Formatting. The book designer chose to override our ability to choose our own font, font size, and colors. This made it harder for me to read. I’m an older reader and I find the combination of faded print, yellowed paper, and font size to be a bit challenging, so I’m always reminded it’s there instead of being lost in the words and story.

WOW. This book is simply stunning. The paper illustrations are so charming and really complement the book. The ENTIRE NOVEL is included along with text and video study guides. I'm a Jane Austen fan, but this book really helped me get a deeper understanding of Pride & Prejudice. It was just a great way to read a beautiful novel. I love it!!!

Better than I expected…. I got this book because I read it a long time ago when I was in high school and wanted to remember it again. I made the purchase because the cover looked nice but I wasn't expected how cool the inside was. The "book" is more than just the text (even thought that's in there too) but has interactive character maps and a load of insightful videos showing the details and insights into the book. It was very beautiful and fun to read in this format! Highly recommended.

3 gigs isn't enough memory?. I'd love to get this book, since it's free. But there's no way to do that if 3 gigs of free space isn't enough to download a book that's 1.86 gigs....

So Perfect for Students, and Parent/Teachers as well!. The artwork is simply divine. The information and study guides help students and those who want a deeper understanding than just the story. I hope there will be many more of the classics (and required readings for students) to come out in this format! Puts an end to Cliff Notes I would say!

Not enough space???. Tried to DL this FREE book several times, however s saying I don't have enough space. How's that possible when this book is less than 2 gigs and I ave a lil over 4 gigs available. Thought it was an error so I even restarted my iPad hoping it would "fix" the problem. Nope. Even deleted some apps to make more room. Nope. If you look at the reviews, everybody that has purchased it in the past has great reviews and no problems, but he recent reviews from February (free book of the week) all say they couldn't DL due to not enough space. Hmmm........?

Great book but won't download. I don't know why but it won't let me download the book I hope someone fixes this soon

5 STAR FOR SURE. This is an amazing iBook! The artwork makes the book so much more fun and visually appealing! It also has the WHOLE ENTIRE novel included! Its like an awesome 2 for 1! Highly suggested to everyone and anyone, especially if you enjoy these classics, the paper artwork gives it a whole new spin!

I never would have bothered to read it if not for this iBook. Love to read the classics but don't really have the time to read what I am supposed to read for work. forget about the classics. Anyway, this was a great way to digest the book (other than seeing the movie) and to get a smart perspective on the material. Not sure where that professor comes from in the videos but she is pretty awesome. Have to admit i read about 1/2 the book and used the video tutorial for the other half. basically, If it was not for the options to read or consume the book in thru video lessons, I would not have even bothered to download it. pretty cool overall. I am looking for more titles but don't see any from this publisher.

Says I don't have enough space!. I have 3.1 gigs available, but it says "not enough space". It says that the book is 1.79 GB, however I thought that it was an error, so I figured I would download it anyway. Didn't work. I'm using 1st gen. iPad mini. I'm not putting 1 star, because this is a great book. I hope that this issue can be fixed! -User

Fix This Pretty Please. If you are even the tiniest bit OCD, don't download this! It won't fully download and you can't delete it!!! Driving me crazy! Jane Austen is my favorite but this is really annoying.

Takes too long to download.. I tried downloading the Book, but it takes way too long to download. I have a new iPad with over 100 gigs of storage and it still takes too long.

Amazing teaching resource!. The videos and visuals are fabulous and the full text included is a great bonus. This is great for high school English. I would love to see more novels like this!

A concept 'book' that over reaches itself. Let's be clear. This is not a review about the novel "Pride and Prejudice." It's a review about the iBook with the attendant videos, notes, illustrations and quizzes. This extra content list should give you a clue that the audience for this iBook is fourteen year olds, who want a quick study of the novel for a test at school. All adults - forget this iBook. The notes and videos are repetitive and present information more easily and certainly more entertainingly gathered from just reading the novel. One of Austen's great strengths as an author was her drawing of her characters. It is impossible to read "Pride and Prejudice" without becoming more than familiar with each character, in fact, the reader is drawn completely into the people and their relationships most intimately. Why then, in this iBook presentation, do we need to be given acrostics to remember the names of the characters? The addition of multi-media content, just because it's possible, doesn't always add value. It this case it subtracts. Read the novel. Watch one of the many movies made from it. You'll enjoy either much more.

Fabulous except one thing.... This is one of my favorite books, and as a middle schooler, that's saying a lot. I have many editions of this book, and I loved the beginning introduction! However, this book took quite a while to download, which was extraordinarily frustrating! On another note, the plot of this book is fantastic. To dumb down the classic literature text, it is a true story of drama, love, prejudice, rudeness, brattiness, and true love. I just love the characters so much! If you are into gossip, drama, or anything along those lines,this is the book for you!
