Love love love. This book is AMAZING! I read it in one day. I don't know how long I can wait for books 2 & 3!!!!

50 Shades holds nothing on The Submissive!. I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to books. I really need a well written story no matter how steamy the love scenes are. I was ready to put down 50 Shades within two chapters, but stuck with it because I don't like to form an opinion until I've fully experienced something. With The Submissive, I couldn't put it down! I tend to get tired of the unrealistic plot devices present in the romance genre, like in 50 Shades where someone who is not at all interested in the BDSM lifestyle ends up in a total power exchange relationship! The Submissive is much more believable in that aspect, among others. Also, I love that this series is in the 1st person perspective. It really helps the reader to understand what the characters are going through! The second book is from the leading male's perspective which really adds another layer. The other major thing that Tara Sue Me did right is her BDSM research! The scenes and lifestyles are far more accurately portrayed in The Submissive than in 50! READ THIS BOOK!

Written Before Fifty Shades. This story was first published online as a fan fiction at least a year and a half before Master of the Universe (Fifty Shades before being published). I felt this was written better and it was just a bit more tasteful.

The submissive. Pretty good book enjoyed it however not as good as 50 shades.

Sooo hooked!. I gobbled this book up as if it was a triple chocolate cheesecake! The second installment is supposed to come out in August, and well now it's August! Trying to be very patient!

50 shades of plagiarism!. U have to be kidding me!!! This book is a untalented 50 shades re-write with undeveloped characters. Every scene in this book comes from 50 shades! I'm so disappointed. Is this legal???

Awesome Read!!!. I could not but this book down. It made me laugh, cry, and explode with surprise. I really appreciated the flow of the story...she got right into it and didn't waste any time (or paper). Not familiar with author but now a fan. Can't wait for the next part of the trilogy! A must read...I have already told all of my friends and now we have juicy conversations at brunch!

Amazing. I honestly loved this more than Fifty Shades, however I really love the crossfire series as well. Great read if you’re into these types of books.

Not quite 50 shades. 50 shades was much better and you felt you knew the characters more but this was a decent read as well

Pleasantly surprised. I came across this book and thought I'd give it a try. I have read the 50 series and attempted to read other titles that are similarly themed and have found that they do not compare. THIS book however, had me totally enraptured. Absolutely LOVED it! I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us in the rest of the series ;-) P.S. I loved this book so much more than 50... Not having pages and pages of a whiny, torn heroine was refreshing!

Great book. Really great and easy book to read. Loved how the author went right to the point throughout the whole book. No nonsense with their every day lives, basically focused on just their time together.

Buy this. I realize I might sound like I work for or know the author, but I don't, I am familiar with her work and recommend her, this is money well spent, you will not be disappointed, I won't compare her to others, she is a good writer who can stand on her own, buy it!

Flat, shallow, terrible read...... Badly written copy of 50 shades with shallow completely undeveloped characters. Steamy and hot is better with depth and original storyline. This is not worth the money or time.
