Narodni poslanik by Branislav Nušić Book Summary
“Narodni poslanik” - prva Nušićeva komedija, ide u red njegovih vrhunskih ostvarenja. Zanimljiva je istorija i sudbina ove komedije. Komad je išao od upravnika Narodnog pozorišta (M. Popović Šapčanin) do recenzenata (Milovan Glišić i Laza Lazarević), od jedne do druge instance, da bi najzad, 19. oktobra 1896. godine, gotovo deceniju i po otkako je napisan, bio prikazan na zadovoljstvo publike - pred punim pozorištem i uz određene primedbe kritike. Ili - po rečima samog Nušića, „dok je moj “Narodni poslanik” putovao iz kancelarije u kancelariju ili se baškario po policijskim fijokama, dotle je vreme naglo odmicalo, godine prolazile, život se menjao". Jedan od razloga životvornosti Nušićevog komičnog teatra svakako je i u tome što pojedini poroci koje je tako inventivno naslikao nisu iščezli ni u naše dane. Ipak, najveća tekovina njegove komediografije jeste životvorni i neuništivi smeh, a upravo je u tome i najveća mera humanosti.
