The Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas Reviews
By Scion of a decent house
I've read my share of 19th century novels, and this one ranks up near the top. One of the best European novels I've ever read. Every Character in this book has a long backstory, and by the end, I feel that one could write a biography on every major character.
Better than the movie!!!!!!!
A must read for anyone and everyone. Absolutely amazing piece of literature. Dumas will make you feel happiness, misery, anger, surprise so many times that you will laugh out loud, cry, curse, gasp and truly enjoy this wonderful story of Edmond Dantes.
I am unsure if I like this book or not, lol. It was a very difficult read, but at the same time a very good book.

The Count of Monte Cristo
I rate this book as one of the absolutely best books I have ever read. Fantastic!!!! But beware, it will consume you to the point of doing nothing else until it is finished.
Best book ever written!
Long and Wonderful
This book (unabridged) is long and wonderful. It gains momentum over the course of reading, and is very satisfying. I have read the whole enormous thing twice now. Suspend your disbelief, enter the world described, and enjoy the ride!
It is a classic....
But not necessarily a great classic. I see it more as a 200 year old Nora Roberts novel...
This is a fantastic book, as well as -for good reason- a
Classic. Besides, if you're on the fence, you can't beat the price!
It a excellent book a must read next to fifty shades of grey
