Lizzisays. This book was awesome!!! I just can't wait for the second to come out. The main character in this story is strong and empowering just can't get enough. When the book started out I almost didn't keep reading because it was so sad but read through its so worth it.

Great book. This book is amazing.

I Love It!!. Hi Mrs. Knight! You have said that you don't read the reviews but if you read this, I am so honored to have you as my ELA teacher. I wished I bought a hard copy so you could sign it and I hope I will see you soon.. and I loved it. Thanks so much! You were a GREAT teacher and an amazing author!

Project ELE. Seriously. Edit. The story is really pretty good. But come on. I at times am left wondering if there was even a designated proofreader on this project.

WOW!. This book was fantastic! I've read tons of books, and few can live up to the standards of this one! Can't wait for the next one!

A gripping story. Very good story. A bit predictable, but still had surprises. Worth reading.

Terrible Grammar, Though Otherwise Fine. Missing commas and apostrophes are my biggest complaint. Otherwise it's a great story!!

Amazing. I LOVED it!!!!! Couldn't stop reading it! I hope a second book comes out SOON!!!!

Loved it. I absolutely loved this book I loved the characters and the mysteries i really loved this book so don’t pass it up

Amazing!!!. I couldn't put it down!!!! I hope the authors continue to write more than four books to this series!!👍👍👍

Awesome. Just downloaded the second!

The best book ever. I absolutely loved this book and it's series so sad that it is over😩😢

A wonderful story, very sad and very strong.. This story has become one of my favorites! I found the characters to be amazing. The plot was well thought out and beautifully orchestrated. The writing was so good that even descriptions were an interesting part of the story. And I loved that there were strong characters of both sexes. A few small warnings. First, this story has some of the most heart wrenching scenes I've read. Don't try to read it in public. I don't often cry while reading, but this book had me crying very quickly. And it had me hooked even quicker. The characters were real people to me, and will stay in my heart and mind for a long time. If you're not up for a sad story, with deaths included, don't read it. And I don't think young children should read it. There was a very small amount of cursing. I believe crap was the worst word I found, and it wasn't used often. I do recommend this book for teens and adults. In fact, if the two warnings above don't stop you, I think you will love this story. Enjoy!

Interesting story. I love stories like this, where some good young person inadvertently becomes empowered with special abilities but their good character keeps them from abusing them. The main character, Willow, finds herself in a facility that is meant to provide its citizens with the ability to survive an Extinction Level Event. She makes friends with someone and explores the facility. Conflict comes with a young bully whose dad owns the place. The book has clean language. There’s too much making out for me to be able to recommend it to my kids, and I found it a little uncomfortable to read myself.

Project ELE. Very good read. I enjoyed every turn I went through with this book. Thanks for a a great story.

Project ELE #2 release date?. Amazing book!!! When is the next book coming out???

Interesting!. I really enjoyed this book! My brother-in-law and I decided to read it together and I’m not disappointed!

Amazing!. I loved this book! It held my attention all the way through.

Really picks up near the end.... Just when I was thinking this was a sappy teen drama, the authors threw me for a loop. I wasn't expecting the story to have twists and turns but it's a really good read. It has love and danger and good characters, though not much character development. Interested in seeing what happens next.

Project ELE. AWESOME!!!! Can't wait for the next book! Strong characters and a cool plot. Really good book! 👍

Best book ever!!!!😃. I can't believe how much I loved this book, it is a must read!!!

Great idea and world building. As much as I didn’t much care for the sappy love story throughout most of the book, the idea of the series hooked me in. The main character is very relatable and the world that the first book establishes has hooked me for the rest of the series! Highly suggest!

Omg. This is an amazing read read it JUST DO IT

Love it. Amazing!

Intriguing. If you are a fan of sci-fi or otherworldly books you will like this one!

This feels like reading a rough draft of a potentially good book. This feels like reading a rough draft of a potentially good book. I didn’t realize when I downloaded this that it was a self-published book. Good for the authors for getting their work out there, but this book needed an editor, or at least a proofreader, before going to print. I found the number of grammar mistakes and typos very distracting. I was shocked a book with so many glaring errors would have made it to distribution so I searched more reviews. That’s when I discovered this was self-published. The story itself is an intriguing concept. I got sucked in quickly and poured through the first half of the book (except for the grammar speed bumps). SPOILER ALERT. By about half way through, I became annoyed with the vapid teen characterization. Willow is portrayed in the beginning as a devoted sister and daughter, but it was three months into the book’s timeline before her concern for the fate of her mother and brother is even mentioned, and then only as a fleeting thought. They are never mentioned again. I am a parent to a 15 year old girl, and even in her most egocentric teen moments, she doesn’t behave this self-absorbed. Willow loses half her family in one traumatic afternoon, after a lengthy and no-doubt impactful pandemic, and within days seems to have moved on to dating her new super hot, older boyfriend without any layers of other emotions. The book misses the opportunity to explore the depth of her grief and anxiety, her perseverance through those, such that the discovery of her own strength (and oh yeah, super powers … what?!) is more comical than triumphant. And what about her father? Another complex character and relationship we’d love to explore, but he’s given about 4 paragraphs in the entire first 2/3 of the book. He’s assigned a grueling and humiliating work detail after losing his wife and son, having no idea if they have survived on the outside, and we hear nothing about his struggle. Where is his anguish? I was determined to finish the book because I want to know where the story lands, but as other reviews stated, I was only headed for a cliffhanger. There was no ending whatsoever. That’s unfortunate. Based on the current rough-draft state of this book, I won’t invest my time or money in reading 4 more unedited/unproofread books.

I want to enjoy this. because it seems like a lot of other people really did, but I cannot get through the first chapter. The main character is fifteen yet the book reads as though she was nine. Maybe younger. I understand that there is a sort if naïveté that comes with homeschooling and a lack of social interactions, but at fifteen, if you have been raised by full functioning parents and are aware of things such as deadly virus's and death itself you should be able to understand what "repopulation" is. The author is trying too hard in some areas to create this new world with history woven into the narrative but it is not done well. They are in line at one point and the next second she is being told to go to bed in a tent. With a few more proper edits this could be a decent read, however the author needs to put in that time and effort if they want to gain success.

LOOOVVEEE ITT!!!!. THIS BOOK WAS SOOOO GOOD!!! I didn't think it would be good in the beginning but I was wrong!!! Theirs action, adventure, romance and I love Willow and all the characters!! THIS AUTHOR SHOULD KEEP WRITING!!!!!

Good premise, falls short. I gave this book 3 stars because the idea is a good one! However, this book has a serious issue with punctuation, grammar, and syntax. Many words spelled or used incorrectly, run-on sentences, and a serious lack of commas. It was so distracting to me that I started highlighting all the errors - if the authors would like an edited copy of this book, let me know! ;) Also, some of the dialogue and behavior is so unrealistic and cringe-worthy. I would guess a teenager wrote this book. With some really good editing and a few minor changes, this could be a great book. As it is now, I don't know if I will continue on with the series.
