Punctuation.... Would have given higher star but punctuation is important.

The Unwilling Mistress. Loved the book. It was a really fast read, although I am not sure of the title. I found it sometimes hard to follow..not sure if it was the way it had been written. Glad to have read it.

Ghastly writing - don't bother. This author needs to hire an editor & learn grammar/punctuation!! I counted the word "had" twelve times in the opening paragraph of chapter two. Example: “Oh nothing” Sarah HAD grinned as she HAD moved into the living room. As she HAD followed her, Mia HAD spotted two of the largest bouquets of flowers she HAD ever seen.” The run-on sentences ramble and wander like drunk hobo: "However, after having only driven a short distance he could feel his eyes becoming heavy and Drake Trent was not a fool, he knew that he needed coffee and a break, so he had pulled into the car park of a small pretty pub smiling at the old “horse and hound” sign which hung over the unpretentious doorway of the old stone building” <---- *Note: This writing must have menopause because there's hardly a period in sight.

Unwilling Mistress. Good story. Wrong title though..

Great read!. Another great book!

Cute!!!. This was a great afternoon read, fell in love with Drake and Mia!!!

The Unwilling Mistress. Dear author, Would someone PLEASE proofread this story! Not only is it negligent in punctuation, and run on sentences, but numerous times the author mentions the wrong characters name when referring to another character, or the sex of the character is missed identified. (I.e. her, hers, or she when it is most definitely him, his, or he!) Please, when reading a story, continuity and flow are very important to a reader. Knowing when a sentence stops is extremely valuable. And not having to go back and clarify the identity of a character is essential. The plot and story are very good. Characters are strong. But punctuation and clarity are very important. Sorry dear author, getting a story down on "paper" is imperative, but, proof reading your story is very important too. Sincerely, Yvette A reader, and grammar/punctuation fanatic

Not bad... The poor grammar made it hard to read, but if you can get past the first 50 or so pages it gets easier to read and the story isn't bad.

Can't get past the first chapter. The editing is horrible! Every other sentence has the wrong verb. I know that sounds dumb but it became really annoying really quickly.

The unwilling mistress. Very good book....works up good into the story line then in 5 pages it's over. Kinda weird, but I liked it.

Predictable. This was an okay story. Not bad for the money.

Did the editor go on vacation?. Surprisingly I liked this book. The story was cute and not over complicated and the characters were likeable if a little two dimensional. I know my review is scathing but most of the writing disasters just made me laugh. (Lines like: "feelings of love for him making her head spin with that love") But at $1 I probably shouldn't complain. That being said, reading this was a little tedious. This book needs major editing to make it easy to read. The run-on sentences were literally full paragraphs and the phrasing was often confusing. Most of the book was written in past tense which I find extremely annoying. (She had looked, they had eaten, he had said, etc.) Then every few pages it changed to present tense for a sentence or two. Seeing as I laughed more than groaned at this book it was worth the $1 I paid for it and I'll give it 3 stars. Hopefully the authors writing and/or editing improves as her plot and characters were fun.

Difficult Read. The plot was good but difficult to follow at times due to poor quality of writing and editing. This was the second book I have read by this author and was very disappointed in this one.

The Unwilling Mistress. Needs serious editing

The unwilling mistress. Good book- enjoyed reading it but too many grammatical errors.

Weird. Possibly the worst book I've ever read the names rhymed and the storyline was weird! A very strange book!!

Good storyline but so poorly written!!!!. It's too rushed! Not in a good reading format, and so many mistakes makes it seem like nobody bothered to proof read it.

Enjoyed it very much. Enjoyed reading this lovely book, happy ending but a bit rushed in parts

Good story. Nice easy read.

Fab. Can't get enough of these books!!

The unwilling mistress. Good reading

Good plot. Poor editing.. I enjoyed the plot although it was a bit rushed. However, this book cries out for a good editor. The same applies to other books by this author. There were numerous grammatical errors, the word "had" was used excessively, tenses were wrong and spelling errors littered the pages. Having said that, I would read other books by this author.

One of the worst things I have ever read. Agree with ChrisMouse99 - spelling and grammar appalling. Glad I didn't waste money buying it! Wish there were a "no star" option!!

Average - stop saying "had"!!!!. Sorry passable but writing style annoying.

Best plots ever read. This book has one of the best plots I ever read. I read other reviews and I can't remember having any problems with the 'had's. It was perfectly illustrated and definitely worth buying. Keep up the good work

Annoying!. The amount of spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and the overuse of 'had' made this book painful to read.

Thank you. This book was the best and most interesting book I have ever read. And only being 13 this book has encouraged me to write my own book, my mother said that I have a gift, well everyone who has read it has said the exact same thing. So I would really like to thank you!!

Love the book but... Great book but it has to many 'had' in the story. Got a lil annoying to read

Setting England, writing American. Setting is England but writing is very American. It is very obvious that the writer is not from England. Nice story line but I thought the appropriate setting would be in US.

The Unwilling Mistress. The story was okay but it was painful to read with SO many SPELLING mistakes!!! Too many people don't know when to use "you're" as opposed to "your". I do like the proper spelling of words such as "colour" though.

This Was A Great Read. I really got into the characters - they were very believable and you really cared for them all. Especially considering the price of the book, I would whole-heartedly recommend it to anybody who enjoys this genre.

Painful to read. This author can barely speak English. Avoid this book.

The unwilling mistress. Kept me wanting to turn the page. Read the whole thing in one evening. Good book!

The Unwilling Mistress. Great book! Enjoyed reading it and can't wait to read more of her books. Wonderfully written and fun to read.
