I want my money back!!!. I don't mind that everyone is writing erotic romance after the wild success of Fifty Shades. But I resend it when people take the same story, change the names of the characters, and charge me $5.99 for essentially the same story only poorly written. Arrgh!!!! Seriously people? Guy is always under 30, uber rich (yay right!), girl works for him or an extension of his company. And oh, someone was abused and now has issues forming relationships. There is a collage of pictures, a private airplane, an unscrupulous mother and of course a troubled best friend. Lots and lots of the same sex scenes that you end up skipping cause frankly it gets old and you keep hoping for some substance but the sadly, the story remains flat. What a scam! I feel stupid for buying this book. Would have been more satisfying to read FSOG again.

Amazing. Simply AMAZING!!! The characters are so vivid and alive. As I read there was a movie playing in my head bringing it all to life. The only regret I had was that I came to the end of the book!

GREAT READ. I loved this book. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out. If you like 50 shades of Grey you will love this book. You can practically smell the sea air and feel the breeze from the ocean.

Interesting! Buy it.. A nice new trilogy. Worth it. Entertaining and I am actually surprised a few times.

Not worth it!!!!. It's a cheap copy of Grey and Crossfire with a nonsense drama. Not worth $8 and will not buy the second book.

Book1. This is a story of trouble characters. I didn't want to compare to Fifty Shades, but yes is almost like it. Although the story stands on its our. Troubling characters and money makes it Almost the same. The author has a very erotic way of writing which make her a wonderful writer.

Good read. I really enjoyed the book. It was an easy read and had a good flow. The sex scenes are short, to the point, and not to detailed. You cannot compare it to 50 shades. They are totally different books, writing styles, story lines, and authors. On to book two (claim me) There is a total of three books in this series.

A passionate reread!. I was checking to see if I left a review way back when I first read this story.. I didn’t find one so here it is. First off this isn’t my first time reading this story. And like when I read it before it still is an amazing read. I’ve been thinking about Nikki and Damien for awhile that’s why I reread it. I love their passion.. the way they connect. And the hotness is off the charts! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and the storyline keeps me going because there’s so many twist and turn and just as many secrets. Yeah. I needed this connection to bring back what I love to read. Why I love reading so much. I just love rereading stories years later that I’ve loved.. it’s almost like reading a brand new story. 🤓

REALLY. Wouldn't it be great if there was actually a story line. Instead OH MY GOD SOMEONE HAS COME FROM OUR PAST TO STIR UP TROUBLE IN EVERY BOOK. And then all they do is have sex. Nothing wrong with sex, but really she could have put everything in one book instead of drawing it out to twelve. Oh yeah. She needed that car payment.

Did not diasappoint. Almost better than 50 Shades and Crossfire. Good plot, steamy writing-can’t believe I’ve not heard of this series but so glad I stumbled on it!

Simply amazing. When people compared this book to fifty shades of grey it sparked my interest but reading it made my head spin this book is far more relatable the fifty shades of grey was in may way it makes sparks fly off the pages

Rocking story. Just as good as Fifty Shades!

Not as good as it could've been. This book started out pretty good and kinda hot. What followed were irritating parallels of 50 shades and Bared to You. It's like the author kept the same theme just different characters. The only difference is that those books had a pretty good story line believable people and way hotter sex tales. Not worth the $.

Disappointing. Based on the reviews, I was expecting this book to be better than I found it to be. It wants to be better than it is. Damien wasn’t particularly likable, in a dickish way, and Nikki had the backbone of a cooked spaghetti noodle. I couldn’t even finish it.

Very intense!. So similar to 50 shades with a few twists and “dark sides” loved it!!!

Terrible.... The first book in the series had a decent storyline. Books 2 & 3 however...gone is the storyline. Every other page includes the same exact descriptive words, setting and dialogue for sex. Aside from the erotic portions (which aren't erotic due to lack of creativity and over usage of scenes), the "in between" portions also include the same conversations, same settings over and over again. After a third of the way through the 3rd book I could no longer read content that was in other chapters and books in the series. Need new ideas

Terrible read!. This book was such a disappointment. I brought this book based on all the great reviews, but it was so not worth the money. I will definitely not buy the 2nd book. The bared to you and crossfire series was so much better.

Eh. Choppy and cliche; reliant on the the ‘rich male saves innocent girl’ plot line, didn’t really grab me...

Great start to a Trilogy. Excellent story! Love the relationship between the main characters, Nikki has so much spunk and Damian is the perfect mix of secretive playboy and a sweet romantic. There are similarities to other popular books (I'm sure you can guess which :) but it has enough of its own story that it doesn't ruin it. Can't wait to read the 2nd book!!

Buy it!!! Don't listen to other reviews, read this one!!. I almost didn't buy this book. I've read fifty shades trilogy more times than I'm willing to admit and I've read the crossfire series (Bared to You). Other reviews said if you read those then don't read this one, its the same thing etc etc. NO IT'S NOT!!! I mean, come on, you're looking for erotica of course there will be similarities. The story is different enough and only one chapter a good 150 pages in really takes me to the other two series and its brief to where it can be forgiven. I'm excited to read the next book and see where this story takes us. I've read the Sleeping Beauty books, Thoughtless/Effortless, Gabrielle's Enferno/Rapture.... All the ones they tell Fifty Shades fans to read and I would definitely put this series in the top three with Fifty and Crossfire!!!

Absolutely great. Loved every single page of this book and that says a lot because I'm one of those readers that will skip thru pages when it gets too detailed and boring. Never happened with this book. I can hardly wait to find out what Damiens secrets are...

Great!!!!!!. This story was great, I see and agree with the parallels to fifty shades and the crossfire trilogy but in my opinion j.kenner is better than e.l. James and maybe a smidge better than Sylvia day and I am a huge Gideon/Ava fan, I have been anxiously awaiting the release of entwined with you and have even scheduled vacation time to coincide with its release date but now I'm pretty darn excited for April 23rd and the release of j.kenner's next book starring Damien & Nikki, good story line and great characters!
