Powerful. This book was very powerful. Some of the most courageous men that have come through American history. Very life changing testimonies and great men who had great perseverance, even when others turn on them. It amazing how God can use a life, like He did with these men. Ever man believer and non should read this book!!
A book to read and live. I appreciate that in giving us some of his heroes the author didn't paint them to be super-saints. Instead, he gave us some of their accomplishments and failures, strengths and weaknesses. Even more importantly, he showed us how their faith moved them into action--even into sacrificing of themselves in order to obey God's calling for their lives and benefit others. This is no less than what we all should be doing.
Seven Men. This is a very enlightening book. I grew up in the era of Jackie Robinson and was a young man during the Watergate crisis. I can relate a lot of my own experiences to some of the experiences of these seven individuals. Eric Metaxas is a brilliant writer. He writes with great passion and humility. This is a wonderful book for anyone to read. Thank you Eric for enriching my life.
