Crescent Moons prophecy #3 pt 2. “She leaped off the tree, but she fell. Her wing didn’t work properly, she couldn’t fly. She crashed through the branches and hit the ground. That morning we brought her to the medical quarters, but they didn’t have enough supplies to help her. We’re usually very safe in our Rainforest. So it’s just up to me and Spi- err- Trust to challenge our mother for the throne, because our father won’t have any eggs for a little while after what happened to Sloth,” Luck finished. “So what brings you here? It’s odd to find a NightWing and a SandWing chatting in the Rainforest.” Stranded and Crescent exchanged a glance. “We uh… got lost,” Stranded admitted. “Oh. That’s a shame. Oh no!” Luck stepped behind them and looked at some rotten dead grass and what looked like droopy burnt leaves. “Must have been from my poison. Mother will kill me if she sees this…” The little RainWing frowned and her eyes started glowing, her mitch-match orange and yellow eyes switching into an extraordinarily bright white light. She carefully put her hands around the gray crumples and it grew into a beautiful flower bush. She let go and her eyes faded back tiredly into her normal orange and yellow. Stranded stared at her, mouth gaping open. Had she just healed a plant? Sorry it was so short! I just had to finish off the chapter. Flash the hybrid ✨

They don’t have a queen but have a sort of government and the tribe they were when they died they look like that tribe but angel wingified. Devil wings They are basically devil dragons but look like the tribe they died as (like angel wings) their horns become curled like goat horns and their sharp points like claws or wingtips become sharper. They can be black or red and stay as a devil wing for 20 years. They are watched over and guarded by angel wings who are highly trusted. Other tribes coming soon

Oc time!. Name: Poinsettia Tribe: Rainwings Age: 4 years old Appearance: Poinsettia has vibrant reddish-pinkish scales with pale yellow patterns. Her wings fade from pink to red and she has pale yellow eyes. She wears thin circular glasses and without them she can’t see that far. She wears a bright pink flower on her head that was given to her by her mother. Her horns are slightly curved and are a dark greyish-black, like her claws. She has a slim, elegant body. She wears a small pouch slung around her neck and chest area that contains stuff she needs. She has a large wingspan. Abilities: She has all the regular RainWing abilities. Personality. She is very calm and intelligent. She is also caring to those around her. She absolutely LOVES to read, and if you were around her a lot, you’d know she always has her snout in a scroll. She is observant and notices things faster than others. She is a good problem-solver and figures stuff out fast. She likes her alone time but also enjoys meeting new dragons. Tree gliding is one of the things she does in her spare time. She never met her father, her mother told her he was banished from the Rainwing a long time ago but Poinsettia is still curious. Her favorite spot is a clearing in the rainforest with beautiful poinsettia flowers, it is her happy place. Parents: Alstroemeria and unknown Backstory: 5 years ago, her mother Alstroemeria met a charming dragon. Alstroemeria’s parents did not want her around the dragon, so they secretly met up in a faraway clearing in the rainforest. The clearing was filled with Alstroemeria’s favorite flowers; poinsettias. They both fell in love with each other and planned to have eggs, a year later Alstroemeria had an egg that didn’t hatch yet. One day, the dragon told Alstroemeria he had to leave, Alstroemeria didn’t want him to go but he still left a day later. The day he left, she cried not knowing why he had to leave her. The dragon said it was for the safety of the egg, which confused her. In dismay, Alstroemeria sat in the poinsettia clearing, lying down near her egg. The tiny dragonet shook the egg, and tiny cracks appeared all over it. Soon enough the egg hatched. The adorable dragonet crawled around the rainforest floor and Alstroemeria picked it up. When Alstroemeria looked at her, there was a single poinsettia petal resting on her snout. She decided to name her Poinsettia, she reminded her of her father tremendously. She swore to give Poinsettia the best life possible, she carefully swept the petal off of the dragonet’s snout. She picked up a bright pink poinsettia and placed it on her head. That is how she got her flower. She didn’t want her to be raised by the village, she was too precious. She wanted to raise her herself, which is why she didn’t put her egg with all the others like RainWings normally do. Poinsettia and Alstroemeria’s bond was stronger than anything else. When Poinsettia turned 4, she took off for Jade Mountain Academy. She promised her mom she would come back to visit every summer, then she left. Amazing Twist compared to the 1st book. Looking back at the first book, Glory has really changed and become someone entirely different! I wish we could have gotten more insight on what was happening back in the rainforest because I think it would have been nice to see the two plans from both the Nightwings and the Rainwings.

