Drawn by Lilliana Anderson Book Summary

***Content warning*** This is not your typical romance. This is an erotic thriller about an obsessive relationship between two people who struggle to maintain their control around each other. Its advised that readers be over 18 years of age before reading this novel due to sexual content and adult situations, including violence and abusive themes.

From the best-selling author of the Beautiful Series, comes Drawn, a powerful tale of a relationship that rides the edge of hate and love and everything in between. And a friendship, so strong and loving that it will wait through anything.

In the end, you as the reader will be asked to make a choice. Aaron, or Damien. Light, or dark. There are two endings to this story, and only YOU can decide.

Enter the world of Etta, in Drawn.

Have you ever felt so drawn to someone, that you will put up with anything to be with them? That’s how I feel when I’m around him.

Most of the time, I want to hate him. I want to stay as far away from him as possible. He’s so cocky, and arrogant. And he gets in the way and tells me what to do. He’s all things that I normally detest in a man. But, when we’re alone… I can’t even think for myself – the pull is that intense.

He's nothing like Aaron, a man who has been my closest friend for the last two years, and understood my struggles with an overbearing father who wouldn't let me out of his sight until I turned eighteen. A man who has waited for me...

But now I am eighteen, and a simple knock on a door will introduce me to a tortured soul named Damien, an artist, and a fighter, our ties run deeper than I could have imagined. This man will become my vice and knowing him will change my life forever.

I know I should run, I know I should stay away. But I can’t. I don’t know if I’m strong enough.

What do you do when you can’t stay away? Even when you know you should…

Very interesting!. This story it's not like a common love story, it's more like an obsession. I was happy when Etta got away. That was some messed relationship. The end definitely surprised me.

love is CRAZY. I don’t know how twisted you have to be to find this story romantic…it details a dysfunctional/abusive relationship!

Loved it!!. From the moment I started reading I couldn't stop. Nice story

Drawn. I can't wait to read the two versions/paths that the characters take. I'm in love with Damien and Aaron for totally different reasons. I was trying to figure out who she would chose. I love the idea of watching each path play out! May 30th won't get here fast enough. I have pre-ordered both books! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent!

Drawn 1. Readers will revel in the sexual tension between Etta and Damien ... Theirs is a story of obsession and erotica...where the lines are blurred between love and desire, need and possession. Damien's fear of losing Etta drives him to care for her every need... While leaving little room for Etta to breathe, let alone understand her own body's obsession and betrayel... Not continuing to read Drawn isn't an option... As Etta's and Damien's story become your own personal obsession.

A MUST READ!!!. I was little hesitant about reading this book after some of the reviews, but SOOO glad I read them! This series was so great! Loved the story line, loved the characters, loved the sequel. (I read Damien's story since that's who I felt she needed to end up with.) You won't be disappointed!

Incredible. This book has got to be the best I've ever read on eBooks! I couldn't put it down!

It's okay but come on. It was great at the beginning! But when then they started having sex too much and I got frustrated. Etta is so stupid, it's sad. How can she know he's not using protection and she's not either then trust him for not getting pregnant? Plus she's the typical Mary Sue main character. She's insecure but everything about her is perfect and her ''incredibly thick hair rarely gets messy'' Aaron was the only reason I went on with this book.

Love this book. I just couldnt put my phone down. Read this book in about 5 hours!!

No, Abuse is NOT Ok. Wow, I can't believe how accepting this author and her characters are to the abusive relationship... sure, it's ok, they're soooo in love. NO! It's not ok. I wanted Aaron or Jessica or Kensi to stand up for Etta. To tell her father or even the police what was going on! I especially can't believe Aaron did nothing to help her. Etta's father was controlling and protective, but he wasn't abusive, and he could have protected her from Damian. Also, when Etta finally did tell her mother what was going on, the mothers reaction was just that she is too naive and trusting... COME ON! Yes, I agree Etta was naive and had little real life experience but you cannot blame her for Damian's abusive behavior. I just had really bad vibes all throughout reading this book. I kept reading in hopes that Etta would finally stand up for herself or someone would stand up for her, but it never happened. It really made it seem like the situation between Etta and Damian was fine, nothing to worry about... which couldn't be farther from the truth. I will NEVER support this author again, and I will continue to stand up for women's rights, because it's the right thing to do! #yesallwomen

Yes!. Wow! This book is crazy amazing! I literally couldn't stop reading! The twist and turns is perfect and it keeps you wanting more! Can't wait to read the sequels!!

