Sexy Grumpy Surfer and Little Miss Sunshine. I was once told you could never go wrong when you pickup a Jill Shalvis book. I was like, I'll add her to my TBR list. Then I finally got a book and listen to it, and boy were they right. Seriously, you can't go wrong with a Jill book, because you will always find humor with a good story. By the end of the book you always feel good. Now we head back to Lucky Harbor for Jill's latest release It's In His Kiss. The first thing I think of when I hear this title is the song It's In His Kiss sung by Betty Everett. Sorry about that little detour. Anyway, we have Becca Thorpe who was escaping from her troubles and found herself in Lucky Harbor. By the way is far from New Orleans. At the beginning she wasn't sure if she was going to stay, and she was lucky to come across Sexy Grumpy Surfer (aka Sam Brody). Now Sam is a total grumpy alpha male, he walls up his emotions tighter than Fort Knox. Somehow Becca seems to worm herself into Sam. Anyway, Becca is adorable and "the kind of woman that loves down to her toes, with her entire heart and soul." Come on she would give the shirt off her own back if you asked her. Seriously, she's totally sweet, cute, and adorable. Honestly, she's puppy-like. I adore her attitude that she could do anything. No walls can keep Becca out. Sam and Olivia learn first hand on that account. As I said, Sam is a sexy grumpy surfer who keeps his emotions locked up tighter than Fort Knox. A lot has to do with his childhood, and learning that love was just an empty emotion. So, why deal with it when it wasn't worth the effort. Fortunately, he has some good friends that don't put up with his crap, much. I enjoyed this story, because both of them have family issues that they need to deal with. However, they kind of refuse to deal with until each of them meddles in the others life. There is so much I could say about the story. I enjoyed this story, because you have witty dialog between the characters. Especially, when Lucile enters the picture. That woman is a menace at times, and no one can stop her. Even though It's In His Kiss is a light fun read, you do get a little emotion. Overall, It's In His Kiss is a fun book, because you have broody Sam who is no match to Little Miss Sunshine Becca. It's In His Kiss by Jill Shalvis. This is a Great Book. Like All books Jill Shalvis writes, you will not be dissappointed! Her writing never fails. She writes Romance that is funny, smart, and consistently Great. Pick up this or any Shalvis book, and you will not be unhappy. 5 STARS!!!!!

I love this series!!. I love this series!!! One of the things I love the most about Jill Shalvis' books is that she builds the characters relationship through out the book and takes you on the ride with them. Sam Brody believes you show your love by your actions, but he does not believe in the words "Love you". Sam takes care of those he cares for by making sure that he and his business partners Tanner and Cole make the most of their Charter Company. Keeping them successful and financially sound and they in return will always have his back. Becca Thorpe has spent her life protecting her brother Jase with no one protecting her. From the first moment Sam sees Becca he feels the need to be close and protect her. Sam doesn't mix business with pleasure but Becca needs a job and Sam has one to offer. He has need to keep her close but can he keep his hands to himself?

Sexy and hot. Sam knows it all and oh boy. But some things it takes him a little time to figure out. I loved Becca and Sam's story and how they both overcome their crazy family past. I love the dynamic between Sam, Cole and Tanner and how the story sets up the trilogy while also giving a little sight into the past characters that we have grown to love in Luck Harbor. Must read!

It’s in his kiss. A truly skilled writer—reads like a story she must have lived. All the characters are brought to life in the best way. Laugh out loud funny in places. Highly recommend.

My Favorite New Lucky Harbor Trio. Jill Shalvis has done it again. And this time with sexy surfers. I think this may be my new favorite Lucky Harbor book. These three friends are definitely my favorite Lucky Harbor trio. Sam, Cole, and Tanner have it all. They are sexy, successful, and sarcastic, but it is there sense of family/brotherhood that really draws you in. When Becca Thorpe takes a break from her life, and more importantly, her family, she never expects to find a home, but that's exactly what she gets when she makes a stop in Lucky Harbor. After a failed attempt at waiting tables, Becca ends up taking a job running a Boat Charter and Rental business for her three yummy neighbors. She is quickly drawn to the strong and steady Sam, who plays his emotions extremely close to the vest. The chemistry between the two is out of control, but Sam's determination not to sleep with his new employee cranks that tension right up through the roof. Sam's past continues to pop back up in his life in the form of his unreliable father, but it quickly becomes obvious that Becca's past chases her just as relentlessly. Both have justifiable trust issues that may just be too big to overcome. Lucky Harbor will forever be my favorite fictional destination. I will never not take time to visit there.

It In His Kiss! And His Smile! And His Eyes! And.... Jill Shalvis has done it again!!! It’s In His Kiss is the story of Sam and Becca. I love Sam - he’s sexy and fun but also a deep soul. Becca is trying to find herself after spending so much time taking care of her brother and doing what her parents wanted/needed her to do. The spark between the two is evident from the first scene! It only grows from there but will they deny it? Or will the fan the flame? As usual, Ms. Shlavis has provded a story filled with laughter. There’s nothing better than a book that has me chuckling throughout. I follow Ms. Shalvis on social media and love her I Love Lucy stories, which makes it even more fun to see them in her stories (spider in the bathroom!). I’m trying very hard to catch up with all the Lucky Harbor series as I’ve only read about five of them - each one is better than the next. I wish I lived in Lucky Harbor!
