2BR02B. Vonnegut is my favorite author, but this tale is a little thin. It does remind me, however, of his amazing short story, “Welcome to the Monkey House.”

Hopefully Non-Fiction. A fantastic short read. Perfect first taste of Vonnegut for the fresh reader. If you like this, you will adore all of Vonnegut's other works.

2BR02B. Nice short story, by a great author.

A nice Vonnegut Intro. My wife has been begging me to read some of Vonnegut's work, this was an interesting short story. Going to have to read again and dwell on it awhile, oh, what it means to be human.

The ending was ok, but the rest was great.. I fully expected a twist ending, and didn't get one. It's a great story, but I'm not a huge fan of the ending. I think short stories really should have endings that twist at the end....gliding you along for the right and making you feel like...whoops! You didn't see that coming! Anyway...4/5 for me.

Shakespeare would be proud. Very good short story!

2BR02B. Very good short story from Vonnegut. He is one of my favorite authors and thus a good read was expected. A must read for real fans of Vonnegut.

I like it. As grim as this tale is, I find comfort in the fact that although extreme, there's a solution for us in case the world 'doesn't' end.

Outstanding. One of my favorite short stories of all time. It never gets old and I enjoy it every time I read it.

Typical Vonnegut. A great, short Sci-fi story - typical, great Vonnegut. One of my favorite authors.

Superb. The sardonic old man does it again. An expertly crafted sci-fi that questions the moralities of life and death. I recommend this quick read to anyone!

Not Perfect,,,. It’s by no means a perfect story, and given the option I would have rated it a 4.5. However I did very much enjoy it. Though predictable I give that to it’s age, and my biggest complaint is how overly explained 2BR02B is as if the reader is stupid. It’s short and simple, it conveys its message clearly and it kept my attention.

Short, Grim and candid. Fun little read on how future societies could be.

Short but Sharp. This short story is only 15 pages long so I won't go into detail, but this was the most entertaining 15 pages I've read in a while!

2 B R 0 2 B. Kurt Vonnegut never seems to disappoint.

2BR02B. This is one of the most depressing views of the future that I have ever read! What makes it so depressing is that it seems to be informed by Mr. v’s possible WW II knowledge of the death camps and the earlier eugenics views that many held throughout that time.

Sad. This book is a great read about life. But it was so sad!

Quick, thought-provoking read. Vonnegut presents a future dystopia in which rapid population growth has been controlled. However this facade of ideality comes at a cost to the everyday person. This short story discusses the decision one must make between the individual and the collective, providing insights on the value of a human life.

2BR02B. What an interesting read. The writing style is quite blunt, but enjoyable. Paints an image well. It's only ten pages, take ten minutes out of your day and read this if it even just barely piques your interest.

Woah. I didn’t know what to expect going in. A very curious and dark thought experiment. It changed so suddenly towards the end there. I’d imagine the writing would be much more fluid in its native language

Disturbing. If you're looking for something to read over lunch or your morning commute this is a great choice. Entertaining and disturbing - it's quintessential Vonnegut.

Save the Planet. The to natural progression of anti-human environmentalism. While a human is ‘just another animal’ his actions are destroying the earth; poppycock !!The height of hubris!

Master of the short story. How many worlds reside in the vast mind of one Kurt Vonnegut Jr? Truly engrossing in less than 20 pages.

2BO02B, that is the question, isn’t it?. Interesting story, as are all of Vonnegut’s. Has a good point. I recommend everyone reads at least Welcome to the Monkey House, then you’ll be hooked on Vonnegut and learn a very different perspective on, well, everything!

2BRO2B. I love a story that makes you think this one does.

Grissly irony. It’s vintage for the time it was written, and thankfully, short. But Ive read much better Vonnegut.

Clever as Always. I had downloaded this book in the free section of the Books app. I think it’s a delight to have access to these books and many more on the App. Along with this book I downloaded Swift’s, “A Modest Proposal”. In hopes to compare the two with regard to their “Ideas” of population control. A funny albeit grim read it definitely feels right at home in the dystopia that’s has become the year 2020. It gave my a chuckle or two, and in such a short time to be able to full flesh out these characters is a feat in and of itself. Love Vonnegut Jr. and I always will. Keep reading, A.

Do you know what a drupelet is?. A great snapshot of Vonnegut, and another fantastic usage of drupelet. Also, a speedy read.

Pretty dark. A suitably quick ending to such a short story. I’d say it’s a good read with some good insight on human nature.