Obsessed. Couldn't put it down! Great Job! Confused didn't know if I was on team Aaron or team Damien....must read!

Knockoff 50 shades of grey...not impressed!. Don't even waste your time reading this trash! All of those reviews are deceiving Seriously this book is nothing but a knock off 50 shades of grey. 1.Controlling/possessive/jealous nature of Damien sounds a little too similar to Mr. Christian Grey's character to be just a coincidence 2. Damien has this secret erotic lifestyle he doesn't want others to find out about. Hmm...are my reading 50 shades? 3. Etta doesn't like people calling her by her full name, Henrietta just like Ana doesn't like people calling her Anastasia. Contrary to these women's desires, their men call them by their full names. 4. Etta has a mousy personality like Ana. She is inexperienced when it comes to relationships, irrational in her judgments, very naive. 5. Etta moves into an apartment but doesn't even live there because she spends all her time with Damien. Sounds a little top familiar to another storyline. 6. Etta doesn't think she is beautiful and is insecure with her looks. She begins to grow confidence in herself with Damien's coaxing and as she discovers her sexuality. Sounds like Ana. I can go on and on about the author's blatant plagiarism but I won't. I thought it was important to provide examples to support my claims though. Not to mention, the book has so many grammatical errors. I was literally cringing. And the writing is so dry. I was waiting for a methaphor or hyperbole or something to convince me that a writer actually wrote this story and not some high school girl with an over active imagination. Again this book is not what it's hyped up to be. Don't waste your time!

Romanticized abuse? No thank you.. I don't usually write reviews, not even for books I love, but this book made me uncomfortable. This should not be free for all to read. There was absolutely no forewarning about the manipulative, abusive nature of the relationship between Damien and Etta. While it was a good perspective of what an abusive relationship like this looks like, it was not marketed properly. It was romanticized and abusive relationships SHOULD NEVER be romanticized. Regardless if it was from the perspective of Etta, the topic wasn't handled well. The way the book was marketed and the way the the sequel(s) continues suggest that these manipulative behaviors from Damien were forgiven and that "true love prevails". News flash. He isolated her. He manipulated her. He abused her mentally, making her completely dependent on him. I won't be reading the sequels, since the reviews clearly show that the ADamien novel was clearly written better and the Aaron novel was still written in favor for Damien, who I will remind you , was the abuser. Please understand why this book is wrong. Dominating relationships can be exciting and thrilling, however, it's MUTUAL. Damien and Etta were never truly mutual. Please, don't think that this book is a good representation of a dominating relationship. Abuse is not part of that. This is not the kind of free erotic book that girls should be reading and gushing about. HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS ARE NOT LIKE THIS. This book has the kind of message that we SHOULDNT be teaching young women, who are the most likely audience for this novel given Etta's age and place in life. Don't look up to this book. Don't look for relationships that look at Etta and Damien, or Ana and Christian Grey. This 50 shades knock off is no better than the original, which also displayed a unhealthy dominant and manipulative relationship. Possiveness is NOT sexy. Mutual respect and care is.

Drawn. Loved it! It was so juicy

Abuse in its creepiest form. If you're looking for a good love story, keep looking- some of the sex scenes are hot, but the main love interest is incredibly controlling and abusive in a terribly unsexy way. Using sex to manipulate an 18 year old into doing what you want is really messed up, and the whole book left me feeling dirty.

Wow!. Omg I couldn't put it down, I finished it all in one sitting! The writing could use a bit of work but this book drew me in from the very beginning. I don't want to give too much about the book away, but as a therapist, I would definitely consider using this book with some clients (minus the sex scenes of course lol)

Awesome book. I love this book I like Damien but also Aaron such a good book 😊

Disturbing. I was expecting a comedic relationship with a hit of erotica and a happy ending. Instead, I read story about troubled/disturbed and unhealthy relationship between two young adults and erotica. Not my cup of tea.

Realistic. This book started as the typical love story, love at first sight. I found myself rooting for the new couple. But as soon as I recognized the signs of an abusive relationship, it had me on the edge until the very end. This book is a very realistic depiction of abusive relationships. It starts like a love story, then spirals out of control. Though it was hard to read at times, I enjoyed the fact that this book steered away from the typical happy ending and instead shed the light on a real issue, in a very realistic manner.

Wow....riveting. I couldn't put it down........very well written. Can't decide which book to read next! I'll just have to get them both.

Drawn. Don't waste your time reading this book unless you are into controlling and abusive relationships. I stopped reading once I saw the pattern of abuse but skipped to the end to see if the book turned around...it didn't. I see the author has written two different sequels for the ending. I don't know why anyone would choose Damien's book since he's psycho but it's an option. As for me, I won't read either. It is not worth the time or energy...awful storyline in my opinion.

