Classic..... This book is a classic. It is well written and one of my favorites despite the seasonal aspects. I read it every year in the month of December. This is a great iBooks version. It is exactly like my paperback version.

A Christmas Carol Is One Of My Favorites. A Christmas Carol is one of my favorites. Charles Dickens wrote a very good book. Even though it was a short book, I enjoyed reading it. It’s a good book to read around the holiday season, especially around Christmas. If you’re into reading books about Christmas, I would recommend reading A Christmas Carol.

Amazing book. Reading the book is so much better than watching the movie. Charles dickens is an amazing writer and this book is great reminder that you should always have the past, present and future within you.

First Dickens work. This is the first work by Charles Dickens that I have voluntarily read all the way through. Everyone knows this story, but as with all literary works, the book outshines any other medium. True lovers of the story will be the most delighted in this telling.

A Christmas carol. Totally cool

Great for children and adults!. I read this book every December with my little sister over Skype. It's perfect to read with her because while she is reading it simply to learn the story, she also learns about the importance of Christmas spirit. Meanwhile, I get to appreciate aspects of the story that she might not understand. Overall, the story is a great reminder of the wonderful nature of humans to overcome their selfish tendencies when they come up against selfless generosity and kindness.

A Favourite Read. I must have read this book many times over the years, usually just before Christmas, but it is always a joy to do so. This digital edition is in my opinion one of the best. I particularly like the original (?) illustrations which set just the right mood.

Because free doesn't mean cheap.... Thank you to the Top Five team for providing free ebooks that I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen with. Properly designed, the text is seemingly not just cut and pasted, but set and designed to look as beautiful as the real thing. Add the inclusion of original illustrations where appropriate and covers that look they are not an afterthought (or done by a 12 year old on MS Paint). The Sherlock Holmes are just as worthy. Get 'em all. I have.

A Christmas Carol. Wow! What an amazing book to get for free! I had never read such a book! It is very different I will say that and very long so for those who don't like a long similar book this wouldn't suit you! If your like me and you like a slight mystery to a book then read 'A Christmas Carol!' It was perfect for me! Young children may need parents help on some language (as in old fashioned language there is no swearing!) All in all a fantastic book for those who like a slight mystery! 5/5

Actually quite good! . Had to read this for English and it was surprisingly really good! The old style words are a doddle, and it is quite easy to work out what they mean!  P.S. I'm in year 7 so...

A true classic. This should be on everyone's Christmas reading list every year. Amazing use of language, funny, moving and truly inspirational.

BORING !!. I skipped to the end !!

The real spirit of Christmas. In a time where Christmas is little more than a commercial extravaganza, where we spend money like its going out of fashion, and we pile present after present on our children and loved ones in an effort to show our feelings, this book lets us look back to when Christmas was a time for joy, friendship, jollity and sharing. We all know the story of Ebenezer Scrooge but re-reading the book has another effect as well as entertainment. It makes us question how we "keep" Christmas and shows us how we ought to keep it.

An amazing classic. One of the best books by Dickens I have ever read. Combines nice language and is witty, funny and generally very interesting. Definitely in my top ten.

Bah humbug. Well I have never read a classic novel but thanks to free downloads and it being almost Christmas I thought I'd read this. Only took me a day and I really enjoyed it. Going to download and read some more classic novels now :)

A Christmas Carol. I'm reading this 2 days before Christmas Eve , and I've read it since I was a small boy , must still rate as one of the all-time great ghost story's . It's true testament of dickens that the tale is frightening and relevant still today, well over a hundred years after his death !

A christmas carol. Well it was an ok book it could do with some more modern words but other than that it was good charles dickens sounds like a very detailed writer and comes up with very inspirational stories.
