OMG!!!!! A MUST READ. I REALLY enjoy this book did not wanted it to end. A book i will never forget and will have to read again. I really like that it had the male point of view made it more AMAZING.

Awesome!!. I read all 3 books in this series within a week! It was funny, steamy, and tugged at your heartstrings as well. The perfect mix! I definitely recommend it to anyone. It blows fifty shades out of the water!

So so. Took a while to like the characters, and it ends in a major cliff hanger. "Voice" of characters should've been easier to distinguish. Still not sure if I'll buy book two.

Best romantic series!. My favorite by far! I love that Jack is just a sweet guy. A lot of series like this have a rich guy with control issues because they have a troubled dark past. No Jack. He's rich but no dark haunting past or control issues. He's just really sweet. I LOVE the duel POV through the book. Best!

Beauty in Pain series. I loved all three books in this series. They weren’t over the top mushy. I liked the unpredictability of the plot and the characters came to life in words. I was never bored and couldn’t put any of the books down. I caught myself smiling and laughed while reading some of the shenanigans of the characters. The family dynamic was wonderful. Reminded me of my hunch being the mother of four sons who were born within 5 years time. All adults in their 30’s now.

Cliff hanger ending!!!. Enjoyed this book immensely!!! It mysteriously disappeared from iBooks for months... Very well rated on Kindle!! I am glad it is now listed, so hopefully the second book will be available for my iPad, May 30th is anticipated release date...

Not a complete book. You would have to purchase the next book to get closure. I think there should have been a note to warn potential reader about this. If there was a closure at the end of the book, I would have given 4 star. However, since I've just been tricked into reading something incomplete, 3 star it is.

Well..... My review isn't going to make a huge impact. 800+ reviews with an average of 4.5 stars easily speaks for itself. Needless to say, I'll be buying the rest of the series, without a doubt. Also, I love that the playlist was included. It's got me listening to songs I haven't heard in a while, songs that are completely new to me, songs that I love, and songs that I didn't make the playlist but would've fit perfectly.

Review: Beauty #1: Beauty From Pain. Beauty from Pain by Georgia Cates is the first book in her Beauty trilogy. It's a story of vacation fling turned romance and a guy who never planned on getting serious breaking all his own rules. Jack is a rich and successful Australian winemaker. He has "arrangements" with women, a few weeks, no real names, no strings, when it's done it's done. When he spots Laurelyn at a bar he plans on having an arrangement with her too. Laurelyn is in Australia for three months taking a break from her Nashville life. When Jack approaches her with the deal she is hesitant to agree, at first. When she finally agrees to his terms it changes both of their lives - for better AND for worse.

Wonderful. It lacks a bit in originality but its well written and I love the characters. Can't wait to read the next book.

Was it anything new? No. But I really enjoyed it. Review originally posted on Reading Books Like a Boss Beauty from Pain has been on my to-read list for a LONG time. I recently went to a book signing in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was peeking around my audible account for books I haven't listened to and thought, "Hey, you should listen to this." The rest is history. I liked this book a lot! I thought it was the perfect, sweet and sexy romance for a freaking long drive. Georgia Cates, you made my boring road trip through Kansas so much more exciting. I think the synopsis does a pretty good job of summarizing what this book is about. Laurelyn Prescott is one lucky lady. When she lands in Australia she has one hot guy already pining for her (Addison's brother) and then soon after she's caught the eye of Australia's most eligible bachelor. I'm such a sucker for romances that involve a hero who is stubbornly and reluctantly in love with the heroine. In this book this is that situation TO THE MAX. In the beginning, Jack and Laurelyn agree to a purely sexual relationship. She'll be gone in three months and their fling will be over and they'll never see each other again. But ever-so-slowly, these two fall in love with each other. Jack falls in love with Laurelyn's southern charm. It seems like EVERYONE can see how much they love each other except for the hero and heroine. Jack refuses to admit to himself that Laurelyn was a game changer. Was this book predictable? Yes. Was it anything new? No. But I really enjoyed it. It kept me entertained and by the end I had to jump right into the next book. This book was pure escapism for me. I did find it to be a stretch that Laurelyn truly believed Jack didn't love her. I mean, seriously, she can't be that obtuse. But hey, I'm still going to read the next book. Audiobook Comments: I am not Australian accent connoisseur so I don't know if Robert Black's accent is very authentic. But what I do know is that it's dead sexy, so I don't really care if it's not Australian enough or sounds British or whatever. I really liked him. And I really like Bunny Warren too (is that her pen (voice?) name). I found that I could listen to Bunny's voice on 2x speed but it was difficult to understand Robert Black on 2x speed, so I had to adjust my speed to 1.5x. I don't know if it was the accent or what. If you like accents, listen to this book. If you like sexy narrators, listen to this book. If you want a fun read, read this book. :) 3 stars — Read it when you want a sexy and fun read with a rich, hot dude. Jack Henry, man.

