Something about this book simply grabbed my attention, and after finishing it, I still think about this amazing story and how it made me realize the power, freedom, and peace that forgiveness can bring you. I can't even imagine what it was like to go thru a situation like this. Thank you for sharing your story.

Great testimony of faith. Many people say they are chosen by the Lord to do his will but few understand the meaning and the effort and the life sacrifices fulfilling Gods will may present. After reading this book, I was overjoyed at the ministry through this family and I am blessed to have turned the remote to Dr. Phil twice with six months to only glimpse the same portion of the show...the message of forgiveness is remarkable.

The devil roaring amidst our lives. If you're struggling with forgiveness, of any sort, this is the book for you...I thought I was just buying a good book but now I know the Holy Spirit was once again leading me to something I needed to face and deal with in my own life. Unforgiveness steals away the beauty and peace in your life. When we first lost our 20 year old son, our only child, in 2003, I hoped that the man responsible for his death thought of what he had done every time my husband and I thought of our son. I hoped it drove him insane. Through the past years of healing and letting God do what He does best, healing the brokenhearted, we have come to the point where we hope one day that man will enter Heaven, walk up to our son, and say, "because of what happened that day, I am here today". It wasn't forgiving him that I needed help with but forgiving other people, who along the way, have wounded me deeply in some way. It's an ongoing battle but one I'm determined to win. I want to be able to look Jesus in the eyes and say "I forgave, just as you commanded". The tears I shed reading this story brought release. May God bless the author and her family for sharing their story! And I'll see you all in Heaven one day for the most awesome reunion ever! 10 stars!

TheDevil in Pew # 7. A book that delves into the depths of the deep meaning of forgiveness! So much is asked of the innocent people who are wronged and yet when God enables that forgiveness, because of a willing heart, the rewards are eternal and far reaching. Only eternity will reveal the extent of the blessings because of this family’s experiences. May it’s influence reach all who need this lesson in forgiveness. Continued blessing on all of you.

Done devil in pew 7. Great book, it scares me to think that the abuse the family took for years was not dealt with until one parent is killed and the other leads a life of pure torment in his mind. It is only by god's grace that the two children grew we without any physical or mental handicaps.

Impactful!. It's is more than just a devastating story. Is is a story of redemption. Mr. and Mrs. Nichols were true examples of want it means to take up your cross daily and follow Him. To live your life in such a way that others come to Christ as result of the Gospel and the life you live that shows the Gospel is true. That God's Holy Spirit is alive and dwelling in the hearts of believers. We are called to live a life worthy of the calling of Christ. The Nichols lived a worthy life. They not only impacted their community, but those that Satan wanted to use to destroy them, and mostly their own children whom they had such a short time with. Their children choose to pick up the cross of Christ and live the "language of forgiveness" as they walked in the footsteps of their parents who were walking in the footsteps of Jesus! This story just overwhelms and amazes me with God!

“Forgiveness is what we need most”. The only reason I gave this book 5 stars is because I couldn’t give it 10 or more. I wish everyone could have this book cross their paths so they would read it. The world would be a better place.
