Disappointing. It started out great. But then it got predictable in the middle. And the end? Blah. Boring. It really seems like Laura forgot who Andy was at that point.

Disappointed!!!. After reading the brilliant Devil Wears Prada, I was super excited to see this new book come out. After downloading it twice, I finally read only to be sorely disappointed. It lacks the grip of the first book and almost ends abruptly! Don't recommend spoiling the taste of the first.

Quite short, and a bit of a let down.. I loved that "Devil..." was so full,of sexy references to clothes and designers. "6 inch stilettos thigh high boots of buttery soft beige suede..." This is a cheap knock off. I cute story. I read it in a few hours. Not sexy. Really elicited no emotion at all. May be the movie will be better. Sorry I spent the money.

Loved it!. A light easy read.

Enjoyed it. Huge fan of Devil, which would be a tough act to follow. I disagree with the critiques stating it was boring. It isn't boring but I felt like her relationships were somewhat forced. It was a good story though overall.

revenge wears prada. A real disappointment. Thought it would be a fun summer read but instead was bored by the materialistic and shallow story line. Poorly written - seems to be a bid for a second film vs a desire to write a good story.

Whiny, miserable Andy!. Worst book I've ever read! Spoilers* The book fast forwards 10 years since Andy has worked for Miranda yet every recollection of her sends Andy into ptsd. If this was a real person I would recommend therapy, since she isn't lets just say it's boring to read about. Andy meets and marries "the worlds most perfect man" but doesn't want to marry him based on a nothing letter his mother wrote, marries him anyway and punishes him for the first half of the book for no reason, without speaking to him about it. There is very little devil and zero revenge. It was very obvious that Andy would end up with Alex from the get go although why she would want to had me scratching my head. For some reason the writer decided to write a long, boring pregnancy and too much tmi into the novel, no thanks. Being a person based in Silicon Valley I found it hard to follow andy's logic on not wanting to sell. Overall the Andy character wasn't like able. I remember feeling that way about her in TDVP but without Miranda around to counter her whiny annoying self righteous self she really is unbearable.

Just OK for a sequel. I did not hate the book... But I kept waiting for the big peak moment and it just was not there. At times it moved very slowly and I was actually bored. I have seen better from Lauren, this was not her best work.

I really wanted to like it. I really did, I wanted to just love this book. The first book is so good, and kept me interested. I found myself just dreading every word. I feel like I knew the end 30 minutes into it. I feel let down and disappointed.

Disappointing.. Disappointing. I found myself irritated by the neurotic and dramatic behavior of the main character. Because of this the book was tedious to get through.

It's Just...OKAY. I could've passed on this book. It made every situation that happened very drawn out. Andy was very tiring and bratty when it came to expressing herself.

The worst. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this horrible book. I adore TDWP, but this paltry sequel was lackluster at best. Andy is somehow, after ten years and a successful writing career, completely and utterly PATHETIC. And where's the revenge?! I can't believe this book earned more than one star, and even one is debatable. Don't waste your money or time. Reread the original... Or wait for the movie, but I don't even know if Meryl will be able to bring this dead fish of a novel to life.

Disappointing. I wanted to love this book. I loved both the book and movie for Devil Wears Prada. Unfortunately, this sequel comes nowhere near the original. The plot was predictable, flat and trite at times. There was opportunity for so much more depth. At times, I found myself skimming along just to get through a chapter. I honestly wish I'd purchased a different book in my queue, rather than spending money on this one. Hopefully, if a movie is made of this, they can keep the primary cast from the first movie and make something decent of this book. Such a disappointment!

Superficial and predictable. Did anyone actually proofread this books? TONS of typos.

Seriously??. Author Lauren must have sold out to a Miranda-esque publisher. If you're writing a sequel, at least keep the characters in their former "character". When did Andy's long-time love stop being a chef and become a teacher? When did Nigel turn into such a flashy gay stereotype? When did Andy lose her voice and become so whiny after her bold exit from Miranda in first book? Ending seemed more like a looming deadline to wrap things up than a fitting conclusion.

Revenge Wears Prada. Was extremely disappointed with this sequel to Devil Wears Prada. While I enjoyed the heroine Andie in the first book, I found her to be a watered down version in this follow up, crossing into annoying and irritating. The path the author took for her was disappointing to say the least and the choices she made in the end were self-serving and petty. Did not like this book AT ALL!

