Excellent action and drama. Loved, loved, loved it. Start with book one it's worth it. Brings you updated on all characters and set up to next book, but very detailed and keeps your attention throughout. Highly recommend.

Most disappointing book of the series. I have been waiting for this book for almost two years and it's such a disappointment. Very small story progress with unending inner dialogue from Mac. And the dialogue is slow, repetitive and endlessly morose. Being stuck in the head of a character so depressed for almost the whole book is very unfulfilling. Definitely doesn't live up to the energy of any of her previous books.

Hail to the Queen of Fiction. I'm in awe! This book was heart pumping sit on the edge of your seat cause I ain't done action! Mac and Barron's better make room for Lor and Jo! I went through this book so fast I forgot the book would end. And when it did...I was still shocked at the ending. Can't wait til the next boom...I mean book!

Burned. I have absolutely loved all KMM books, except for this one. Nothing about this one stands out for me, and no surprises, it fact it was rather boring compared to all the other Fever books. The only big plot twist was Dani, and I didn't like that one. The rest of the story was rather predictable. Sorry KMM, you lost me with this one.

That's It?. After waiting forever for this book, I'm disappointed in the way it went. Where was Dani? I love Mac but it was definitely Dani's time to shine. Also, this is a filler book. I was bored every few chapters and had to make myself read it. I've never had to force myself to read a KMM book before. I hope the next one is not a Mac POV again.

Omg the best book ever. Omg this was the best book ever. Other than I am mad it's over and have to wait for the next one. This was a great book and a great read. I just love Jerico and Mac together and hope they get many many many more books. I am glad Dani finally grew up. I am liking who she is now and can't wait to see how things turn out. There towards the end Dani was getting a little annoying. I can't wait to see what happens with her and Ry. Also can't wait to see more of Lor. I love him. Awesome read.

Roc the Patch. Morning hit another home run with Burned. Read it every chance I got until I finished. Loved the new Dani/Jada character. I'm a sucker for strong powerful women. Can't wait for the next installment. Please hurry!!!

Least favorite of the series. As an ardent fan of the "Fever" series, I was literally counting down to this release. I have LOVED every book, but this one was far below the par set by her other books. Too many POVs, too many gaps and more questions raised than answered. Almost no resolution to anything. It read like "filler", something to placate her fans until the next one. I hope that she doesn't go the way of some of my other favorite series and start writing books whose main purpose are to get you to the next one. To Ms. Moning, you are better then this, your urban fantasy until this book have always been superb. Please bring back the style of old.

Can't believe how much I love the Fever World.. From the beginning, I let KMM take me on her journey into this new world of hers, and I am so happy I have her the reigns for the ride. The twists and turns, the characters, the stories the subplots .... I just love it all.

MAC is Back!!!!. If you love the fever series. You gotta love Mac. I'm so happy she is back. Even in a depressed sort of way. This book is fantastic, bring so many answers And moré questions to resolve. My only sorrow is that i finished it in a day. And is a looooong wait for The next realese. Imagine seeing a movie, hit pause at The most exiting scene And that somebody tells you: -Come Back in a year to see the rest. She always do it. I really dont know why it surprises me anymore. Anyway, enjoy a wild journey!!!

I CAN'T WAIT!!!. If you've never read a Karen Marie Moning book. You don't know what your missing. I would suggest starting with the Highlander series. I can't put any of her books down when I start one and I own everyone of them.

Burned. Too much POV devoted to Mac. I have read all of Moning's books and this is my least favorite. Too many characters and unresolved issues. I expected too see more of Dani. Mac is floundering. Seems to be undecided about developing a realistic villain. Two years is a long time to wait for this book. Expected better. Iced was great. Moning is better than this.

Amazing!. I was so sorry when I finished this book. I wanted it to go on and on and on. I was riveted to the end. Can't wait for the next book!

Burned by Karen Marie Moning. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! This book was so boring and unrewarding that I skipped much of it after getting about a third of the way in. I actually was so excited to read this latest book in KMM Fever series so I re read her whole series again from start to finish This story is shallow and confusing, with none of the incredible writing awarded the first 6 books. You really missed the mark with this book. The only subject that was interesting was Dani but not Jada. I WANT A COMPLETE REFUND $13.99

Burned. I, like many others have been anxiously awaiting this book. I even tried to pace myself so as to not read it too quickly (like savoring a good piece of chocolate). I would also have to agree with many others in that this book was somewhat frustrating, a lot of new plots starting and not much resolution to other plots. Towards the end it picked up some and I saw more of the writing that I love so much from KMM, but then it ended and I'm left thinking, "how long do I have to wait this time, aaargh!" Still a lot of unfinished business. I'm just going to have to trust in KMM in that she knows what she's doing, she hasn't let me down thus far. One less star though, just because I miss Dani, gotta love that girl!

