Six Years Book Summary

Harlan Coben explores the dangers of obsession in this #1 New York Times bestselling masterpiece of modern suspense.
Six years have passed since Jake Fisher watched Natalie, the love of his life, marry another man. Six years of hiding a broken heart by throwing himself into his career as a college professor. Six years of keeping his promise to leave Natalie alone, and six years of tortured dreams of her life with her new husband, Todd.
But six years haven’t come close to extinguishing his feelings, and when Jake comes across Todd’s obituary, he can’t keep himself away from the funeral. There he gets the glimpse of Todd’s wife he’s hoping for...but she is not Natalie.
As Jake searches for the truth, his picture-perfect memories of Natalie begin to unravel. Mutual friends of the couple either can’t be found, or don’t remember Jake. No one has seen Natalie in years. And soon, Jake’s search for the woman who broke his heart puts his very life at risk as he uncovers the secrets and lies that love can hide...

Six Years - Harlan Coben Book Reviews

  • Great book (Cute gamesss)

Kept me reading finished in two days
  • Great! (Buddybuddy86)

A thrilling ride and a surprisingly romantic story.
  • Totally hooked (CynthiaDorrego)

This book has been the best thriller I’ve read in a while. I simply could not put it down. I found myself always wanting to keep reading, and I found it a little funny as well! Highly recommend!
  • Amazing plot (Kali0312)

I love this author and his natural gift to carve out relatable, yet distinct characters. Loved how intricate the plot was and how you had just enough clues to keep you guessing without growing frustrated or bored. I definitely recommend this book!!!
  • Long Dull Read (mikekoll)

Too much commenting on the ordinary. Made the book tedious.
  • Six Years (Simple Mystery)

Very fun to read. Captures you to keep reading but not overly complex or too heady. Really enjoyed it.
  • "6 Years" by Harlan Coben (BikerfromCLT)

Fast read with lots of surprises that kept me on the edge of my seat! A bit schmaltzy and predictable ending, but overall thoroughly enjoyed this book!
  • Just plain (Syalalabelle28)

When i purchased this, i have high expectation based on the review and praises given by readers, however, after finished reading it (half scheming the book), i think the book was just simply plain and bad. The twist is not really a twist. Readable but not impressive.
  • six years (Turnkey81)

Great book. Very suspenseful and hard to put down
  • Slow at first but great after that (Ohyeahfun)

I am a huge Harlan Coben fan but it had been awhile since I read another one of his books. The story line was great but it took far too long to get into the meat if the story. Normally for me, HC holds me from the first page to the last. This one not so much. It wasn't until the last half before it became a real page turner. I did enjoy it but not as much as earlier works by HC.