Cardinal of the SkyWings Ok so… my OC! Backstory, Chapter Four: Ruby’s Guard “Bow!“ Hill hissed at Cardinal, who was studying the queen intently. Ruby narrowed her eyes back at the foreign SkyWing. “Oh, right,” she whispered back at Hill. Mountain, Hill, and Lightning knelt in front of Queen Ruby. “What brings you here with this strange SkyWing?” Queen Ruby asked. “Hey!” Cardinal protested. “I am not strange.” She got several looks as though she was insane. Ruby just smiled regally. “Fierce. What brings her to my palace?” This is Scarlet’s daughter? Cardinal smirked. “Your majesty,” Lightning interjected. “Cardinal here flew up to Hill as he was guarding, and attempted to manipulate him into letting her waltz into the palace.” You haven’t seen me manipulate. Bluejay has taught me well. “Mountain then confronted her and she almost tackled him.” “Almost!” He reminded them. Cardinal and Ruby rolled their eyes simultaneously. “Apparently she has raised herself and doesn’t know who her parents were, or are.” “I was raised until I was two, actually, by a SkyWing named Bluejay. Is he… do you know him?” She looked hopefully to Queen Ruby. “Bluejay?” Ruby said slowly, as if she was asking a question. “Bluejay?” She said again, more clearly. A guard stepped out from her post behind the queen. A red dragon with blue-tipped wings, the color of a Bluejay. “Cardinal?” By the way, there are supposed to be italics for Cardinal’s thoughts, but the reviews don’t support bold and italics and stuff, so… yeah. An actual review. I liked the plot of starflight being in the night kingdom, however I disliked how to me starflight didn’t seem to have any great character development. But the plot line more than makes up for it! Also…. If you are seriously considering leaving a review, please don’t just go OMG DRAGONS YAAAAA it is very annoying And makes it hard to read actual reviews.

