Hmmmm. The authors ability to paint a screen with her words is amazing. But I couldn’t give this no more than 3 stars. There was more internal dialogue than actual interactions. I found myself scrolling (reading on my iPhone) through a lot until I saw the quotes. However this isn’t my first book from the author. I throughly enjoyed the WAGs series. Which came out after this book.

Great story!!!. Loved it! What a great story. I couldn't put it down. Sexy attorney, Malachim Jerrod and his new paralegal, Danielle Warren start out as employer and employee but quickly turn in to so much more. Looks can be deceiving because Danielle is a little more than a paralegal, she is actually attorney, Elena Rainier. Circumstances have forced her to change her identity but the past catches up to her eventually. This story is full of mystery, intrigue, deception, lies, friendship, love, and loyalty. There are some unexpected plot twists. This was just an all-around great story from beginning to end. I definitely look forward to reading more from this author. Naima Simone has a certain style of writing that draws you into the story and doesn't let you go until the last page and leaves you wanting more.

Ok read, confusing at times. I enjoyed the mystery component of this book, however it found it rambled a bit which created some confusion. Some sweet romance, after some dreadful domestic violence at the hands of another.

Page turner. Beautiful plot and twist. Highly recommended
