Refreshing break from werewolves and vampires. Great imaginative YA read! Didn't expect the initial plot twist at all. The female heroine is relatable and real. Definitely worth the read!

No surprises. The book is completely predictable and I had to try hard not to cringe at how terrible the main character is. She has no sense of self worth and her confidence is solely based on the affections of a guy. And her best friends do nothing to help guid the story along or make you like them they are just there to talk about the same guy over and over again "tell us everything!!!" They gush and only for the main character to lie and brush it off.

Amazing!. Reading Starstruck left me Starstruck in a sense.... It was amazing! The book pulled me in, and it was hard to stop reading it. It's definitely one of the best books I've read so far. I recommend it to those 12 and up. It's a very sweet yet adventure packed book that lets you know that no matter what, things can change for the better.

Love at first read!. This series is amazing! I’ve devoured these books since I found the first one for free. Brenda is an amazing writer, she captures emotions we can all relate to. And she gives it that special sci-fi spark ✨

Ok.... I enjoyed reading the first part of the book... until he said he was a Martian. I mean, a great plot-twist, and I didn't expect it to happen, but I became less interested. I don't know, maybe I just don't like Sci-fi, but it became complicated and it just became difficult to follow thorough the book. Again, this book was very creative and well-written, and good job Brenda Hiatt.

THIS IS WONDERFUL. at first i was a little skeptical about continuing the book when the announced that the main characters had been related to a martian and mars and outer space topic but i took the change to finish and i ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS BOOK! it has some beautiful scenes along with some action and it’s just... AH ITS SUCH A GOOD BOOK! it’s not inappropriate and if this became a movie i would be the happiest person ever!!! definitely recommend this book and the series A MUST READ THRILLING ROMANTIC BOOK

StarStruck! Great Fun Story by Cincy Kid 68!. Well worth the read, with an interesting twist to our closest planet. This author has an exceptional imagination and keeps the suspense moving t/o the book. If there was ever a truly MUST READ this is is the book. An incredible start to an outstanding series. Teen Sci Fi. Interesting premise but lost me in teen drama

I loved it. I’m big for YA, teen books. I can never grow out of those. And this book had me on my toes constantly. At first I thought oh wow this is heading in one direction and I like it. And then boom plot twist as to what I was actually expecting. Still was on a similar path though. Gets you at that. The book was an easy read. Not hard to keep track with if you put it down for a few hours. 1-2 words that made me question my vocabulary but only further expanded it. Can’t wait to get started on book two. Bought it just as I was on the last 10 pages. The ending is like okay I can end this book here if I don’t continue to read it. Cuz it comes to a full “close” for certain things. Doesn’t leave a cliff hanger on the romance part of it all. But it does for the rest of it!

Love Can Overcome Anything. The romance in this book is amazing! Really edge of your seat type action as well!

I really Enjoyed this story. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. Next month I will purchase the next volume.

Great read!!!. I bought this book after seeing the cover on Smashwords. The cover totally sold me, what I liked about the story is it is good I'd say for twelve and up. Other teens books like this say twelve and up but get REALLY mature. This is enjoyable for any age from the youngest to the oldest. (I'm in my mid twenties) The writing is great, my mind could easily relate to the characters and their world. I give this one five stars. :-)

Great story. I really liked this story. This is one that will stay with me for a while. I expect that when I finish the series, I'll return to read it again. Thank you, Brenda Hiatt, for writing this. This is a story about a normal, relatable teen girl discovering her grand heritage. It's a love story between Marsha, who is struggling to survive high school and Rigel who helps her to discover who she really is. And it turns out that she's much more than your average high school girl. I think the reason I liked the story so much is that it parallels the story of every one of us. It's our dream to be something more than we currently are. To me, Rigel represents the role Jesus Christ played in my life. He sought after me and revealed to me that my worth and value are exceedingly beyond what I had previously thought.

Perfect if you want a bit of a cliché. I personally love the small bits of expected romantic events and then the unexpected bits that ensnare you in this fantastically bizarre tale of a Martian princess and her prince. Honestly 10 out of 10 would recommend. Hope to read the others in the series soon.

Loved it!!!. I absolutely loved the suspense involving the characters relationships every time I thought I knew for certain that something was going to happen it through mean completely the opposite direction it was fantastic to not know what was happening next to be surprised and truly engrossed in a book I haven't had that in a long time and I was deeply impressed. I can't wait to read the next books in this saga!

Ok. Worth a read..

Anybody have a spare Backbone?. The first 7/8ths of the book I thought was a great role model for today's youth: ones beingness totally dependent on what others think of you, lying to parents to protect lack of self worth, and simply being a polite wimp and not jumping down the throats of those who were denying her critical information. On the bright side, at least the author didn't bring in sex, drugs and rock&roll to 'fix' the lame characters. The plot had some interesting, if not easily predictable sections. I just got real tired of our heroine looking for something else to make her life ok, instead of simply growing a pair, and kicking some butt..

Five stars!. This book was life changing really. It's not your typical Sci-Fi book, but has some twists and turns. Great book for most ages- as long as you can comprehend well enough. Thanks!

One of the best books I read. This book is amazing! I will say that this book is definitely for 12 years and up. Though this book is not real,it is filled with a lot of surprises and amazement. I think this book would be a great start for fiction sci fi. I will have to admit that the author of this book used great detail and put all of these words and sentences in the right place. I wish I could read it over and over, but I am to busy reading the next book Starcrissed!!!! Read this book and you will like it!

Good, not great. Interesting story idea but the teen drama was a bit much. Still, I have downloaded the next in the series to see where the story goes from here.

Star struck. Read this, and surprise! I loved it. Was expecting your usual teenage drama and not much else. Well yes there was some but it in no way consumed the storyline. The main plot kept you guessing right to the end and held your interest. I highly recommend this book to all ages.
