5 Heartbreaking Stars. 30 and half excuses is the book that broke my heart and ripped it out for good measure. expect some tears when this one ends. Rose has learned that her boyfriend Joe has been keeping a huge secret. Joe is not some police officer from Little Rock, but a Simmons and son to the most powerful and richest man in all of Arkansas. Rose is nervous that this will put a wrench in her relationship with Joe, but Joe naively feels he can keep his two worlds separate. Not only is Rose dealing with Joe family she also learns that her new friends Mason also has a connection with Joe, that once again shows Rose that Joe is not all he claims to be. Not only does Rose have to deal with her love life, there is a murder on the lose and Rose's visions have once again put her in danger. As danger and trust collide, Rose will not only have to fight for her life, but she will have to fight for a love she never thought she could have. But Rose learns sometimes love is not enough.

Three books in three days, new record. Let's just say it was a great book. But sadly this time I was able to tell who the murderer was from the beginning. Also I kind of figure it out what was going to happen between Rose and Joe. So in that end it was a little predictable (3 stars). Nevertheless I'm looking forward to read the the sequel and I'm definitely curious to see how the story ends.

Love it!!. Yet another amazing addition to the rose Gardner series! I am completely hooked, I have highlighted so many areas of this book that I absolutely am in love with!! Go Denise!!

Thirty and a Half Reasons. It has been a very long time since a character in a book made me cry. I came across these Rose Gardner books by accident, read the first because it was about southern Arkansas (I live in Chicot County) and got hooked. I can't wait for next month to arrive so I can find out what happens next. Keep them coming, please!

Augh. I was looking forward to this book. Though the story line itself is good there are a lot of mistakes. But I was a bit disappointed with some of it dragging on.

Yippee Book 3!. Again, another book that’s knocked out of the park by Denise Grover Swank! I cannot get enough of Rose and Co! In this installment I think we see a new side of Rose, a less “goody” side. She opens up a bit more and let’s herself be more vulnerable to the readers. We are again introduced to some new characters and the author does a great job of making me suspicious about everyone - guilty until proven innocent in this world! Pastors and old ladies get no mercy either! This book has everything you’ve come to love about Rose - Mystery, romance, drama. Denise is so creative and I can’t wait to read what she comes up with next!

Amazing!. Can't put into words how much I love this series! I read the whole available series and just can't hold on any longer until the 6th book in the series comes out!!!! I hope there's more than just six!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. This series is ok. It's hard not to like Rose. My only problem is the size of the books and the fact that each book gets a little more ridiculous and unbelievable. I get that books are make believe......but for me they should be semi believable. However with that being said this author is good at writing and pulling you into the story so you keep reading.....no matter how absurd. I will read the next book. Also I'm not sure if it's because it's in electronic format or not but there are a lot of errors in these books and even though you can figure out what's meant......it is still very frustrating........maybe she needs a better editor. Anyway if you're thinking about starting the series I would suggest reading the first book and then if you like it keep going. It's ok.

Intriguing!. There are not enough good things to say about these books. Worth every penny, interesting and captivating.

A must read!!!. Please do yourself a huge favor and read this while series, you will thank yourself in the end!!!! Rose seems to always get into things with out even trying! You will look forward to what is going to happen to her next!!!

AHHHH AMAZING. A MUST READ! This Rose mystery series is BY FAR my favorite book series! At the end, I was sad to see it at the end of the book, left with so many things happening to Rose. Can't wait for the new book coming in January! Keep them coming! 💕

Just wow!. An Emotional Roller Coaster! I love seeing how Rose is continuing to grow and become a stronger person. I was heartbroken for Rose at the end of the novel, but am grateful she has a best friend and a new independence that will help her survive. As I was going through a range of emotions, I realized the skill Denise has a writer to make her characters come alive so the reader experiences the emotions along with them. Another great installment in the series.

I wish they lived happily ever after. Great book! I loved this story, but the ending made me sad!

My heart in 30 pieces!. Rosie's penchant for trouble follows her right into book 3. How can you not love Rose? Despite wanting to please Joe, she is drawn to do what is right; especially for those who seem to need someone to advocate for them. Poor Rose never has a chance to relax before the next debacle knocks the breath out of her. Beautifully resilient Rose, however, has a way of shining brightly enough to hold out until help arrives. The savior she wants is Joe … so why does Mason always seem to be one step ahead of him? My heart was in my throat as I finished the last chapter. I was so engrossed in the last scene I didn't even realize I was so close to the end. I am here for the duration as Rose continues her journey towards all of the happiness she deserves! Thank you, Denise, for letting us get to know Rose. It's time to go have a heart consoling cup of coffee in my Crappy Doodles mug!

Oh Em Gee!!!!. Wow. I'm really sad at the ending but I'm looking forward to things looking up for Rose! Keep them coming!!!! I truly love Roses adventures and want more!

Third one still as strong. For Mason lovers this instalment ratchets up the tension between him and Joe. The pace is just as gripping as the previous too so if you liked them you'll love this.

Can't stop reading. I hope this books go on forever I can cope with an end!

OMG heartbreak. Wow the ending was heartbreaking! I got that into it I actually felt like I was a part of Rose and joes relationship! I felt so emotional towards the end! Best in the series ive read so far.

Devoured in 1 sitting!!. Had to write a review as I'm still thinking about the plot of these books!! Whilst there are different mysteries to be solved in each book, the character subplots that accompany the books are amazing! Cannot wait until January for my next fix of Rose Gardner's chaotic life..

Aweesooomeee. I cannot wait for the next book on Jan 9th I'm rooting for mason & rose, or rason😂 bit sad that Joe left, but who knows what the next book will bring!

Relationship changers. This is the third story in the rose Gardner mysteries and the relationship changes between rose and Joe but develops between rose and mason whilst trying to save another person from being wrongly suspected of a crime. The last chapters have messed with my emotions and I just have to read the novella to balance me emotionally!

Thirty and a half excuses. My god this series of books is fantastic. I love Rose and the rest of the crew along the way. I get to the end of each book gutted to be finishing it only to find there is another! Roll on more Rose Gardner books.. I love em!

No Comment is right- this series is great!!. I bought all of the Rose Gardner mysteries and I heart the spot on psychology, witty internal dialogue of our protagonist, Rose (“Oh, crappydoodles!!”) and the mysteries with a twist. I’m not a big romance fan and at times this series walks the line for me, but I gloss over any annoyance because the writing style is flawless and stays true to the characters involved. And one cannot help but to read on and see what our poor Rose is going to get into next.. :) Recommended++

Chapter missing. Chapter 21 is duplicated and 22 is missing. What kind of crap is that!

Cliff hanger. As rose continues to grow, as a person, her story unfolds. This book is so well wrote. As with the last rose mystery books, you continue to love the characters and they gain more depth. If you haven't read any of the previous books, please do, its well worth it. The ending was emotional and raw, i cant wait to see what comes next!
