The Canterville Ghost. Charming little story, wittily written, for all ages.

Goes well with a glass of Nadia Cabernet. Beware the illustrations and their captions! At times they appeared before their respective parts in the story and gave it away when read on my iPhone 8. Otherwise it is a nice story told with interesting perspective read in less than an evening’s time.

Loved it. Absolutely hilarious. It's a ghost story that not only makes fun of itself but we Americans as well--and it's not at all scary. VERY fun to read.

Outstanding.. What a whimsical, humorous, profound, romantic, and enchanting story. My first read of a Wilde composition, and I'm definitely going to be reading more of his literature.

The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde.. Very enjoyable Classic short story. Made want to watch the 1944 film, starring amongst others, Charles Laughton, again & will also try and watch for the 1st time, the 1996 remake, with Patrick Stewart, that appears to follow the book, more than the original film.

Very comedic novella by Oscar Wilde. I really enjoyed this novella; it was very amusing and frequently made me chuckle. Definitely recommend this book to anyone who wishes to enjoy a short, humorous novella!

Wonderful. What a story from a master story teller. I am not much at writing a review but know I enjoyed this story immensely.

Classical elegance in the tradition of horror comedy. This is a light but satisfying read. It flows and draws in the reader immediately with rich descriptions and takes us into a bygone era. The family dynamic still recognizable with naughty young boys filled with spirit and a dose of mischief. The ghost and it’s humanity illuminated through the gentle innocence of the ministers daughter wrought a tale that is both funny and touching. Canterville ghost. Good read vastly different from the movie version. Virginia is a much stronger person in this tale.
