Great read for English history enthusiasts. Loved this book, way better than I was expecting! The title makes it sound stuffy but it’s worth the read. Also expanded my vocabulary quite a bit with this novel.

Amazing book to read!!. I've personally loved this book! It was really interesting on how the characters come to life in those days!! I've always enjoyed reading especially English Literature just like this book! I have seen the movie many times but I just wanted to experience the book and see how it goes from there!! Blue print of enemies to lovers. I see why everyone wants a Mr.Darcy 🥹 now I want me one too. Though, he was kinda rude in the beginning 😆 Elizabeth is funny, & her father! ADORBS. But in all honesty, this book made me feel dumb, the style of writing was so complex, I had a hard time with it. It took a really some time, and lots of rereading and dictionary to fully comprehend 😅😅 Time to go watch the movie again (2005 version)🩷

Complete Brilliance!!. Loved the humor, use of language and character sketch of each. It has been nearly 50 years since I’ve read it and it is even more valued now.

Austen’s P&P wraps you up in a world of romance, intelligence, pride, & impatience!. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. My teacher explained to us many times that this book is not a romance as we explored the deeper meaning of it. However, I focused on and most enjoyed the epic, prideful romances.

One of the all time best. I have read this book several times. I love it, as I do many of the classics, but this is one of the best. It never gets old. You will find yourself laughing all over again at Mr. and Mrs. Bennett, and bite your nails over the situation with Lydia. Does Bingley love Jane? And what will become of Darcy and Elizabeth. Ah it is all excitement and astonishment!

Shallow characters!!!. Mr. Darcy is written to be the man of every girl’s dreams right? I mean he is like the standard for what a man should be! WRONG! He is so shallow and not even a real man. I would hate to marry someone like him.
