Plot twist. This book is a real page turner!

Opps... He did it again!. Another great book by HC! I love his "stand-alones" just as much as, if not more than, the MB books.

Quick read. This book is only 500 pages Longmont my iPad. It was pretty good for a quick read. It wasn't exciting enough for me to stay up all night to read it, it also didn't stay in my head like some books do, but it wasn't bad.

Stay Close. Even though I am a complete die hard Coben fan, I really didn't enjoy the book. I found myself skipping pages of mundane descriptions, personal histories of characters, feelings and thoughts of characters, none of which made the story one bit more interesting. Sorry Mr. Coben, but I think you missed the mark on this one. Great story, just poorly written.

Good page turner. I have read all Harlans books and this was good. Lots of twists and I finished it at 3am cuz I couldn't put it down. Thanks Harlan for the sleepless night ! :-)

Stay close. I thoroughly enjoyed the various characters and how the stories wove in and out and around each other. The plot twists and details were intriguing and kept this reader engaged.

Stay Close. I enjoyed this book a lot. I liked the people and loved the pace. I especially liked the back and forth format.

Stay close. One of Coben's best. I always enjoy his novels and this one was great. I didn't figure it out until the end, which always makes for a great read. Well drawn characters, the right amount of suspense and clues, and the wonerful way with words that Mr. Coben has all line up to make this a page turner. Highly recommended.

Poorly written. Poorly written, slow read. Super cheesy phrases and lines. Vocabulary was a bore. Words such as "seedy" and "cesspool" used over four times in the book. I was turning pages just to reach the end.

Stay Close. This was the least interesting Harlan Coben book I have read thus far and I have read nearly every one. I had correctly identified the murderer one-third of the way into the book. Usually there are last minute surprises in his books that keep you guessing-not so in this book. It was a very predictable murder mystery and he recycles some dialogue from some of his other books. I was very disappointed.

Thriller to the very end. Another great book by Cohen!

Excellent!. Love Coben’s books. They’re not the same story over and over. Didn’t see the ending coming. Love that too!

Coben never disappoints. Another of Harlan Coban's hit stories that takes one in and doesn't let go. Always entertaining, interesting and makes you wonder who these characters remind you of, so real are they. I'll get more of Coben's books.

One of his bests!. I admit that I am a Harlan Coben junkie. I have read all of his books. Even when the characters are repeated from other books, they still hold your interest. His stories take twists and turns and keep you guessing throughout the entire book. This one was particularly good and the characters were so interesting and diversified, I highly recommend it. The only thing bad about the end of a Harlan Coben is that you have to wait for the next one to come out.

Quick read. Hard to put down. Excellent character development although it was a little predictable. My first Coben read. Will read more of him.

Stay Close. Wow, this is the first time I have read this author and I am thoroughly impressed! It's been a long time since I have read a thriller that kept me guessing and wanting more to the very last page.

Stay close. How would I know if is any good. I have tried every thing to down load this book and still can,t do it. What can I do now as when I phoned for help they could not help me.

Stay Close - Stay Away. I have read almost every book that Harlan Coben has written. This book was absolutely the worst, least inspired story I have read. I feel like I wasted an entire day on this read. Skip it and hope that his next book is better.

Boring & Disjointed. So poorly written I could not endure finishing this book...hope his others are better.

NOT HIS BEST. I've read all his books, blah, blah, blah but this one was disappointingly sort of dull & boring, despite the subject matter. I still look forward to his next book and he's still one of my very favorite authors. Just hope he doesn't start mailing them in ala james Patterson.

Stay Close. A garbled mess of a story, put together by what seemed to be a series of afterthought's as the author labors his way forward. By the time the end comes,it never really comes to a thoughtful end but puts us through a laborious trail of twists and turns that one really doesn't care about any more. I would really like my money back, but I read it so I guess I bought it. My experience as a judge dealing with crimes is urging me to write after reading this fairy tale.

I'm picky and I thought it was great. I read it quickly and thought the author did a nice job of slowly relaying the story to keep you guessing, but not so slow you get bored. Downloading more novels by this author now!

If you like people tortured. This is totally unlike other Corbin books. Only read it if you get off on Torture.

Stay Close - buy it in the bargain bin. I am a major fan & this was by far his worse book! I've even reread some of his books 2 & 3 times - but this book, I could barely even finish. Very predictable & very hard to get into. Hopefully his next book will be great.

Stay Close. An absolutely ridiculous story that is filled with cliche and cringe worthy dialogue.

Different Isn't Necessarily Better. I've read a lot of Colbain's books and this one surprised me - not in a good way. The plot is complex but is both improbable and unexciting. The characters are pasteboard models of victims suffering from traumas, mental disorders and asocial behaviors. This is capped off with interior dialogue that could have been stolen from one of those "Romance"novels available at your local grocery.

Stay Close is not his best work. I tend to like Coben’s books but he needs to find new story lines. The “ten years ago something happened that’s coming back to haunt someone” is getting dull. This one features his repetitive line: “she saw it now.” EVERY BOOK.

Another good one. Big fan of HC and this is yet another top notch piece of fiction. Worth the money to read it.

Expensive. All these books on I books are way too expensive. They are taking advantage big time!!
