The Bride Wore Blue by Cheryl Bolen Book Summary

For six long years Thomas Moreland has dreamed of the beautiful young noblewoman who rescued him from death. While amassing his fortune in India, not a day passed he did not recall Felicity's fair loveliness, did not recall the silken tones of her sweet voice, did not desire to possess her.

Now a widow, Felicity Harrison does not recognize the handsome nabob as the young man left for dead by highwayman years earlier. Though she wants nothing more than to snub the arrogant man who promises to rescue her family from financial ruin in exchange for presenting his sister to Society, she cannot snub him. She must force herself to bear his company. But the longer she is with him, the more she has to force herself to remain true to her dead husband's memory. Why is it the humbly born Thomas Moreland possesses more nobility that any man of her class? And why is it she finds it harder and harder to mourn a dead man when Thomas's virility awakens her deepest desires?

The Bride Wore Blue. I really did enjoy reading this book. I have to agree with other reviews that it lost some of its steam after the ruins. The ending was not too terribly romantic but I did enjoy Thomas as the hero. Felicity made you want to shake her with her stupidity especially when she vowed revenge just because she thought he was repaying her for her kindness after saving his life and not really interested in her romantically. I would definitely recommend reading this book and I look forward to reading about Glee in the next book!

The bride wore blue. Loved the book! With all its mistrust, love, and a mad man!

Lazy writing. Stereotypes abound—the Italian dancing master who smells like garlic; physical disability used to telegraph wickedness (it doesn’t matter if wounds are self-inflicted). Both the hero and the villain engage in stalker behavior. Plot points based around the female lead character feeling ashamed acting on her sexual desire. I will not be purchasing this author’s work again.

The bride wore blue. A nice easy story. Enjoyed it very much.

The Bride Wore Blue. Wonderful story! Loved it.

Well written. This book was well written and a very good read. The plot and story kept me turning pages!

Rather pleasant read. Though the characters were either completely good or completely bad I enjoyed spending some time with them

The Bride wore Blue. Great read!

Lousy. Just not very good writing. Too much dithering, no e edgy, felicity is a widget

Good Read!. I thought the storyline was strong and the characters compelling. The romantic leads had strong chemistry and I also found the villain to be complex and dastardly. Definitely worth reading!

Loved it. Great book to read in the evening before bed.

The Bride Wore Blue. This book is boring. The storyline is somewhat interesting but a lot of it just lacks common sense. Not enough back story here. And There’s no chemistry between the main characters. Didn’t like it and won’t read the other books

Surprisingly good. I was surprised at how well I loved it as soon as I started reading it. Perfect amount of charm, romance, and action. Looking forward to reading book 2.

The Bride Wore Blue. Action, suspense and love.

Great!. I finished this book in one day because I couldn't put it down. There are parts in the book where you want yell at the characters to open their eyes and there times when you want to cry with them. If you like romance and drama, this is it for you!

The Bride Wore Blue. Well written, entertaining, & an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. This is my first book by this author & I will definitely read her again. The story flowed smoothly & unlike some other authors she didn't overdo town descriptions or scenes. The characters very likable & the story kept me at it.

Delightful. Utterly charming without being smutty at all.

The Bride Wore Blue. Loved it can't wait to read the next installment!

Perfect Balance!. Loved this book! Usually this time era is written very stuffy and I get fed up with it, this author had the perfect balance and I truly enjoyed the characters and story! Will read more!

The Bride Wore Blue. Enjoyable read however the heroines behaviour at times was somewhat inconsistent with her experience.

Romance. What a beautifully written romantic story. A must read. Is nice the evil got his justice.

It was the perfect title for the book. I throughly enjoyed reading this book. It was very well written.

Waste of time.. The storyline drags on and on. Felicity doesn’t have any logical thoughts. Waste of time.