An actual review. I gave it three stars because it’s extremely slow, there’s not a lot of action in it. the plot started to thicken closer to the end but it didn’t last long ,out of all the books in the series I like this book the least. Another thing is that when there was action sometimes it didn’t flow well like it just came out of nowhere and didn’t make that much sense to me. I will say though, ( spoiler alert 🚨) that at the end when star flight goes blind that’s what saved the book, that and there is a lot of useful information in here. Tui I think that this book was a minor setback to the series but at the end I felt so much excitement and emotion you made me thirsty for more. (Fan Fic Chapter!). This is a chapter from my Fan Fic, Dusk Stars. It’s chapter ten, near the middle. Quick background information: Dusk is a dragon with the power of mind control. No one knows this but herself, currently. Rush is a SeaWing who goes missing, then gets attacked at the beginning of the book. This is about them trying to solve the mystery of what happened. It’s pretty short and moves a little fast, but whatever:/ The next day, Dusk woke up late, which was a definite first for her. The rest of her clawmates had already left the cave. She yawned, stretched, and flew down into the mess hall, shaking the vaguely itchy sleepiness off her scales. She banked down to the food tables and took her usual assortment of fruit. She walked over to the table to join her winglet. “Hi,” Lavender said cheerfully. “You sure got up late.” “I know,” Dusk said, still yawning. “I almost never do that.” “Well, there’s a first time for everything, isn’t there?” Nightshade shook fruit juice off her talons. “What classes do we have today?” she asked, looking at Azure. Azure, who was looking at a little scroll, shrugged. “Nothing much. Art, history, herbs and healing, tribal relations, music, scavenger studies, library period, normal stuff. No free time.” she looked up at Dusk. “Oh! I forgot, though. This is your first day of classes, isn’t it?” “Yeah,” Dusk said, trying to shake the nervous feeling off her scales. “It is.” “They’re not that hard,” said Lavender, who seemed to know how Dusk was feeling. “For some dragons,” Nightshade grumbled. Izula blinked and slid lower in her seat. Just then, the gong rang, bouncing off the walls of the hall. “Why don’t we go visit Rush before class?” Lavender suggested. The rest of the winglet murmured agreement as they set off for the infirmary, joined by Stormswept, Iguana, Grime, and Rise. It was a really depressing sight. Rush was marred over with many deep cuts, and dried blood crusted his scales. His breathing was uneven. A pouch of tranquilizing needles was set next to him, as though they had been using them on the SeaWing. Everybody let out a small gasp as they walked in, horrified and sad. What in the world could have done this? Dusk wondered. As she thought, a soft gleam caught her eye. A small, gray scale caught her eye, lying near Rush’s tail. It kind of shifted colors when it caught the light, fading in and out of Dusk’s vision. She reached over and picked it up, turning it over in one claw. “Hey!” Iguana said. “What have you got?” Dusk shot an exasperated glance at him. Oh, shut up. she thought, then immediately felt bad. Iguana’s snout snapped shut, and Dusk’s eyes widened. Oops. She tried to erase the memory from his bank, but she couldn’t be sure if it worked. “It’s a scale,” she said, setting it down on the bedside table. “Maybe from what attacked Rush.” “It looks kind of invisible,” Stormswept said, tilting his head so that the sun caught it at different angles. “Maybe from a RainWing.” That’s the only explanation, Dusk thought, But all of the RainWings here are harmless. Kinkajou, Coconut, Siamang... I can’t see them hurting anyone. But what about Lavender? She wouldn’t do something like that! A nicer part of her brain said indignantly. You don’t know that. She could tell that Stormswept had the same thought, but was trying to firmly beat it back down. Iguana, on the other hand, was openly glaring at Lavender, whose claws had turned a fiery red-orange-green, like a mango. “What?” she snapped at Iguana. “You think I did this?” “The other RainWings at this school are all completely docile,” Iguana snarled. “You’re the only explanation!” “Oh, what a surprise!” Lavender sneered. “Maybe all dragons aren’t homicidal after all.” “Besides,” Dusk said, somewhat absentmindedly. “Lavender couldn’t have done it... she was with me the whole time, even before Rush went missing. If she had done it earlier, Rush would have lost too much blood from his wounds and be dead already.” Silence. “And how do you know that?” Iguana said, bristling again. Dusk sighed inwardly. “Maybe because you were the one who tried to kill him!” “Were you not listening?” Izula said suddenly. “Dusk was with at least one other dragon every second since she was at Jade Mountain! She couldn’t have done it either.” The rest of the winglet twisted to look at her again, and she flushed furiously, looking down at the ground, but it was the first strong emotion Dusk had seen from her. “And,” she said, trying to draw the attention away from Izula. She felt bad for her. “Um. I... don’t like hurting... other -dragons?” Nightshade tilted her head curiously at her, but Iguana rolled his eyes. “Oh, and we’re just supposed to believe that, are we?” “It was literally just proven that she couldn’t have done it,” Azure pointed out. “But she could do something in the future!” Iguana retorted. Dusk sighed, out loud this time. “You have some trust issues, friend.” “And this is all beside the point, isn’t it?” Nightshade said. “We have a scale right here. It either came from a RainWing or a hybrid. Bam.” she pointed at Iguana. “Suspect list erased.” Nightshade’s attempt to smooth things over only made Iguana narrow his eyes more. Dusk wasn’t sure if he could even still see. There was another silence, this time a prickly one. “We should get to class,” Lavender finally said. She turned around and paused at the entrance of the infirmary. “Get well soon, Rush.” Azure followed her, murmuring goodbye. Then Nightshade, then Iguana, then Stormswept, then Rise, then Grime, then Shattered and Izula. Dusk lingered in the infirmary. “I don’t know you very well,” she said to the green-blue SeaWing, his eyes closed. “Hardly at all, in fact. And I can’t say when, or how, but I will solve this mystery for you. I promise.” She turned tail and slid out of the room.

