Man of the Forest. Very good!

Wonderful story!. This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I wish I had known Zane Grey. What a great mind and soul! His books take one to a better world.

Great book!. The story was great, though lacking a little bit in the main characters romance lol at the end of the book I knew more about Bo's relationships than Nell's. But other than that it was a wonderfully descriptive story. The way Zane describes the mountainsides was amazing.

A Truly Engaging Novel. This novel is a well crafted story, truly a page turner. As I write this I am missing the characters as if I've known them. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I will be trying to choose another western written by Zane Grey. A story of transformation. Beautiful descriptive prose. What a great find! Highly recommended.

Enchantment. Great read. The descriptions of the land and forests are so well written you can see them with your mind’s eye.

The. man of the Forrest. A wonderful Story of the then Wild West. It was very hard put to put the book down. Very enjoyable.

The Man of the Forest. The story transported me out of 21st century suburbia into the Wild West. It richly described the life of a woodsman and the life of a city girl who is transitioning into a life in this untamed place and the meeting of the two. So, it's a love story as well. The landscapes are beautifully laid out. While the love story is predictable the back plot has many twists and turns, all the while stirring the imagination into a believable idea of life and landscape in that time in history. I love this kind of story which not only makes a romantic connection between a couple but makes a romantic connection to the country and period where it is placed.

Notwithstanding. Uncomfortable read with its racism and sexism but has enough insights to offset them. Just have to disregard the twigs and burrs for the seeds and nuts.