Loved it!!!. I really enjoyed this book!!! It's one of my favorite reads just after Anne Bishops Dark Jewels series! The story really grabs you and the love seen's are not too over the top!

Was Not What I Was Expecting ...... When I started this book I thought it would be about love. Maybe even a love triangle, but it took a whole new turn indeed. It has some pretty ..... Actually... If you want to know how stalkers think. Then this book is really informative into that mind aspect but I can complain. It was a really good book when you focus on the love two people can have. I don't regret reading it and the sneak peak at the end of the big is a big shocker. Enjoy your reading. 😊

Started Good.... I thought it was going to be a love triangle type of thing...not even close. Damien started off nice but then turned. I ended up HATING the main characters. It was a mentally abusive relationship. I don't understand why she would write Aaron off...that really is what made me not like this story. The good guy didn't win the girl, no HEA :( and then you get to choose the ending...I thought it was sort of a cop out. Just a prefect example of an unhealthy relationship.

Lilliana Anderson's Drawn. I absolutely loved this story! I can't wait to read book two!

Wow. That's all I can say! Where is the next one I want it now!

Like it is. The dedication of this book couldn't have been more accurate. This book isn't a sweet and corny romance story. But it is a story of true passion, love and lust and very very real. Many women end up in similar situations! can't wait for her two endings!!

Hard to read. This story was hard for me to read as a young woman. This relationship was abusive and he isolated her from her friends and family. The worse part was that the story wasn't about how she got out of this abusive situation but more about how they had some sort of undeniable love that she couldn't leave alone and was meant to be. It was hard to finish. I felt like this is not a good read for young girls. Worse than the usual romance novel.

It's alright.. This book has potential. Intense and scary. Lillian did an okay job drawing her audience into this gripping book, but realisticly, there are too much description that need not be mentioned. The style of writing is very amatuer and ungripping until certain heights of the book. Certain grammar and spelling should be corrected as well.

A MUST READ. I have read this book in only one day! It kept me wanting more!

Drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Never knew live and lust could be such an addiction. Scary. Can't wait to read the other books.

INTENSE!. SPOILER ALERT! Excellent writing, I'll be taking interest in the author from now on. Some reviews make this novel out to be a bad thing for younger ladies to read... I think it is eye-opening it certainly has cringe-worthy moments filled with a new understanding of how borderline abusive/obsessive relationships can play out. I believe this would be a great cautionary tale for ladies just starting out in dating. Granted there are detailed sexual encounters, in this day and age young love can be very jaded yet also extremely naive. I'd want my teenage daughter to read this as I read mature subject matter at a young age. I would want her to know what warning signs to look for. As far as disturbing I saw movies more violent at an impressionable age. What's so disturbing is you don't see the other foot drop and take that final spiral out of control but it's on that razor's edge and the author builds it to a final decision without a crescendo of horrible violence. It shows that a woman can be violated in extreme ways with barely even the slightest hint of verbal abuse throughout the entirety. No laws broken. It's so scary because it can happen to anyone.

Read it!. I couldn't put this book down! It took me through so many different emotions. The book was intense. I'll just say that. I can't wait to read the next two. Only 6 more days of waiting!!

Drawn. What an intense book! Quite a read. Don't know if I'm going to continue the rest of the story.

Strange. This book involved a very controversial theme. She wanted to get out the grasp of her dad but went into the grasp of an almost stranger. Because she thought it was love when only ever dated two other people. It made her seem very wake and both of them were terrible characters.

Excellent Read!. I absolutely loved these books!!

Page Turner. There are a lot of mixed reviews about this book. I for one, find it more realistic than most of the romance novels out there. Love, obsession, pain, selfishness, anger, self pity, lust.. It's all of the emotions you go through as a teenager, and even though most of these people feel these scenarios are unrealistic, but I find it to fit in perfectly with this day in age. People view It as scary, but mental illnesses such as bi polar are very much real. Props to the author for writing such a captivating story that I quickly fell in love with.

Drawn. Sophomoric--probably meant for college-aged women. Editing needed. In one place, Etta's father is named Barry, & in another, he is named Greg. Also, there are at least three instances in which the author uses the word 'confidant' when she should have used 'confident.' Sorry I couldn't finish the story.

Amazing if your a sucker for a romantic novel. This book was pretty amazing the end left me wanting more though so now I have to buy the other book. There were a couple parts that still needed editing but understandable enough to correct yourself.

