Finely crafted beginning. This is a fine story and the beginning of a very worthwhile series. I have read all 12 books to date, waiting patiently for each new adventure. There is great variety in the narratives, no tedious formula and a host of interesting characters moving through the individual stories. Well worth the time. Bravo, Ms.Adina.

Too short but good. Far to short to be considered a novel. Otherwise, a good story of a bit hypocritical at times.

Magnificent. The Lady of Devices is an engrossing tale of a young Lady who casts her lot with children from the lowest level of Victorian society. As one would hope, adventures ensue. I am delighted to learn that many more adventures await me as I make my way thru this series. They will delight you too.

Fun Steampunk with strong female protagonists.. I ripped through every novel from book 1 through 7 and enjoyed them immensely. Sure, the plots aren't complicated and might be too cute for some hard core scifi readers. However, they were exactly what I was looking for. I recommend them for any age.

Great book. I found this book very interesting and funny. A good mix of Scifi & Victorian history.

Great read. I'm new to the Steam Punk genre but thought I'd give this a whirl when it was featured for the week and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the main character - Mary Poppins meets Fagin - and my only quibble was that it ended too soon. I'll be buying the subsequent books in the series and showing this one to my daughters.