Story and review. It’s a really good book. AMBUSH yeah baby Story CHAPTER THREE PART ONE The day after the massacre at the school, the Queen called a meeting in the Royal courtyard. It was about the massacre from yesterday. While ScarSoarer was on his way to the courtyard, he thought he saw green scales everywhere, but it was just his mind playing tricks on him. When he got there though, he saw the same StealthWing from yesterday, claws rapped in rope, while she stared at it like her glare could cut the rope in seconds. “Fellow dragons,” the Queen boomed. “I have made you all come here for a reason.” She shifted her glare to the StealthWing, who was still glaring at her own claws as if they could snap the rope in half. “She killed 11 dragons yesterday before she was stopped by a dragon named ScarSoarer.” Then she shifted her eyes onto him. Every set of eyes there then turned to him, and then some started clapping. He then wanted to scrunch into a ball and roll away. “Therefore. She must be executed.” The Queen said as everyone started roaring. The Queen then burst fire out of her mouth and it engulfed the StealthWing. As she slowly died the crowd of dragons started roaring again. ‘Wait,’ ScarSoarer thought. ‘Aren’t StealthWings-‘ his thought abruptly cut of as she exploded out of the fire, throwing knives at everyone, including the Queen. The crowd of dragons all started screaming and flying out into the open sky. All that tried though were arched by the knives and fell down to the ground, dead. That also included the Queen, the King, and the whole Royal family, along with all the soldiers that flew up to protect them, the healers, who were trying to save the Queen, along with most of the crowd on the bloody floor of the courtyard, dead. As another knife flew toward him, he caught it in mid-air, flew up to the StealthWing, dodging all the knives that flew at him, and cut the StealthWings’ head off. The only dragons who survived both attacks was him, 14 strangers, and all his friends, who miraculously survived with cuts all over them. He rushed over to SlingShot who had a cut on her leg. “Are you okay?” He asked SlingShot, worried. “Are YOU okay?” She then responded. He then gave her a hug, silently crying, while she gave into it. “I am SO glad you’re okay.” He whispered. “But just in case, let’s see if any of the healers survived. They then made sure the rest of the other love dragons were okay. Thankfully, they were, so they all went back to their homes. “Now,” FlameScorcher said sarcastically. “I say that was a good meeting.” ScarSoarer attempted to slap FlameScorcher with his tail and missed. They got to the healers, but all of them were dead. They either went to the council, or died of an unknown sickness. Since of that, they went to Xing’s house to make sure she was there, and sure enough, she was. They then explained to her what happened at the meeting and when they were done, she was completely petrified. “So, let me get this straight.” Xing said. “A StealthWing massacred more than half the tribe, along with the whole royal family, all the healers, and all the loyal soldiers, before ScarSoarer killed her. Is that what happened?” “Yep.” ScarSoarer said as the other two nodded. “That’s exactly what happened.” “So know the StealthWings now where we live, so where do we go to hide from them?” Xing asked. “I heard there’s another continent with three other tribes, but I’m pretty sure that’s just a myth.” “That’s it!” ScarSoarer yells. “I remember seeing a dragon with yellow scales that glow! She wasn’t a dragon from one of the tribes, so there must be another continent! That’s where we’re going!” So they all packed their stuff that they needed, (not the stuff they wanted) to make the flight to the other continent. “I hope you’re right,” Xing said nervously. “Because if not, we’ll be flying for ever.” ScarSoarer took that in mind, but after a little bit, he said, “We have to take the risk. If we don’t, we’ll be wiped out by the StealthWings.” Then the tribe, (well, the rest of the tribe,) flew out into the ocean, hoping to make it to the other continent.

