an interesting world with enticing characters. I'm happy to see that the main characters have unique personalities. You come across many authors that write series with the protagonist be essentially the same person, just in a different place and a different name. The novella could probably use a little bit more fine tuning. Onward to the last of this trilogy!

Read the book!!!. This book is part of a TRILOGY. I've read all the books and this is a very important piece in order to understand the third book.

Good story. I really enjoyed this story. It was exciting and fun. I enjoyed the fast pace. As far as the "text slang" mentioned by one of the other raters, I thought it was funny. The main character was raised human, so it made her character more real. Most people I know use that type of slang nowadays, so why shouldn't the character in the book use them. She was only 30 after all.

Better than part I but. It almost seems like the werejaguars and the book of the black moon happened in a different time or dimension (or did it?). On to book III!

2nd book in Black Moon Series. Owe Smashbooks & the author an apology! I thought I paid for these tidbits. Not so, they're free. Like a Chicklet they are a tasty few bites that leave you wanting more......

Awesome trilogy. I really enjoyed these books and the only downside is that they are so short. Anyone you says that they are trash really shouldn't be wining they were free. I thank this author for giving us a good story and quick read for free.

Bad candy for your brain.. "His hair was as straight as night and his eyes were the color of diamonds" ????! Please. This is by no means a well written book. Fun trash read though.