AMAZINGGGG. LOVEEEE THIS BOOK

Not a love story really. This is an interesting book. But beware this isn’t really a love story. It takes a dark turn before you know it.

Confused. I don’t understand why this story has to dragged out into five books. Except the author needs the money. The story could have been written in its entirety in the first one. He’s controlling, she’s naïve, they break up she moves on with the good guy. Really. I’m glad this was free because I will not buy the next one.

Good Read. So the book took a minute to take off, but got interesting after Etta turned 18. A lot of the reviews seem negative to toward Damien the main male character being obsessive, controlling and domestic but Etta was unstable and obsessive with him as well, she was not an innocent victim. The couple is young, the relationship was to intense with lust for both characters and they did not know how to slow down and control their emotions. Good read

Kept Me on Edge!. I just have to read the next one!

Loved it from beginning to end.. In all honesty, after I read Fifty Shades. I was looking for something different. I got this book and I didn't read it until last night, due to a busy schedule. All I can say is that this story is way more realistic than anything I've ever read. I loved every single moment of this story. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the ending.

So Amazing! 💖. I'm really not the reading type and I just decided to find something to read and the description of the book seemed interesting. Whenever I read a book it'll take me like 6 months to finish, but with this one it only took me 4 days. I couldn't stop reading it and it was so eye catching. It is currently my #1 favorite book.

Plain Abuse. I was enjoying the book in the beginning but once you get to the middle Damien is clearly psychotic. He isolates her from her friends and family, tracks her through her phone without her consent, and insists that his actions stem from his concern for her safety. These are all red flags for an abusive relationship and this book romanticizes it.

Drawn. Oh my goodness this book was good. It was exciting and breath taking it kept me wanting to find out more of the story!! I enjoyed it from beginning to end and I never was disappointed I love it!!!

Such a GREAT book!!!!!. I am so addicted! I've told all my friends about this book! It has it all, love, passion, romance, drama, and there's still more! I can't wait to start the next book!

A. G. E :). Great book, great story, looking forward to reading the next two .... Quite a few spelling errors !!!

Couldn't put it down. I literally couldn't put this book down once I started & had to finish it in one go . I've pre ordered the sequel or should I say 'sequel's as you have a choice of two & know who I'm rooting for ! dying to read it .

Rutap. I can only say wow. Quite unpredictable at first, although you have a feeling through out the book that their relationship is not going to work out. However I enjoyed every moment while reading this book. Although some spelling mistakes sometimes made it hard to understand what is going on. Overall amazing book and story plot. Not very impressed about two endings though for the second book. Seems vague and undecided

Wow. Totally gripping, I read it in a day! Couldn't put it down. Look forward to reading more

Amazing!. Couldn't put it down! Cannot wait to read more! :)

Brilliant. Wonderfully written and great characters, this book is definitely worth the read and I'm starting the next one now. It can get a little dark but it's also believable. Great thx

4.5 ⭐️. Really surprised by this book. I did like the storyline and it kept me on my toes to know what Damien is hiding!

Brilliant. Although you don't want to, you can understand the power of Damien and feel for Etta's long term friend Aaron. Couldn't put it down. Now can't decide which path to choose?

Eventually got into it. Great book when I eventually got into it. Can't wait to read the second ones.

Exciting. This is a great book. I like other reviewers couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the next one.

Drawn. Great story very captivating can't wait to read the next. I have just recently started reading again and struggled to find an author that caught my interest this is my second book in a week as I can't put my iPad down. Hope to buy all the others soon and looking forward to your next books

Drawn. Fantastic book, couldn't put it down and can't wait to read the next one.

Could be better. Terrible writing could be soo much better. Okay story line not that impressed.

Scary. Reading this book made me feel really uncomfortable. The first half of the book was cute and romantic, the second half was like a thriller book. I kept expecting the main character to end up killing his girlfriend in a fit of rage. Not going to read the second book as the first book really freaked me out.

Addictive.. That Damien character is a total psycho yet I couldn't bring myself to stop reading. A little slow at first but it really does build up and leaves you wanting more. Thoroughly entertaining all round.

Drawn. I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. It shows you how much you can be misled into thinking that your lust and love for someone could be everything you want until you realise you aren't allowed a free will.

Totally DRAWN in!. I couldn't put this one down! Looking forward to reading the next two. (Had hoped that Aaron turned into a bit of a stalker tho ;) definitely would haven chosen her to end with Damien. Yes, strong, sometimes too much alpha, but work out those kinks and he should have been the chosen one. Interested to see what happens next...