Greatest series ever. This series is the best ever because I didn’t have to read the first one and it made since for me. And I love all the characters and I love how each character has their one book , they are kinda long but it is worth the long reading I am on book 4 the dark secret I love it that you can put your dragon ideas in the reviews!

After more than 100,000 words.) So... I saw dragons rule 765 put my nickname in, and then I was just like “This is it.” So... sorry again, and hi!

Eh, could’ve been a little better.. Ok, I DO. NOT. hate this book, it just has some problems. The whole Mastermind being Starflight’s father was a little jarring, and the reoccurring love plot of Sunny and Starflight is a little cheesy. Although, I do think the ending is the perfect bridge to The Brightest Night. !Warning Major Spoilers Ahead! The prophecy being a well crafted made up lie was the perfect twist for the first 3 books. Without this twist at the end, Sunny wouldn’t have had the enormous character development that she has in The Brightest Night. For the Fatespeaker believing she can tell the future, ehhhhh…. Gets a little boring, and it just gets annoying throughout The Brightest Night. Also forgot to mention, the action in this book is very dry. I’d rate this book about somewhere between 3-4 stars.(Oh, but do read this book before the brightest night. A lot of plot issues will appear if you don’t.)

Milkdud cringed. “Now for the fight!” Mother yelled. Milkdud flew down following gecko. *** Milkdud panted standing above geckos dead body. Bonfire smiled. She dropped her head sadly. “Good-bye gecko…” she whispered. “Any words of victory Milkdud?” Mother yelled. A microphone landed in front of her. “Oh the misery. Everybody wants to be my enemy. Spare the sympathy. Everybody wants to be. My enemy.” She whispered. Murmurs rippled through the crowd. “The chosen one would speak those words! Kill her!”

