Corktown by Ty Hutchinson Book Summary

They locked him up seven years ago. He’s still killing.

Executives from Detroit’s automakers are being mutilated, and all signs point to a serial killer known as the Doctor. But there’s a problem with that. Detroit Police put him away a long time ago.

Fiery FBI agent Abby Kane is tasked with figuring out how this madman can kill again. When she visits the Doctor behind bars, he swears he’s innocent and not the psychopath everyone thinks he is. Oddly enough, Abby believes him.

To prove the Doctor’s innocence, Abby investigates the case that put him behind bars and discovers evidence of a cover-up. She soon finds herself marked as enemy number one by the city’s power players. Even the executives who are being targeted by the killer want her silenced. The pressure only intensifies when Abby believes the real killer is connected to the automakers. Can Abby untangle the web of lies before she’s silenced for good?

If you like Patterson, Cornwell, and Baldacci, you’ll love the equally thrilling and highly addictive Abby Kane series.

Meet Abby Kane
She spent her early career putting sickos, psychopaths, and ruthless killers behind bars. After her husband's mysterious death, Abby moved her family to San Francisco, hoping for a fresh start and healing. What she got instead was a job with the FBI and a directive to solve their most baffling cases.

Corktown. Always great reading from T. Hutchinson. Great twisting plot keeps you riveted.

Wasn’t finished reading. When I was asked to pay again after iBooks crashed, AGAIN, like is does several times while using. Perhaps I should have gone with a Kindle after all. Hope to finish but I’m not going to pay for a book I already had.

Cork town. This book was really great to read. Thank you for writing it!!!!!

MAJOR PAGE-TURNER. I’m normally not one to simply read for fun. But, I could not stop reading Corktown. I flew through the book like I was watching a Movie!

Cork Town. Another action packed thrilled by Ty Hutchinson. I love his main character, Abby. Maybe she isn’t perfect, but darn close to it. This author has a way of pulling you in and simply doesn’t let go. Can you say “hooked”!!

Corktown. All in all an interesting story, but Abby Kane is a misfit, nasty, and what’s with everyone always getting on her nerves. She always wants to punch someone. And when a Bimbo who introduces herself in a narcissistic manor to someone she expects to answer her questions of course they don’t want. This character has absolutely no redeeming characteristics, looks like FBI are a bunch of bullies and idiots, which, for the most part, they are not. Like the story, not lead as is.

Cork Town. Cork town is a fast pace, page turning read! The presumed twists and turns were different than imagined. Enjoy this great creation!

Suspensful even knowing the killer. Although you’re told who the killer is, it still left you guessing what will happen next. Decently written, the ending could’ve been more, and too many people died. But great book!!

Poor. Cross a poor thriller with a “trying to hard” exotic R rated script and you get this silliness.

Corktown. This is the first book I’ve ever read on a device and coincidentally my first thriller. I was hooked. The storyline and characters comedic’s seemed overdrawn at times, but I didn’t let it bother me and enjoyed the story for what it is. It took just a couple days to read through which is quick for me. I feel like this book really works in digital format it’s light, entertaining and putting aside the grotesque elements of many situations a fun read. TY

Thrilled. A great book that keep me reading, without those pauses that you come to expect with a regular read.

Corktown. Awesome read from beginning to end. I love these books. Always so much going on in murder, investigation and feelings. A definite must read

Corktown. Very good story. Enthralling with twists and turns, some heartbreak and surprises. Heroine is a bit different but very intriguing

Fantastic.. A new author for me, but I certainly wasn’t disappointed. The story is fast paced and exciting, with excellent characterisation. I couldn’t put the book down and have already got the next one in the series lined up.

Amazing. The book is great . From start to finish their was not one part without something happening. Although I would have preferred if Wilkinson have lived as it would have made a better story , the fact she ended up all alone made things more hectic. All in all very good read !

Corktown. This was a great book. FBI agent gets sent to Detroit to solve what looks like a serial killer murder. Finds a conspiracy, loses a friend or two. Main protagonist was very easy to attach to, the city told a story of its own, and the story just kept building with no respite. A great thriller 5/5

Great plot and even better characters,. This is the first Abby Kane thriller I have read and I enjoyed it nearly as much as the Sei assassin series. The plot is great, the characters are even better and the procedural details are excellent. I will definitely be reading more of this series.

Top Notch. This is the second of this author’s books I have read. The storyline is enthralling and easy to follow. Agent Kane is now one of my favourite protagonists and I will gladly take on her next case with her.

Brilliant Read. Wow, I was enthralled from the first page to the last. Plenty of action and suspense with a very interesting and out of the blue twist at the end. Loved Abby as the main character. A great suspense story that kept me interested the whole way through. A story very well written by Ty Hutchinson, I enjoyed it thoroughly.