Didn't disappoint!!!. Great follow-up to The Devil Wears Prada. It was nice to catch up with the characters from the original book 10 years later to see how their lives has turned out. I hope this one is made into a movie too!! Now we need to have a follow-up to this one so we can see how things turn out for Andy and Alex!!!

sequels never win. I admit I did not read The Devil Wears Prada but loved the movie so when this sequel was released I quickly bought it hoping to enjoy all that captivated me about the original. NOT. The title in itself is misleading as I have yet to figure out where revenge comes to play. Sure there are interesting story lines and character developments but nothing that satisfies the definition of revenge: to exact punishment or expiation for a wrong on behalf of, especially in a resentful or vindictive spirit. Andy is double crossed by those closest to her and just simply walks away. Even when Miranda reveals her true nature, Andy shows insight but again, takes no action. Perhaps the title should be Betrayal Wears Prada. I won't bore you with the plot, read for yourself and see if you agree with my opinion. I can't help but shake the feeling that this book was only written with the hopes that Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt reprise their roles in a sequel that if sticking to the book, and keeping with sequel traditions, will probably be a flop.

Definitely a great sequel. I kind of hope they make it into a movie as well!

Revenge wears Prada. Boring and predictable. Andy is whiny. You just want to say deal with it! So disappointing

Not only boring, super annoying. I really tried and I am an easy public. This is boring, flat and so predictable. Don't bother.

Huge disappointment. I was a huge fan of Weisberger's earlier books, especially The Devil Wears Prada and was extremely excited to read the sequel. Sadly, this book a huge disappointment. The characters were poorly developed and the storyline was weak. I found my self easily frustrated or annoyed with the characters interactions. I didn't experience the same addiction and connection to this book as I did with The Devil Wear Prada. I wanted to be a fan but overall this book fell short of my expectations.

Revenge wears prada. I have never written a review but had to on this. Very disappointed in this book! I kept waiting for the "Devil" to show up in this book and do what we loved in the first. Miranda was barely in this book and the story was boring and weak. It took me 3 months to finish it because it was so slow. I was hoping for another movie but this wouldn't even be a movie you could make without people falling asleep in the theater.

Predictable but entertaining. There were few surprises in this book. Overall, it was an entertaining read. However, it didn't capture my interest and hold me captive. At times it dragged.

Not worth it. Honestly, this book just felt like a boring and tacky romance novel with a few familiar characters in it (Who were much more clearly defined in the first book). Truly, I felt like Weisberger kept repeating herself over and over and over about the most mundane things and all of the plot points were completely predictable/forgettable. I felt slightly like I was tricked into reading this, lured in by the name of the original book (which I loved) and found myself reading a romance novel/baby book instead. It felt like fan fiction. Thumbs down.

Boring. I loved the first book and the movie. This sequel did not live up to my expectations. I was very disappointed. It took me several months to finish this.

Pretty good. It was a little drug out with a different twist than you would think but has a nice ending

revenge wears prada. Amazing book

Love. Love it! It is a great summer read! Twists and turns around every corner.

Disappointing!. I was really excited to read this book, because of the fact that I loved The Devil Wears Prada so much. She presents Andy as a selfish person and not thinking about the big picture and only herself. The fact that she got a divorce shows that she really did not love her husband in the first place. Yes, I understand it was wrong of her husband to go behind her back, but he also has his business to think of since he is the main financier of the magazine. One would think that Andy would be a stronger women with how the first book was.

Fabulous. This is such a enjoyable and easy to read book! This is the first time I have read her book and am pleasantly surprised how easy each chapter was to read. Can't wait for the movie!

Revenge? Where?. Well, gee..seems the only reason this was written is for a movie sequel, that we can only hope will be based off a RE-written screenplay! It's a repetitive, time jumping confusion of characters that no one will recognize from TDWP. And there's is NO revenge so the title doesn't even work! Literally, I don't think there was one likable character except Max.. And then she ruined him too! Thanks to the author for turning in a bunch of characters that no one would even deal with, nevermind actually like, in the real world. All of these characters are jerks. Andrea is ridiculous. Whiny, no back bone and has a best friend that treats her like garbage, (who also doesn't care if her husband screws around on her) A husband that betrays her in one of the worst possible ways, a nasty snob for a mother-in-law and a business that is incredibly successful yet she doesn't spend much time at the company. She spends most of her time in fantasyland. Not to mention the fact that both the owners of this business are unbelievably bitchy to each other so it's laughable, that together, they could ever create something so successful as that magazine and then the author wants us to believe Miranda notices it? Huh? This is a dumb sequel with several reoccurring characters that have transformed into a huge flop. Zero strong woman in this follow up. Should have let them rest ...on the last page of TDWP! That's all...

Cute, predictable, quick read. I wish you could rent books like this... I finished it in less than 2 days. With a toddler running around. While packing for a beach vacation. It's what you've come to expect from Ms. Weisberger... Juicy, gossipy, full of name-dropping (fictitious and real)... But fun, escapist, chick-lit.

