Amazing. It is my favorite book

It was a love/ hate thing. The book makes it seem like highschool is this magical place where jocks are so stereotypical and stupid. The author makes the situation seem deeper and more dramatic than it would be in real life. I loved it at the same time though

Great time, great ending.. It was fun to read, couldn't let down and it's not a cheesy ending as you would expect. It was lacking a little more action in characters tho. Would totally recommend this book.

Beautifully written with and unfortunate ending. This book is well worth the read, but the ending leaves something to be desired.

One of the best YA books in a long time. I am happy to say that this is a book that I have been waiting for: a YA book that is well written, has a great plot with a twist, and dynamic, yet blemished, characters. I give it one of my highest recommendations for those who like YA literature.

A good/easy read. This was a good book! I was hesitant to read it, but I read “extraordinary means” by Robyn Schneider a few years ago and really liked it, so decided to give it a try. This novel turned out to be a little predictable, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I read it in one sitting over the course of a few hours, and never once felt like I had trouble continuing. A quick, easy read is the best way to describe it. The ending wasn’t exactly what you’d hope for, but I suppose it was just realistic, and didn’t in any way ruin the book. This book reminded me a little bit of “looking for Alaska” by John green. Just how mysterious Cassidy was, and the ending although less tragic. Additionally, I absolutely love witty and sarcastic language used in literature, and Schneider does a great job at this!:) this book definitely made me laugh, and I loved the deadpanned sarcasm mostly employed by the main character Ezra. Overall, it’s a good read! I don’t regret buying it, and I definitely think you should buy it too if you’re looking for a good/short read:)

Not worth it. This book was not worth reading it. Ezra was a witty voice, and there were some other likable characters like Ezra's friend, Toby. However, not long after starting the "The Beginning of Everything" I realized I didn't really care for the Ezra's love interest, Cassidy, or whether Ezra's relationship with her would work out. I found that I was much more interested in Ezra's and Toby's friendship. There isn't much of a plot besides Ezra joining the debate team and his romance with Cassidy, which as I said wasn't that great...

It's Funny too!. I loved the story. I loved how the book ended. I really enjoyed reading it. I always wanted to know what's gonna happen next. I never expected it to be that good. It's absolutely one of my favorite books. To me the way this book ended is better than in all john green's books that I've read ( TFIOS, Alaska, and PT). ;)

Hilarious and Heartwarming. This is a Rom Com book wrapped in a mystery. You'll laugh and shed tears all at the same time. The story is great and gets you hooked in immediately. I finished it in less then 12 hours. Great read.

pretty good. i really enjoyed this book, finished it in just a couple days; it sucked me in. i loved ezra’s humor and wit. i always rooted for relationship of ezra and cassidy, but was disappointed with the end of the book. i understood where the author wanted it to go and the “moral of the story” i suppose is the right way to put it, but i found it sad and anticlimactic. i guess i knew it wouldn’t be rainbows and love and butterflies by the end, but i expected something more from the conclusion of the book; maybe something brighter— but i guess that isn’t real life after-all. i truly loved ezra and his character in the novel; definitely a guy i would kick back and have a beer with. from his wit and banter to his deep thoughts and revelations; his character was nothing short of perfect. i’m glad i read the book.

Most special book ever!!!. I laughed. I cried. This is something super special.

Ugh!!...so good. This book touches upon a lot of subjects that most people to take into play in there everyday life. This book makes you see love, tragedy, friendship, and simply just existing; in a whole different light, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The eye opening ending for Ezra was breath taking being able to learn what he did about himself in the span of a school year that most don't learn in a lifetime was touching.

Wonderful. I thought "The Beginning of Everything" was a great novel. It was a refreshing novel that strays away from the obsessive love story between two high schoolers. Yes, they do often think of each other, but not in the way some authors portray high school relationships. I thought Ezra and Cassidy's relationship was very true to how they really are. It was also funny, witty and charming. A review about the book said that you will fall in love with Ezra, and I thought that was very true. He was funny and cute and wholesome. Cassidy was also funny and different, as in she didn't care. That was nice to hear about a girl that didn't constantly worry about who was watching her or if she was doing the right thing. All of the characters were great and very well written. It was also nice to read a book that leaves you wanting so much more at the end, and maybe leaving you a bit sad, but happy. All in all, I think anyone who enjoys contemporaries will very much enjoy this book.

Great book!. The only thing that I can see is that this book is really great. If you like books by John Green or Rainbow Rowell and want to read a book kind of like it, I suggest this story.

The Beginning of Everything. This book had me tied to my bed and wouldn’t let me put it down. It had everything you would want in a YA book; romance, humor, fantastic thoughts, and a plot that you can relate to. If you live in suburbia, this is just the book for you. Thank you, Robyn Schneider, for writing something that everyone can love.

Soul searching. Discusses how we define ourselves through the tragedies in our lives and how utterly false those definitions can be. Absolutely loved this book. It's an amazing read and sheds light on how people can react in their darkest moments.
