Great story!. A classic from a master of science fiction. A delight to re-read a story of my youth.

Cool twist!. Short story but cool ending.

Isaac Asminov Youth. Quick and easy read. A little too transparent but fun nonetheless.

Picture spoiled it. This version totally ruined the story’s surprise with an illustration a few pages into the story. I was really bummed!

Asimov YOUTH. It is odd. Asimov was a hero of mine during the 1960s, but now his language seems forced to me, and the story in YOUTH seems like a tale too obvious and simple to be important.

Brief, but overall fun read.. A classic science fiction tale with a fun twist. A short read, but worth it if your fan of Asimov’s work.

Predictable but breezy. Worth the read, though you’ll guess the ending by end of page 1.

Not the greatest. A bit boring

Suspense and vicariousness: i couldn't stop reading. Asimov's clear writing style made me feel as though I were in the grass with Red and Slim as they discovered the "animals". The last two pages revealed the final phase of a well-crafted trick on the reader's perception of the characters that prompts the reader to realize that we must not assume we know it all when it comes to encountering something new, someone new, or, especially, an Asimov story.

Youth. Enjoyable - entertaining - easy read - classic Asimov!

Youth. Great story but who added the illustrations at the beginning? I doubt Mr. Asimov would have liked them. Ruined the ending. You already know who's who by the second chapter.

Youth. An early 1950s work that though well written shows its age as science fiction, but is actually good as a study in human / alien interaction.

Classic. Such a fun tale from a science fiction genius.

Interesting use of perspective.. I enjoyed the storytelling which came from multiple points of view, which unveiled details and developed the story in an interesting way.