My favorite series. This is my favorite series. I've read each book multiple times and I can't get enough. The story is amazing and you will get attached to the characters. Read them!

Burned! Best ever!. I have been reading this series from the start. I bought the complete series for my iPad last month. Burned is my favorite. I can't wait for the next book.

Fever's world is more than Dani or Mac. The reward of a 2 year wait has never been sweeter! When KMM decided to delve into "Urban Fantasy" I was seriously bummed. Why take a perfectly good romance writer and give her over to a subject that I had no real interest in reading. I has resisted- with prejudice- until Dream Fever. After checking her website repeatedly.... and finding no forthcoming romance novels on the horizon, I just about gave up until I read the comments from readers. It seemed that I was the only one who wasn't loving it, all because I refused to read it. I fell 100% in love with Barrons and V'Lane.... and I am so very happy that I "found" KMM's Fever series. With Burned, I felt that KMM has a ton to deliver with promises made on her FB page. I was upset that "Mac was back" and Dani would be M.I.A for any portion of the story. Being told she would age and all this would somehow happen directly after Iced. IMPOSSIBLE is what I thought. God, I was wrong. And lets not forget the headline: "And then there were ten." I thought I had it all figured out, and I was gonna hate it all. As many loyal reader, I know the rules of the world KMM created. After finishing Burned, I sat in stunned silence for about an hour. The amount of information KMM has given in this book is staggering. You will get a truck-load of answers that you never saw coming and an insight not only of the characters but the author herself. I have seen many posts on various sites bemoaning some issues with this book. (Many I felt as well.) 1) The time it took this get this story was a little over 2 years - for good reason- KMM father was dealing with cancer. FAMILY comes first. - You will see evidence of that in this book. 2) Mac is back in a BIG way- Dani is... well, not so much - Again: for a good reason.- There would not be a story if we had more of Dani's POV. The only way that we could know the secrets revealed in Burned is by being a fly on the wall. KMM pulls this off flawlessly. It is HOW she does it that suprising. 3) Dani is older now, and, Burned picks up right where Iced left off. - Remember it is Post Wall Dublin, there are no rules. We have been told time and time again by KMM's previous books that: Nothing is what it seems or works the way it is supposed to. - KMM again surprised me on how she was able to accomplish this. I think any reader will know that Silvers was the obvious way. When you find out where Dani went, I encourage you to re-read the time that Mac spent in that particular world..... You will understand why Dani is who she is today. Pure fecking genius, if you ask me! 4) And then there were ten:- OMG- the best part of it all!!! I found myself digging through older books saying all along: "It was so obvious." I do not know if it was KMM's intention to do this years ago, but, when it happened it seemed to me that she had been carefully sowing these seeds from the very beginning. -The VERY beginning. 5) Jo and Ryodan- I will admit that this was my biggest grievance from Iced that I had a hard time coming to grips with. I mean, Ryodan belongs to Dani.... right? I have believed that "Some things were worth waiting for." - so what was KMM thinking? - This is all sewn very nicely for a HUGE future feature that I cannot wait to see explored further. And last but not least. 6) As Dani said: "I could like Lor."- Get yourself inside of Lor's head.... it is a fantastic trip every time. With his POV, I found myself laughing out loud and finding out that he is probably the NICEST of all the Nine. But, I don't merely like him, I am loving him after Burned. In turn KMM fashion- cliff-hangers are a must, and you will be more questions that you get answers. That is both the beauty and the anguish of the Fever series. That is what keeps loyal readers coming back for more. We may never find out what the Nine (now Ten) are. (And I have attempted research to try) This book will make you question that all over again, EVEN after coming to terms with it in Shadow Fever. I can hear Barrons saying "None of you f'ing business."- every time. Like Mac, I can live with that. Happy Reading.

DISAPPOINTING BRIDGE TO NEXT BOOK. I've been a faithful KMM reader from the early highlander books, and can't get t enough Mac & Barrons, but this book failed to live up to the hype or the wait.