Drawn. Excellent read, exciting & suspenseful.

Mmmmm. Can't decide how to rate this book. It's under the category of romance but honestly I don't think it is. In a romance you want the main characters to be together in the end even after the damage of their lives. The main character Damien is not a character that you are cheering for. I didn't want them to end up together because he is borderline psychotic! I get the whole alpha man who is dominant but this guy is crazy. Seriously. I'm not sure what the author was going for but I think she went to far and made him someone you need to run and go into witness protection from. I want to read the next book though because the story was interesting enough I want to see how it ends up but I'm not a fan of Damien whatsoever. Don't read this if you want a great romance read with a sexy alpha male who makes you want to love the bad boy. This is not that book.

Drawn. Drawn had me stuck instantly. Read it in 2 days. I didnt want to put it down. Cant wait to read the next two books and see what happens with Etta, Aaron and Damien. I highly recommend "Drawn", if you have not read it please do, you wont be disappointed :)

Drawn. Damien is a nut job... Enjoyed it though

Didn't finish it.... Couldn't stand the character of Damien..

Phew!. Ok so a young girl feels suffocated by a controlling daddy only to fall into the arms of the biggest control freak you have ever imagined. She has a 'back up' normal guy hanging around waiting for her to come to her senses. Of course her daddy wants her back under his control too. Hmm watch out girls those protective lover boys come with very big strings attached. Read this in a day. Want to read the next one so it did hooked me in. There are some errors that should have been sorted but it didn't bother me too much. I liked the end and thought the story had more to tell.

Wow. Well this book is pretty much about a psychology abusive relationship.

Addictive. This is not your typical romance. Loved the innocence of Etta and the dominance of Damien. Can't wait for the next book to find out the secrets in Damien's past and the future for Etta. Bring on the next book! Totally hooked!

Drawn. While I enjoyed the book I couldn't help noticing the amount of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors I came across. Is the not an editor or prof reader that is suppose to check this first before it goes public?

Drawn. Story is a little 50 Shades and a little This Man...good story. Damien & Etta's relationship is so volatile. Looking fwd to reading the second installment.

Awesome!. I could not put this book down! I even propped it up so I could read while doing other stuff (that I probably should have being paying attention to; burnt supper, too much telly for the nippers.) I have to know what happened next! It's refreshing to see a woman press back against the controlling behaviour her lover tries to maintain...even though her need for him is clear. Even still, I feel as though I want Damien as badly as she does. I love a good story and this one delivers! Sometimes with a strong Alpha in a book, he consumes the pages and she is some sort of limpet, dragged along with him. But here, Etta has her own voice. Love that. But I still want her with Damien. I don't believe Aaron is strong enough for her. I like him too, but not for Etta. Then the ending. My heart and brain seized because I was so caught up in the story. (Its awesome when I book can pull me in, produce a suspension of reality to a degree where the characters seem real; that I feel the emotion right along with them.) I can't say more, won't be a spoiler, but I can't wait for the next book! Good on ya! You gave me a really great ride when read I your work, Thank You!

Drawn.... Well, I don't know where to begin... At first, I thought Damien was just controlling and with time in the book, it would die down.. It didn't.. And to be honest, that was a huge turn off. He's very manipulative. I didn't think Etta's character was strong at all. But then again, she was still a baby. I thought she was very irresponsible for someone who wanted her freedom that much. I mean EVERYONE knows to use protection even if the opposite sex says don't worry about it. It's a mentally and almost physically abusive relationship. And like someone else commented before me, I know it's hard for women in abusive relationships to just leave but this was ridiculous. I don't know if I'm going to purchase the next book... I think I'll wait for reviews before I spend any money... And it's not at all like 50 shades.. At all... I did like the mom though! And I also like the idea of choosing the ending, that's pretty cool! I only continued reading in the hopes that the ending would be different.. It wasn't..

Not good. The relationship between Etta and Damien is just plain abusive! There was nothing sexy about this book. I kept reading because I was really hoping he wasn't as bad as he seemed and that it was all a misunderstanding but that never happened. He really didn't have any redeeming qualities and I'm sorry but I didn't find Etta a strong character at all. I understand it's hard for women in abusive relationships to leave but why anyone would want them together is beyond me.

Emotional. This book is pretty powerful. I'm not sure if I would classify it as sexy, but it's a pretty good look into how abusive relationships can begin and escalate. I hope younger women don't read this and think that this is the way love should be. Love is not control. The editing also needs work. More than a few typos.
