Lies.. The most stupid book I ever read. It's full of lies. Imam Mehdi ll not be a Shia Imam. He ll not say that he is a prophet. He ll not say that he is "maseeh" or Jesus. He ll be a pious Muslim man from the lineage and blood of Prophet Muhammad, he ll lead Muslims in very difficult time, the war ll thrust by "anti Christ" against muslim, he ll fight just against anti Christ, he ll pray that may The Lord send Jesus who can and ll win the war against anti Christ. I wonder and want to ask from all the people's who claim that they love Jesus, you all befriends with the people who ll be with anti Christ. The things which are stated in this book that Imam Mehdi ll do such horrible things, anti Christ ll do all these. Jesus ll come and ll defeat anti Christ, Imam Mehdi ll be with Jesus. I don't know how you live and justify your own selves with so many lies. This book changed the whole truth, everything that is told in this book about Imam Mehdi he ll be opposite of all this. In the start he even won't accept the leadership, Muslim scholars ll insist to him to do so. Imam Mehdi ll fill the earth with justice and peace. All the people who claim that they love Jesus listen carefully, The Lord ll ask from Jesus on the day of judgment that Qur'an 5:116-120 Surah Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread) And behold! Allah will say "O Jesus the son of Mary! didst thou say unto men 'worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah"? He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing Thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart though I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden. "Never said I to them anything except what Thou didst command me to say to wit 'Worship Allah my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up thou wast the Watcher over them and Thou art a Witness to all things. "If Thou dost punish them they are Thy servants: if Thou dost forgive them Thou art the Exalted the Wise. Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens with rivers flowing beneath their eternal home: Allah well-pleased with them and they with Allah: that is the great Salvation (the fulfillment of all desires). To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein and it is He who hath power over all things.

Good plot - surprise religious message.. A well researched and engaging story line. I just feel that the book would have been more focused without the diversions into Christian conversion.

The Coming Times. The 2nd book is awesome, the mental visual the book gives and the current times seems to fall hand and hand. Seeing how Joel used evangelism in his books is great for out reaching the lost and the compassion and love Jesus Christ continues to show no matter who you are or what you have done in the past even though this is fictional writing, I pray those that read his books will see God wants us to reach all his children that are lost and don't know him thanks again for an excellent book. God Bless & Seek the lost, show love just as Jesus shows those who know Him

Great Book!!!. Wow, this book was excellent. It probably should change categories from fiction to non-fiction, because the headlines are paralleling this book every day. Only the names are different! I can't wait for the next one!

Excellent. The book was excellent!! Kept me up late many nights wanting to read more!! I loved reading it also knowing Joel's personal story and extensive contact with the people of the epicenter! I know some real characters were blended into this fictional account! So pap ... Maybe you should do a little more research into the epicenter and find out if Joel is right (which he is!).

Very Interesting. I am not so cultured as to know if Islamics are converting to Christianity, however what a premise. A well written book with many multi-layered plots weaving into one fantastic story. I look forward to reading the next installment in this series!

Riveting. This book is a tell take of how everything is going on in the middle east. Unbelievable how accurate I believe these events written will unfold and ARE unfolding as we speak. The President should read these books, and have a better understanding of what his happening in today's ideological radical world.

Same old format. Shoot a leaking car. No fire. Too many fanciful, garbage woman authors.

Riveting. As far as I'm concerned if you could write about what literally is unraveling in this world as we speak and slap a title on it, it would be called The Twelfth Imam and The Tehran Initiative. Amazing to the point of being scary, the parallels. I have been telling everyone I know to read these books not only for entertainment but also for educational purposes!

The Tehran Initiative. As usual, Joel Rosenberg is on the edge of unfolding history with his fictional books. He is an amazing writer, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat. At the same time, the story seems to playing out in reality on the 24/7 news channels! Highly recommend this series as well I the previous series to anyone looking for a good action thriller seeped in Biblical prophesy!

The Tehran Initiative. As always the books in any of the series are riveting! These books are like a magnet, once the stories are begun, they are impossible to put down, and after they are done we wait for the next installment patiently. The fact that there are many references to the Bible is the icing on the cake, the scenarios are spot on for things that can very well happen, and should be a wake up call to all followers of Christ! Joel Rosenberg continues to be one of the best authors out there with this new book...it's my first e-book on my new iPad and I loved it...what he writes reflects the times we are living in...I can't wait until his next book in this series comes out...do yourself a favor and read this as well as his other works...great characters, historical setting, moving storyline based on Biblical prophecy...I don't understand why these aren't Hollywood blockbusters a la the Bourne series...we don't need any more crappy remakes of old films, we need these books made into films....Joel, keep up the great work!

The Tehran Initiative. This may be a fiction novel, but you cannot help but see the events of today unfolding in this book. It kept me totally involved to the extent I felt like I was right there in each situation. Praise God that the last chapter in life as we know it has yet to be written. The 12th Imam. It was not a bad book but the ending is terrible. To me it seems like a good way for an author to get away from doing one of the most important and memorable things when writing a book-making an ending to remember-one that makes you go out and buy the next book. This books ending was a good way for the author to show that he had nothing left for the ending. Actually, embarrassing.
