Great plot. Good characters!. The only drawback for me is the silly adolescent hormones of supposedly mature coworkers. A more mature sexual attraction would be more appropriate and certainly less distracting.

Dix Dodd. This was a great read. Funny and engaging. Kept me guessing right up to the end!

Surprisingly. Good. A little long winded but just when I was getting tired of not knowing who did the crime the author revealed it. And the killer wasn't obvious. I laughed a few times so it was enjoyable. I would continue reading the series if the price is right...

Interesting. Hard to put down this book. Well written with surprises throughout. A little more steam with the love interest would have been nice.

I'm usually not the kind of reader to enjoy humor mixed with a serious subject but this is an exception. Enjoy some hot popcorn, just don't choke when laughing at the dry humor that is laced with the serious scenes. KSW

The case of the flashing fashion queen. Good story, keeps you guessing. Great characters, a real page turner. Only four stars as the book needs proof reading. The author has trouble distinguishing between making a word plural vs. possessive, an annoying trait. Also, the words peel and peal cannot be used interchangeably, as do site and sight, sheer and shear, or peak, peek, and pique.

Laughter's the best medicine. I'm a Norah Roberts fan anyway so of course I had to give this novella a quick read when I saw it was free on iBooks. This is the first book I have read in the Dix Dodd series and now... Well, now, I'm after the others in the series of course... I literally laughed out loud several times while reading this ebook. I absolutely love the characters. Especially Detective Richard "Dick" Head. His name alone caused me to smile. The relationship between Dix and Dylan is great fun. Would not even change a thing about Mrs P's character.

The story was written In easy language that made it a good read before bedtime. I am looking forward to the next Dix Dodd mystery in the series.

Great story but........ This story is funny and interesting. I love a good mystery. But i've noticed quite a few spelling mistakes! Which is why i rated this story only 4 stars. Spell check or proof reading would have been a very good idea. It doesn't matter if a story is free or paid. They shouldn't have silly spelling mistakes. Just something to be aware of and taken care of.