Part 34. Riot was sniffing around the land specifically for Shadowings. Snapper was beside him. He enjoyed her company. She looked like a splitting image of Strike. He sighed. Alpha was on another planet destroying it wile their new alpha wasn’t of the tribe. The I-rexwing was alpha now. And Riot was her personal favorite. Suddenly he picked up on the sent. A small group of Shadowings got separated. About ten were lost in the woods. ‘Good.’ He thought. Reaperwings were good at hunting dragons in woods and mountain areas. They enjoyed having many places to hide. He clicked silently in the Reaperwing language that they were headed south. “Go and flank them towards us.” He ordered half of the pack. The nodded then ran off. “Hide. They will come. Stay in the general area.” Snapper hopped to the top of a tree. Riot crouched underneath bushes and a root. The pack waited patiently till Riot could hear them running towards them. He licked his lips. The second they got close enough the Reaperwings leapt out and surrounded them. The Reaperwings that were chasing them cut them off before they could run back. “Fight!” The largest Shadowing ordered. Grim jumped onto him digging his claws into his chest and underbelly. Blood stained his claws as the dragon underneath him gurgled out some blood. Before launching at Riot biting his neck. Riot hissed and stabbed his mantis like claws into his neck. The Shadowing lurched back. He spat some blood into the ground. Blood was running out of the edge of his mouth. Snapper suddenly grabbed his snout and smashed it into a tree. The Shadowing grabbed her and held her down. Scarlet drops falling from his snout onto her face. He opened his moon ready to kill her. ‘No!’ Riot thought. ‘I’m not loosing anyone else!’ He shot five paralyzing spikes at him. He yowled in pain as they stabbed into his side. Snapper immediately jumped up and fired some black fire at his face. Disintegrating him. Riot sighed in relief and jumped at a fleeing Shadowing. He bit his neck and dug his claws into his shoulder. The Shadowing screamed and another one threw him off the one he was biting. “Go run Dark!” He orders. “Find someone! Anyone!” Dark immediately ran off but he was almost immediately killed by Venom. A sleek pure black Reaperwing. “No!” He shouted. “Yes!” Riot said. “You’ll pay for that Reaperwing!” He hissed. Riot jumped at the dragon stabbing his tail into his side. But before he could inject venom into him the Shadowing grabbed his neck and dug his claws into his throat. Riot smiled as he saw the Shadowing jump back. “I-I” he twisted around confused. Suddenly he exploded and tiny cat sized Reaperwings were standing in his place. “Go. Run along little ones.” He said. They nodded and ran off. ‘Should I have told them where to go?’ He wondered. He shrugged and attacked a Shadowing that was tackling Snapper. He dug his claws into his eyes and bit a chunk out of his neck. “Is that all?” He asked. The Reaperwings nodded. “Did anyone die?” He asked. “Just Creeper.” Venom reports. “Alight. We head back to the I-rexwing. She will tell us what we do next.” Riot said. They all nodded. And Riot howls then runs off to their temporary alpha. Mist was hiding behind a tree trying to keep her breath quiet. She got separated which was weird. Lots of dragons and groups of dragons were getting separated. A Reaperwing was stalking around. But she didn’t look like she was hunting. She was pacing. “I know you are there. We have x-ray vision and heat vision and I can feel your heartbeat with my antenna.” Mist curled her tail. “I don’t have all day Twilightwing.” She snapped. Mist walked out and sat down snout to snow with a Reaperwing. “Hello there.” She said. (General Kenobi. Sorry I couldn’t resist!) Mist nodded. “What do you w-want?” She smiled. “I’m Venom. And I just hope that you would make a lovely meal for our new alpha.” She said. Mists heart sank as the I-rexwing appeared out of nowhere. And opened her mouth showing all her teeth. She closed her eyes right as it’s teeth sank in. And she was gone. Your next part should be in The dangerous gift! Bye!!!!

Good book, but…. So like I read this book and I liked it. But there is not much action and it is very confusing. Like with the dreamvisitors, I just…O.o! I am also against glory ruling the nightwings, and starflight being blind. I love how morrowseer dies at the end, and the twist was crazy! I had never hated morrowseer so much lol! Lying about the prophecy? HE IS A JERK! But other than that the book was good (like every other wings of Fire book)

LOVE It!. Tui, you do a GREAT job of writing these, and I’m VERY impressed! Quick mistake though: When I was reading the series for the eighth or so time I noticed this one mishap. When Starflight first picks up the dream visitor, his overstuffed brain chats that there was three on the whole continent and was created by an animus SANDWING. Here is the line: “He’d only ever read about these. There were supposedly three of them in the world, all lost- all created hundreds of years ago by a Sandwing animus dragon.” I get it though. When I wrote my book I didn’t know where it was going and then there was one little part that didn’t make sense, and it drove me crazy! When I sent it to the publisher I didn’t realize the mistake until it was too late and it was so embarrassing! So I get it but just wanted to let you know! But I’m a BIG FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤💕💖💗💓💞💘

Amazing book.. I love every part of this book it has the most darkest, craziest parts, and what a twist at the ending. But there is a mistake on the cover. On the cover, to the left of Starflight, the lower NightWing is missing a head. To figure this out, I screenshot the cover and looked at the top NightWings head, and at the lower one. Enjoy! 😋 P.S. This is an awesome book, but.... I love these book!! I’m obsessed!! I just finished this book (book 4) and I get plot twist and everything, but Starflight going blind is something I really didn’t like and I feel like Starflight is a very important character. I might be wrong the further I read into this series but I don’t know, I was really enjoying the battle and the plot build up until Starflight went blind.
