Must Read. I too also went through the type of spiritual attack that the author experienced. He explains that in a spiritual attack on the mind the enemy not only plants a thought (or said through others) ,but he also add a "feeling" to back up the thought. In other words, you not only are thinking a lie but feeling it also, which is very deceitful and believable. This is why every thought must be subjected to the test of God,s word and if it exalts itself against what Christ says about you we must cast it down as a lie. Otherwise, it will become a curse to us. Remember, when Shimei railed accusations against King David the Bible called those accusations a "curse". Accusations, negative thoughts and feelings become a curse when we believe the lie. These are some of the things this book deals with. This is a must read for those who need help unraveling and exposing the weapons of our enemy. My attack was condemnation and not only was it loads of condemning thoughts, but a very strong heavy feeling as well. I was delivered from this condemning spirit and it felt like I was saved all over again. However, the very next day I felt this heaviness on me that wasn't as strong as the literal spirit. After a year of carrying this I found out what the issue was. I was delivered from the spirit, but needed to deal with the lies that he had planted while assaulting my mind.

Insightful. Probably the clearest teaching on dealing with demonic oppression that I've ever read. Also has some amazingly understandable definitions of generational curses, strongholds, et cetera. I highly recommend this book! Good, trustworthy, historically classical theology, and a real, passionate love for God.

Changed My Perspective. This is truly helpful especially during these times of the coronavirus when you’re just staying at home and the devil tends to keep on throwing arrows at you when you’re not doing anything. However, this book emphasized to me that the enemy can’t kill me, he could only say things to me, that I have the authority through the Holy Spirit and he doesn’t. I am still dealing with food disorder until now, but this book is helping me a lot. I will surely read it again and take notes this time. I used to struggle as well with depression and anxiety and knowing how Kris overcame it reminded me of how God just uses all of what we are going through for our good and for God’s glory. And mostly, that I am reminded that God’s love can’t just really be defeated. ❤️

Must read book!. Love this book!!!! So eye opening

Life Changing. It's amazing to me that a complete stranger can write about what seems to be my exact same experiences. I bought this book yesterday out of desperation. I have struggled with an eating disorder for over 9 years. Last year I thought I had beaten it, but when I became a student at a ministry school, the battle came back almost worse than every before. Just a few weeks ago I shared with a leader that I felt I was literally going crazy. I have never been suicidal, but I recently became plagued with suicidal thoughts and the overall feeling of hopelessness. When I read the chapter about Kris ministering to a lady who was having suicidal thoughts, I realized that I too had recently begun saying I would feel so much relief if the Lord just took me.I read aloud the prayer that he walked the lady through and I instantly felt lighter! Needless to say, this book has literally already begun to change my life and give me hope. Thank you, Kris, for being so vulnerable and honest about your struggles. I am so relieved to know that I am not alone and that there is a Jeremiah 29:11 promise over my life. I HIGHLY recommend that EVERYONE read this.

Absolutely fantastic!!!. A MUST read for every Christian. Well written and based on personal experience - I can associate with almost everything in the book. It also gives insights on how to apply spiritual truths to our lives to overcome any and every situation we face. Really an awesome book!

Eye opener. If you don't think you need to read this book than you really ought to. I have learned so much from him and the way he describes himself by using analogies. He is easy to follow. He also explains common verses in a way I have never considered before.

Good, but not quite what I was looking for. The book offers some decent guidance for dealing with spiritual warfare, but most of it is pretty basic. So the main thing that I enjoyed/took away from the book was the testimonies and stories.

Your break throughs have inspired us to do the impossible by remember who we are & who's we are. Spirit Wars rocks. I've read this book close to two times. Freedom Manuel. This is one of the best books I have read on spiritual warfare and freedom. Their are tons of examples and practical application. This is a easy read and very comprehensive. Nevertheless this is a life changing book if you grab hold of the message. Shuana Searcy

Life changing!. I could not recommend this book by Kris Vallatton highly enough! Every Christian should read it at least once in their lifetime. It explains the spiritual aspect of mental health and a lot of those unusual and often unexplainable thoughts that go on inside each of us better than any other book I’ve read on the subject. It’s full of true stories, testimonies and it’s extremely easy to read. I reckon I polished it off in about 5hrs over 3 nights, it’s that beneficial!
