I'm hooked on Rose!. Excellent! One name: Neely Kate. LOVE THIS BOOK! Rose continues to emerge from her shell and reinvent herself in the second book of the Rose Gardner mystery series. At jury duty, she meets her new BFF, Neely Kate and they are a force to be reckoned with. I can’t wait to read the next book and see where their adventures take them.

Twenty nine reasons. I loved the story, fast reading eye candy. Could not put it down. Can’t wait for next one.

Great fun with heart. This is the second book in this series and I just want to say how much I love it! Denise brings us great characters that we can care about and then lets us peak into their lives and watch them grow/!

Great Sequel!. I wasn't exactly sure how you can put another mystery after what happened in the first book into a following novel. But after reading it, the suspense was great, and the novel does make you feel specific emotions during certain happenings throughout if you are attached to the characters! I will say, not AS great as the first one, but it's still really good! I'm excited to start on the third in the series now! My second E-BOOK I've read so far (being the first book of this series being my first read, electronically), I am very happy and glad that I chose this series to start off my eBook collection! I love it! I recommend for an easy, simple read, that has you in suspicion throughout, feeling the love between the main character and her lover, and a perfect little read in general of suspense, romance, mystery, chaos, and some comedy. :) Hope others agree and enjoy also!

Astonishing!!. This book completely swept me off my feet, after reading twenty eight and a half wishes I didn't think I could love another book as much as that book but this became my favorite book!! Rose meets so many important people in this book that will be in her life throughout the rose series and the characters are so well developed it is astonishing! Yet another amazing book by Denise Grover swank!!!

Perfect. I love this series! Love the author I've just about read everyone of her books. I have never been much of a reader but I got ahold of the rose gardner series just browsing on iBooks and it lead me to read every single book in the series in 2 weeks. Then I read a lot of other books by Denise and I can never put them down. Definitely would recommend any of her boos.

Woohoo Book 2!. The second installment of the Rose Gardner Mysteries was even better than the first! I love the introduction of new characters - Neely Kate is everything I want in a chance encounter turned best friend!! We also see some incredible personal growth from Rose as she navigates her new life of freedom though Violet is struggling with this new side of her sister. All in all it’s the same fantastic writing and creative story telling that I loved in the first book, continued, and just made better!

Love this series!. Love this series! It's different from anything I've read

Ehhh... First book was cute but this one just seemed tooo far fetched. The trouble the main character kept getter herself into for her naïveté was beyond motion picture . Annoying to say the least.. I stopped reading numerous times because some things were so avoidable .I won't discount that it is indeed a cute love story but ehhhh...

Amazing!!!. I loveeee this series! As I'm reading, I'm picturing the characters. Emma stone is rose, Ryan Gosling is Joe (they're so perfect for this ;-) ) and violet is Anne Camp (the blonde from pitch perfect...the one who throws up in the performance) I'm on to the 3rd book already. Cannot put this down. I love you !!!!

Loved it then didn't. When I first started the first book I was so involved. I loved the characters and I loved the story line. Then I bought the second one and I was into it and I was loving it. Towards the middle I got bored and felt it was repetitive in the main characters actions. And the story kind of felt like it dragged on. Finally towards the end I was into it. I wanted to read more I was excited. That portion in the ending chapters is what I was looking for in this book. So when I finish it I was ready for the third. So I went looking to see how many books there where and of course how much. This is what got me, if the story line got boring for me I knew that if the rest of the books end up being like this I will never finish them. It took me a year with book 2 because I got bored with it till the end. So then I saw the price and I knew then I will not be continuing the story. I'm the kind of girl who will read 3-4 large books with a lot of pages then a small book that end up being like 12-13 novels long. So I think for that I still gave. Good rating considering I got bored with the storyline. I mainly gave it 4 ⭐️ because I loved the first book and the characters. So that's my review of this book. :)

Twenty Nine and a Half Reasons. I love the quirkiness of this romantic mystery. I only gave it 4 stars because I do not enjoy seeing the use of profanity especially GD. Not necessary.

Great sequel. It's hard to find a series that just keeps getting better! Absolutely love that Rose Gardner is evolving into a force to be reckoned with right before our eyes. Love the new characters as well, keeps the series interesting and full of unexpected twists 😊

Getting silly. The first book was so good that I could not wait to read this one. It was good, but it's getting silly and Roses antics are almost bordering on annoying. I guess I fell in love with her a little in book one, her transformation was believable. Not in this one, she is not the same character. I will give the third a try, but feel like the unbelievable silliness, and the editing mistakes, it will be my last with this author.

