Great Escape. If you like SEP books you won't be disappointed in her new book. I love Lucy in the First Lady and SEP did not disappoint in this character as she grew into an adult! I suggest to any new reader to read the other books in this series first, starting with First Lady - my personal all time favorite!!!!

Darling. Just a darling story that is easy and fun. Would be a great beach read....

Not the Best Susan Elizabeth Phillips Book. This book is well written and is a page turner, but what happened to Susan Elizabeth Phillips' sex scenes in this romance novel? I missed it completely and I am very disappointed!

Loved It. Loved this book as much as I've loved all of the other Phillips books. Very real and completely believable. She's very good at what she does which as a writer makes her fanfrickingtastic.

Fabulous read. I loved this book and couldn't put it down. I was sorry when I had finished reading it! This was my first 'read' by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and will definitely be buying more of her books.

Ehh okay.... I usually love Susan Elizabeth Phillips books. I even brought her other books and for the first time I'm glad i didn't buy this book. It was okay but not her best. I couldn't fall in love with characters like I usually do.

Worth the wait. I've been waiting what seems like an eternity to read Lucy's story. It was completely worth the wait! Watching Lucy and Panda and all the secondary characters grow, their stories were all so well written. I was attached from page 1 and couldn't put the book down until it was over. Tears and laughter, you can't ask for more from a good book.

Disappointing. Not much to say except that this book is not up to par. It's a pleasant romance with a few interesting characters, but the main two,,,,Lucy and Patrick are weak...at least by this author's usual high standards. The novel did not have the rich character and plot development Ive come to expect from this author. Deli-kins

Great fun. Loved every page!

The great escape. This is my first time reading this author and I really disliked this book. Lucy was such a hypocritical witch and he was stupid for even wanting her. She did a lot of lecturing about him being a coward, running away, and not consulting her. She was the one who ran out on her wedding and stayed away from her family. Though it took me awhile, I finally made it to the end and wished I had never made myself finish this book. A complete waste!

Well…... It could have been worse, I suppose. The characters (Lucy/Patrick) were not likable. They weren’t hatable, either. They were just blah. The stupid nickname of “Panda” was just that. Stupid! No explanation for it. The two side stories were distracting. (Mike/Bree, Temple/Max, Toby & Kristi) Not one of the eight main characters was engaging. Toby could have been, but he wasn’t allowed to be. This was a long, drawn-out completely blah story. It could have been great, but it just wasn’t. No where in any of the author’s incessant ramblings did she give any reason for any of them to like, much less, love each other. There wasn’t any character development or true growth. I gave it two stars but it really doesn’t even deserve that.