Three month arrangement. Propositioned by a stranger. An American Girl commits to an arrangement with an Aussie guy with no pretenses for three months. The agreement is an exclusive physical relationship with a few rules. There is an age difference of seven years. They live in different countries. They are strangers. It’s an instant connection. It’s a sexually driven story. No strings attached. Narrator: Bunny Warren is the voice of Laurelyn. Laurelyn is an American with a southern accent, yet the narrator doesn’t perform with the Nashville twang I had hoped to hear. Robert Black is the voice of Jack. Jack is Australian with an Aussie accent, yet the narrator doesn’t perform with the Aussie accent I had hoped to hear. Personally, Bunny did a better performance of Jack’s voice during her narrated sections. Robert’s voice was too husky for Laurelyn’s character making her sound like a grandmother. I didn’t look forward to the chapters with Robert’s voice. I was hoping for a stronger southern accent from both narrators. This is a duel narration, yet a duet would be preferable. The audiobook didn’t measure up to what I expected. Robert Black’s voice for both characters was a disappointment. The Aussie accent wasn’t very good nor what I imagined. His tone for Laurelyn’s character wasn’t suitable for her supposed southern accent. The audiobook would have been better had Bunny performed it in its entirety. Or using a different male narrator with a duet performance would have improved the quality. I remember loving this book when I read it back in 2014. I guess my preferences and expectations have grown over the years. I remember the pole dancing scenes being extremely sexy and wanted to revisit this book based on those scenes. Instead, I found Jack’s character to be too controlling. He smothered Laurelyn. He was a jealous man. He became overprotective of her. I’m disappointed with my revisit of Beauty from Pain. I hate the comparison barbes comparing Laurelyn to the other girls. I did like all the examples of intimacy between them showing it’s more than sexual attraction. I like the comfort he shows with Laurelyn. He is thoughtful and caring towards Laurelyn. I hate this scene...Laurelyn chose not to wear panties while wearing a dress, yet she’s unconcerned about the wetness between her legs that will inevitably show from semen running down her leg onto the fabric of her dress. What’s it about a name that melts individuals upon hearing it spoken?

More Jack Henry and Laurelyn Please. Omg! This book is amazing. I couldn't put it down. I've literally haven't slept in over 27 hours lol. But it was totally worth it. Can't wait to start the next one. I highly recommend this book.

Just wow!. I saw this book just randomly looking around. I ended buying it just because. It has been a while were a book gets me emotionally involved. I don't make it a habit of giving 5 stars as a rating. I normally give a 4 if I really like it. This book deserves a 10. I was on an emotional roller coaster that I didn't want to get off. I fell hard for this story. I didn't want it to end. I had tears so big I didn't have to blink for them to fall. This book leaves you with something...even long after you read it. Loved it. I absolutely loved it. It is definitely going into my TBR again stack.

Good read. This book was good for not having too much going on and focusing on the romance between Laurelyn and Jack although it did need a little bit more in the intimate scenes as the rest of the time there isn't that much going on. I liked that it was straight forward in the sense that you knew they'd fall in love eventually and it wasn't another story with the guy having some horrible past and being all controlling in his relationships. I would like to known what happens in the next book but I don't think there's enough to make me want to actually buy the book because there's not enough depth to the story itself. I would have expected this type of book to end in a standalone novel with a happy ending.

Unexpected... Intriguing ... More.... I found this in the free book list and so glad that I did. It drew me in I love that it was set in Australia with an Australia man. This book drew out all emotions, I laughed, I cried, and I have to read the next instalment.

Exceptionally good :). From the first page I was hooked 💙❤️ The dialogues, the chemistry and the story was very sweet and interesting .... It wasn't shallow and just about Their physical relationship instead the story showed real chemistry ❤️😍 and d characterization was In depth with maturity in jacks character relevant to his age and experience :) loved laurelyn's charc.- funny, mature and sweet. Their love is strong.They think they left knowing each other but they didn't really. Left wondering if he will be able to find her or how are he tries. Can’t wait to find out if they will reconnect.if she will let herself be vulnerable again. She has endured so much & yet the people closest to her continue to take advantage of her.

Crap. 1300 pages and the story cuts off without an ending. You should warn readers that this is part one of a story. I'd have purchased if I'd known before reading all of that. I'll never purchase your work now

Wow and awesome writing. The story is well explain it's relationship expectation to begin with. What happens in each chapters kept you intense. Romance and erotic words emphasize clearly. One of my best top 10 ePub. The book states "book1" so expect a continuation.
