Helpful. Using the suggested outline for prayers in behalf of others is very helpful, the faithful and thankful approach taught is refreshing in comparison to simply hopefully making a list of desires. Philippians 4:6 reminds us to make our request known faithfully thanking as though it has already been answered

Intercessory prayer. It gave good ideas to keep in mind just disagree that we must create emotion for prayer to be effective.

Intercessory prayer. This is a quick and easily understood formula for effective fervent prayers on behalf of others. The simple premise of thanking GOD for having already answered your desire for the others happiness, health, or finances and attaching your truly felt emotional attachment to the prayer shows the ease and yet awe it takes to be effective.

Not enough of God's will.... This book states that by "asking" God for things it shows our doubt and will result in unanswered prayer. This is contradictory to many scriptures. Also, it suggests that a formula is required to get God to act on your behalf, as if He is a genie of some sorts that can be manipulated by man's will. Not a good book on prayer.

Good Info, but..... The Bible says specifically to Ask and it shall be given unto you, Seek and you shall find, Knock and it shall be opened. So, I beg to differ that asking means we are doubting. Asking is a form of respect as well, just as we ask our natural parents for things. I'm not familiar with associating my emotions with anything other than myself and how certain things made me feel or how they would make God feel and that would drive my specific prayers. Overall, I see and understand the point made.
