So Good!. I loved the characters in this story. There’s action and magic and mystery but you still get to know the characters. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

The Kinshield Legacy. From the opening sentence I was hooked on Gavin Kinshield's story. He's like us, flawed, trying to heal from a dreadful event, yet always trying to do the right thing. K. C. May has made a completely believable world for the characters to inhabit. I warn you, you'll be hooked on the series.

Kingshield. If you love epic type books, give this a shot. It's a good, original story & you will be caught up in the characters by the end. It's always a good sign when you look forward to the next book rather than feeling compelled by a cliff hanger ending.

What a fun journey!!!. This book has everything, love story, danger, mystery, fantasy and more. I was sad when I finished I want to read more about all the different worlds!!! Gavin hasn't told his whole story yet!!!

An insightful adventure. This book was a good read. The flawed characters, the underlying familiarity with character intricacies, as well as the overall fickleness of people (loyalty, friendship, etc.).

The Kinshield Legacy. The characters are well-developed with a good eye to moving the story along without losing sight of the detail that takes a reader into the surroundings in which the tale takes place. An excellent start to what I hope is a short series. Too many authors in this genre don't know how to end a series and get lost trying to wrap it up.

Fast paced with great characters!. I found the main character, Gavin, to be extremely human. You want to be repulsed by him, as was Daia, but find that his core values make him someone you want to have in your life. KC May has a talent for building believable characters,as well as, a wonderful ability to tell an interesting story that is fast-paced and keeps you wanting to turn the page. I look forward to reading the next book.