Twenty-Nine + reasons to read it!. Yet another book Denise wrote that swept me off of my feet and pulled me into another world. How she does it is a mystery, but I hope she never stops! When you read a novel by Denise Grover Swank, you feel the characters' emotions and experience their roller coaster lives right alongside them. Rosie's story is no different, and you can't help but love her. Joe is most certainly correct in saying Rose seems to be in the midst of some form of chaos at all times. She's a magnet for trouble. I love the spunk that Rose develops as the series progresses. She was never meant to be a wallflower. This sassy girl has been waiting to burst out of the shell she survived in for so many years, and I can't hardly wait to see where she ends up next!

AMAZING!. I found these books by accident, the first one was free, so I decided to read it. I am hooked! These books are so amazing I sit and read them for hours! I purchased the whole series right after finishing the first book! PLEASE KEEP THIS SERIES GOING!

Fun and not too scary!!. I love the Rose Gardner mysteries, and all the wonderful things about living in a small southern town where nothing exciting happens until the a tornado named Rose manages to find trouble!! Great, fun mystery, and a love story!! Crappy doodles are my most favorite curse words - just the right words for certain situations!! Rose is truly growing up right before my eyes!!

Loved it. The Second book in The Rose Gardner series is a wonderful sequel. It continues of adventures of our Favorite amateur detective Rose! We learned in 28 that Rose is as the gift having visons of the future. As we learned in the 28 that they are not always convenient and almost always get her in trouble. In 29, Rose has her first boyfriend, Joe (her hunky neighbor). We learned Joe is an undercover state trooper who lives in Little Rock. I loved seeing Rose grow in this book. She is finally free of her controlling and abusive mother and she is starting to find our who she is and what she really wants out of life. Of course with any change, comes uncomfortableness. We see not only Rose struggle to become comfortable in her own skin, but we see Rose's sister struggle with letting Rose grow up. Violet still wants to play mama bear and protect and control Rose. This causes friction with Rose and in her relationship with Joe. We also introduced to the awesomeness tha tis Neely Kate. Rose meets her friend soul-mate during jury duty and lets just say Fenton County will never be the same when these two become friends. Through out this book we see Rose form new relationships with the citzens of Fenton County. People who she will need to rely on or help. This of course causes some strain in her relationship with Joe as he feels left out and unable to protect Rose.

Homophones are a 2nd grade standard.... I love the books in the series, but the typos drive me crazy! Self editing is not working for her... The use of their instead of they're, the use of to instead of too... Come on! We teach that in 2nd grade... But, if you can make it past the incorrect use of the homophones & typos, the story line is playful, energetic, & sometimes edge of your seat good.

Love this series!!. This is the second book in the Rose Gardner Mystery Series and is a terrific follow up. I highly recommend this series and all of Denise Grover Swank's books to everyone. It has romance, wit and humor, but actually tells a great story. Rose is growing and becoming a stronger person in this book. I love watching her evolve. A Must read

Great story!!. I started reading he series two days ago and I can't stop. Love the way is written and the characters. I also love that I could not predict the ending. I gave it four stars because I felt the first book was a littlest better. Nevertheless, I do want to continue reading the series and I expect that Rose and Joe can figure it out.

Second on the series!. I enjoyed this one as much as the first but feel that I know the characters well enough to know what is coming next so won't be reading another. That said a good 'lite bite' but felling the need for a 'good square meal' next!

In this book we see rose and Joe`s relationship develop and whilst rose is on jury duty she ends up getting into more scrapes. Now onto the third as I am officially addicted to Rose Gardner and antics!!

Love these books. From the very first pages I've been hooked to these books. They are cleverly written with enough twists and turns to keep you turning those pages. They are hard to put down once I start reading. The characters start to feel like old friends and it's a pleasure to dip into their lives. I love seeing the friendships build between Rose and the other characters and would love a friend like Neely Kate. I've read the books back to back and am eagerly awaiting the next one.

I read the first book in this series and absolutely couldn't put it down it was riveting and so I purchased this book and I hate to say it was expecting to be the same but how wrong was I, I just read and read absolutely sucked into the drama of it all, I absolutely loved it and I'm looking forward to reading the next one! A must read. Could not put this down. Have read the 1st four books in a week... Only am I now trying to slow down cause I don't want or get to the end of the series!!!

29 & 1/2 reasons. Enjoyed this book very much. Good plot lines and loving the new characters. Rose just keeps getting more and more into trouble which makes her a lovely character and how she uses her wits to get out of it with a little help from the heroes who we know will always save her.

Captivating!. I could not put the book down! The series is amazing. Rose's world is growing, new important characters have been added. I cant wait to see how her new relationships develop in the next book. I really enjoyed the story line. Much like the last book, trouble follows rose. Despite this being a similar situation to the first book, the story line is so different. I cant wait to find out what happens next.
