Very well done. Wow. I downloaded it on a whim after hearing about it on the good ship SG FLIX. Admittedly I wasn't expecting much but I will say I was pleasantly suprised. The characters where very relatable and I was hooked from page one. I read it all in one sitting. Again I say well done jitterbug, I'm off to download the second.- reikozu

Deadlocked. I found this book to be very interesting and well written. By allowing each person to continue their part of the apocalypse in this series is a good idea.

Deadlocked. It has been asserted elsewhere that the zombie genre is "tired". I disagree. If viewed as metaphor describing aspects of modern life, the genre becomes quite relevant. Thoughtless, reactive, appetite driven, monsters roam the Earth, consuming everything with their infectious hunger. Murica....cuz....freedom. Or brains, or what have you. Shambling corpses act out a hideous parody of life. I enjoyed the book. The protagonist was ordinary with believable courage, weaknesses, and adaptability. At times horrified and determined and ultimately noble. The world building was pretty good, but I would have liked a slightly more complete picture- to sink more deeply into the dream. All in all, I enjoyed it. Thanks.

Amaziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!!. I started reading this novella at 11pm today and I just finished. At first I wasn't interested but my mom kept bugging me. Now that I am done I just want to keep reading. I love it! I love the way the author writes, it kind of reminds me of SK, but not a cheap version. An equally talented one! I loveeeeeeeee Deadlocked and first thing tomorrow my mom is buying the rest!! Yeah!!

Love these books!. I'm on book #5 of this series and I love them. Fast paced, suspenseful, and hard to put down. Hope this series continues past #7! Well worth the money!

Finally! Reality and zombies. First off, this is a great story. Second, this is a great zombie story. The main character is very real in his reactions and this is a rare thing in zombie fiction. This story grabbed a hold of me and didn't let go. Can't wait for more!

Good book. I think this series has a real potential to build on itself. I wasn't super crazy about the ending, but I suppose it was realistic! Please understand I like movies like die hard, very over the top, but this was still a very good book! Keep writing! Oh, and the bus scene was written very well! I don't think many people would enjoy reading that in any more detail then you used. Well done!

Amazing. I tried to get into zombie books but most out there were no good until I came across this book. I have to admit that this book has every element of perfection not only as a zombie book but as a story. It grips you from beginning to end and the journey there is exciting, suspenseful and I think you will love it as much as I do

Deadlocked. This was a great start to this series. I totally enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading the following books.

Not the usual boring brain-eater. As with most of the young male demographic right now, I am obsessed with zombies. With that being said I am also very sick of them. This novella is a refreshing read after being bombarded with sub-par story telling and overused themes. Wises attention to detail is fantastic. It takes a lot to make me uneasy when I am reading and he did it more than once in this story. A suspenseful and gripping look at how an average man's day turns into an undead nightmare! I can't wait to read what happens in the next installment.

Deadlocked. This was a grate book I love it I can't believe he died at the end but it was worth it to the man and I appreciate that he died for his family I love this book I can't wait to read pt 2

Great Zombie Series! Just read it!. So enjoyed this series, couldn't put it down. It made me laugh, cry and terrified me. Really well written and very entertaining! Congrats to A R Wise- it's great and I know I'll be reading it all again soon.

Yes. I can't believe that this book is free. Get it. This is not like any other zombie book that i have read. I absolutely loved the ending. any fan will too. Its only a little book, but be warned. You'll get hooked on them all. I was lucky enough to pick up book 1 as book 7 was being released. That was a week ago, now I'm about to start 5. I read the comments a lot before i get a book from here and if you are too and don't know if you should bother with this one of not, stop it. Download this book. You'll love it.

Scary!. Loved this book. Read it in like 30 min. Very scary and real. Also even though Dave dies, I still really like it, makes it kinda more interesting to read. Would totally suggest it to anyone who likes any kind of zombie stories.

Freakimg brilliant. Bro I don't know how you writers do it but your books are just fantastic. I loved the change of the main character dying. It really made me think. Instead of the usual main character survives everything

Great first part. I definitely enjoyment first story of the Deadlocked series can't wait to get into the rest of it. Very good writing, and a nice take on the zombie apocalypse.
