Inspirational. I absolutely LOVE this book, I read it at least twice a year as a reminder. Girl Boss is an inspiration for all women regardless of your career goals. Sophia reassures us all that anyone can make their dreams come true as long as you believe in them and work towards them.

Inspired. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Even though I am a guy, I still felt as if I can relate to everything she said. One thing that made this book great was that i could really hear her voice through the entire thing. It sounded just like her and I felt as if i was talking to her face to face.

Great Buy... Even for a #GuyBoss. Such an inspirational read! I enjoyed Sophia's honest and to-the-point approach. This is a female entrepreneur's dream book. Don't hesitate to make this purchase. If it doesn't change your life, it at least offers new perspectives.

Fascinating. How fascinating to read about contradictory philosophies meeting at one point and resulting in a fashion empire that beats the odds and continues to grow in a world of fast fashion and overwhelming ever changing styles. A completely new generation rejecting and accepting the very basic principles of capitalism and consumerism. How to believe and be yourself in a world were individualism seems to be one selfie away.

Shameless copycat. I cannot believe someone like her who steals and knock-off others' designs is in any way considered an expert to look up to. If it's a book it's called plagiarism.

Inspiring!. #Girlboss was an amazingly inspiring read! There was nothing preachy about her tone and everything she spoke of was from personal experience. I would recommend this to parents with feisty, strong willed daughters that don't follow the norm. Sophia is the perfect role model for them!

Liked it, not what I expected. I chose this book for my book club, we are all in our mid 30s and as I started reading through it I knew it would inspire some of my friends but to most it would seem a bit childish at times. I really enjoyed the first 4 chapters where I could really see Sophia's passion at the beginning of her career with Nasty Gal, I found her passion for quality very inspiring.

I feel so BOSSY!. #GIRLBOSS is a really good read for any inspiring #GIRLBOSSES to Boss UP! It was a reality check and it also humbles you. I enjoyed this book and will pass it along to my friends.

Must read. #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso This is a wise and fun read. I loved it myself, now 66 years old, but mostly I recommend it to my young friends, those who are 'starting out' in adult life. Written by a savvy and vastly successful entrepreneur in the fashion world, her wisdom works for whatever you wish to do/become. Sassy punk tone for very inspiring ideals. You will love it.

Not what I expected. I thought this was more of a self-help learning tips on how to run a successful business type of book. It’s more of an autobiography.

Holy F**k #Amazing. I was so inspired after reading #GirlBoss I was instantly implementing changes in myself as well as my business. Something that I had done with instant results was how I wrote my craigslist ads for employees. Before I would do it the standard bullet point way but after a few tips from #GirlBoss I created an ad that allowed the reader to know what kind of culture they would be applying for and make them want it. It made hiring so much easier and brought out some creative people! Huge fan of this book and I have been recommending it to all my fellow #GirlBosses

Inspiring. Loved reading this book. It's real, well written, funny and made me excited to be a #GIRLBOSS. If you have a vision for your career jump on in. If you have love and passion for what you do then skies the limit.

Relatable. I will say that the author can come off quite repetitive and boastful (I found myself thinking “ok ok we get it” a number of times,) but there is definitely a lot to learn here. I believe that anyone can relate to and learn something from this book. It covers everything from getting and keeping a job to starting and maintaing a business. It is an inspirational book that’ll make you want to get up and do something!

Lather, rinse, repeat.... Over and over and over.. I concur with other reviewers who stated that the first few chapters were fun- there is some interesting biographical information, and certainly the story of how her business grew is compelling. But as others have noted, a nice magazine article could handily cover that. The rest of the book is the same thing over and over and over- what a maverick she is, how successful she is, how she never had any help or followed any advice, how awesome her employees think she is- frankly it just gets boring, and there is no further insight to be had. I wish I had just read her interviews and skipped buying the book.

#girlboss all day everyday. This is such an interesting and inspiring book. The fact that Nasty Gal started as a small little website and became a huge and successful business is crazy! It is inspiring me to keep working hard. If I say least work for something I am more likely to get it than just wishing for it. This book is truly very inspiring.

Unoriginal. This book is ridiculous the author is so full of her self not inspiring at all had high hopes for this book very disappointing. And to top it off he author herself is a terrible person in real life and is currently trying to sue every other company that has trademarked the name girl boss. And she’s getting away with it by making people rebrand or pay $50,000-100,000 to go to court for a name that they have already trademarked. In her book she is all about inspiring women and girl power... what a bunch of bull she is just a giant bully in real life. Don’t go through the trouble and don’t waste your money on this book!
