Some things never change!. What a wonderful book, an eye opening read and inspirational *depending on viewpoint* (it makes you question.. Do you want to be the change you want to see?). You also can depict the same teachings going on today regardless if you were standing with James River or never read this book. It is a shame but truthful! Thank God for Jesus, he has allowed us and given us a way out of this standstill. Hopefully others will get a chance to read this book and make a positive change in their lives or someone else's!

I'm not sure if this is a full speech/essay/book. The book ends abruptly and I am not even sure if that was the intent or if the content is incomplete. There are also many typos and the chapters change abruptly.

Wow.... This is an interesting read and it brings to light the disfunction of today’s issues.

Informative. The book is short. However, or does outline some things that still go on today. This book is one INFORMATIVE and ENLIGHTENING.

Racist. This is the most racist book ever. Any white person in America shall forever be in eternal shame for treating a black person bad for this is what they represent. America’s history. Know what you stand for. Hate breeds real hate.

Bad book. I just feel as if this book was not meant for a black person to read it should not be sold in stores and black people are no longer slaves and can move pass this life. To is a new day and roots is in a good taste but this was not!!!

The Making of a Slace. This theory follows a lot of trends within urban culture. It's eerie.😕 I am also a black male.

Feels like it's a missing ending 🤷🏾‍♂️. Deep book and definitely worth the read sad how much it still relates to life today.

Life changing. Makes me understand why things are the way that they are! This book is a must read not for only african americans but for all people of all color.
