Couldn't put the book down even if I wanted to!. This is my first review ever and I never felt like doing a review on any book I have read...save this one. I had an accident with my hands when I was almost 16 and lost a portion of my fingers and have partial numbness in others...6 surgeries and various skin grafts together, the road to recovery was a long one...this book nailed down every fear, frustration, anger and acceptance that I felt in the months after my accident...Keary,'please write a sequel! You have a rare gift. Thank you for sharing that gift with us through this book!

Touched! Must read. This book teaches you a lesson. And I advise teens/ young adults or anyone who is going through a hard time in their life to take the time and read this book. You just might learn something, I know I have. This book is an eye opener... While reading it I was very emotional. I learned that life doesn't always play fair. Things happen and you either wallow in pity or live with it and learn from it. I felt jakes pain, I can't imagine not speaking for the rest of my life. I learned that you can't them things for granted. You have to seize the moment and take the risk for its to let and you end up regretting it. You'll forever be stuck in the "what ifs".

Emotional. This book was different than most of the contemporary love stories. The characters were well developed and I was emotionally invested in their lives. Congratulations to Keary Taylor for writing such an engaging tale.

Amazing one <3 :'). I've been reading different books of love, but this one was very different from the others. It has a great message for everyone to appreciate what we have in life no matter the problems we could get, AND to take the right choises even in the worst moments. I can say I loved the book A LOT. Heart warming.. Tragic story with a few twists and turns. Tugs at the heart strings if you let it. Proves that love conquers all.

What I didn't say. I am nearly 22 years old, in university an never actually read a full book until now. I started to read this book, thinking it would be like many more before, after a few chapters I would be bored, fed up and loose interest. Instead I couldn't put it down I read it within two days even though working these two last days have been 12 hour shifts (blaming the author for my tiredness right now- haha)! Amazing, and so touching I felt a relation to jake an Samantha as I see so much training to be a nurse. Thank you for a great read on my first book.