Junk. After being a huge fan of DWP - book and movie- What a huge disappointment. I kept waiting for this book to start cooking and it never does. The author takes too much time getting lost in her new baby-yeah yeah- we all love our kids but I read to get away from the mundane not to be reminded of it. Yawn. Next time someone needs to grow a set of nuts and thicken the plot a bit.

Expected so much more.... I loved the original. But this sequel was lazy in its plot direction, some of the characters were thinly fleshed out and it just didn't amount to much. Boring in the extreme. It wasn't great even for trashy fiction. This book was just an excuse to pump out some garbage and trade on the original's success. Shame.

A disappointment.. Extremely predictable. I hate how the book skips time randomly with no explanation. The ending is very frustrating, and unrealistic. The "climax" of the plot fell flat. Two stars.

Better than the first. I hesitated at the reviews of this book long before I purchased it. I liked most read devil wears prada 10 years ago. I can whole heartily say this is better than it's predecessor. I don't know where the bad reviews come from. I read this in about 18 hours. I am sad I finished it so quickly as I know the next book will not keep me as entertained. This is just the book to read when you want something light and girly. Give it a shot!!

predictable. I was tempted to stop reading it, but I had alread spent the money and kept thinking something amazing might happen. Climax came and went in one chapter, which was very dissappointing. I still don't understand who got revenge. Miranda? Andy? ending was predictable. Finally, I am bored of all these female characters being "average" while their best friends are stunning, perfect bodies, smart, etc. Didnt Andy end up being the ultimate female at the end of the "devil wears prada"? seems she went backwards. its an easy read, you can skim the parts of too much detail about lavish apts, etc., which have no place in the plot.

Revenge WearsPrada. Not good. Andy character is awful. It's like she's in Junior High all over again. I didn't laugh once. End of story.

Had high hopes. I felt this book started out pretty well, but it quickly got on my nerves. I felt Andy was incredibly whiny throughout the entire book and it was very aggravating.

Nowhere near what I expected. I loved the first book, so I naturally downloaded the sequel as soon as it was available. I haven't ever been this disappointed in a book, and my expectations weren't high. Andy was a completely different character. She was petulant, whiny, self-obsessed, and obsessive. The entire book was her delaying one conversation or another. I expected the story to be lavish and indulgent, but I did not expect it to change the protagonist so thoroughly. I feel like the sequel was written hastily, without regard to a plot, for the purpose of making some money, and not because there was more story to tell. What a shame.

Boring and Disappointing. I never really got into this book. I was disappointed in the plot twist near the end and I was not happy with the ending.

Cute but a little typical. If you're a fan of the devil wears Prada than you might find this an interesting read. I didn't read the first book but to be honest found it a little cheesy. Fun read but no surprises.

Revenge Wears Prada. Yawn! Loved the first book, but this one is going nowhere. Tried to give it a chance; thought it might put me to sleep, but it only frustrated me. Juvenile. Would like my money back and the time I spent reading it. Doesn't seem like the same author. Ouch. I know that's harsh, but I cannot lie when it comes to literature.

Completely asinine.. The promising drama from the first pages is a cheap trick. It doesn't even fold out at all and becomes completely irrelevant for the rest of the book of which is filled with the personality of a tedious and dithering woman child. Seriously, Andy seems to have departed from her character in the first book to now a boring, and uneventful woman that seems more childish with every chapter than the last. The transitions in the book, whether it was a few days, a month and even a year were abrupt, and honestly the writing felt lazy and completely without humor. Huge disappointment, especially as I loved The Devil Wears Prada.

Amazing!!!. This is a must read if you liked The Devil Wears Prada. Lauren is even more creative in this book. I found myself not able to put the book down. Looking forward yo the next book.

Disappointing. Usually a fan of her books but feel like she phoned this one in.

Ending almost made it worth it. Slooooow moving at best. I truly felt like the whole book could have been wrapped up in about 5 chapters at most. Instead we read about how hard poor Andy's life is when she marries a man (old money rich) who adores her has a best friend who supports her and spends her work hours interviewing famous stars! Gosh that must be soooo hard! If it wasn't for the end this may be a 1star review. Lets see if you can last that long.

Revenge wears Prada. Some parts were good but Andy is not the same character which was disappointing. She is too self absorbed I loved Max except for what he did at the end of their relationship but he actually deserved better than her any way.

The magic is gone. The plot was lacking. I felt that Miranda's ruthlessness was under utilized and Andy's strength a but forgotten. A horrible attempt at cashing in on sequel. This did not take capture magic that could have been for the fashionista audience that devoured The Devil Wears Prada. This is a fluffy read if your mind needs a quick escape. Keep your expectations on that level and you will find your appetite pleasantly fulfilled.

Yuck. Bad plot, bad character development, not an interesting read.

Don't bother. This was a struggle to finish, nothing like the first book, very disappointed.

Disappointing. Was excited for this text, but characters are just annoying
