Loved it!. Great read! I love how authors don't have to make explicit work and still have a great product...things turned out for the worst after a series became so popular, but this is done right!

Very good!. I found the dynamic between Mia and Adam interesting. They are both strong individuals with stronger opinions about their actions regarding Mia's virginity auction. Their relationship is uncertain which creates the addiction to find out what happens at the end. A very good read.

At Any Price. Brenna paints her characters on paper like an artist does on a canvas. Also, for a virgin letting herself follow her natural instincts giving oral sexual pleasure, Brenna was most believable!!! I am looking forward to more of this extremely talented writer works!!!

At Any Price. Enjoyable read. I didn’t see why it had been continued. Pretty much all the rest romance novels. Good characters. It improved towards the end.

Twisty turny. Every time you think you know the direction, another twist happens. Enjoyed the storyline very much. Can stop here as a stand-alone or get the next two books.

At any price. I liked the book, but I would like to know where did she get the idea that Brazil is a country where its acceptable to exchange money for sex. It’s a crime as it is in the US, so I would suggest change that in the book is offensive for us brazilians.

Surprised and Hooked. It was a great story and well written. I figured for a free book, it would be a one-and-done read. I was surprised to find that both of the other books in this series are again about Mia and Adam. I was more surprised to find that I actually want to read more about them. I give this 👍👍

Irresistible. Loved this story. I looked forward to my reading time every night. I really connected to Mia and Adam and couldn’t wait to get to the great ending.

Stubborn can be a good thing?. I loved this book! Mia Strong was very stubborn and I can totally relate. This is a great read for the geeky gamer or someone who has never touched a computer. This book deals with “real life” flaws versus the flaws most romancy type book normally have. I couldn’t put it down…. My eyes got so tired reading this book that I had to squint or take off my glass and I am very blind. Such an awesome book and a great cast of characters!

This book>>. This is an amazing book. With the perfect mix of emotions that melt my heart and the those hot, steamy moments, I dove into this book! It's got a killer story line and I just love the joining of two broken souls coming together to find happiness. I can't wait to read the rest of the series and follow Mia and Adams connection.

At any Price. Book 1 is good at setting the stage, book 2 kind of whiny cliff hanger (author warns it is) and book 3 to get to ending, but wait here is book 4. Author should think about a set to improve reader reviews. Otherwise skip book 2 altogether.

Totally worth it. This was such a fun read. I've never read a book starring a gamer girl, which was what drew me in, but Emilia is a wonderfully strong and complex character. She and Adam's chemistry completely swept me off my feet. I loved every second and I can't wait for more!

Grandly Gorgeous. I cannot find a single fault in this book! It has a beautiful plot with wonderful characters in a very realistic environment. It was really nice to read it. It touches you enough that you feel their emotions and it's portrayed well enough that it makes you smile, laugh, and become sad. And you'd think it is long so it could be boring. But NO. Not a chance. The author has skills.~

A boring waste. Maybe it would’ve appealed more to me if I were a gamer but this seems like a long drawn out waste of words disguised as a book.

Easy Read. I enjoyed reading this book and may continue on to book 2. One note though - I was very disappointed that after telling us her mom had Melanoma, Mia later gives Adam a hard time about needing a tan to reduce his "geekiness". Melanoma kills one person every hour in the US and is the number one cancer killer for young women. I can't believe a girl who almost lost her beloved mom to Melanoma would say tell her boyfriend that he would look less geeky if he had a tan. Maybe in book 3 Adam, who started caring about tans so he wouldn't look like such a geek in front of Mia, will get diagnosed with Melanoma too...and die from it. Now there's a twist for you.

4 1/2 stars. This is the second of a multiple-book series about one couple. I loved the first one, and liked this one almost as much. The author is talented, and I like her characters. I will stop here, without continuing to read the other books. The story of this couple is longer than I am willing to hang with...

A great finder.. I stumbled across this series and I'm so glad I did. I love the fact that is wasn't just the typically romance book. I can't wait for the fourth book!

Better then expected. I got the first book as a free download, the cover is so cheesy (not my style at all)...but I figured what the heck. Pleasantly surprise! Well developed story nice amount of "hot" scenes. Note to author- I would class up the cover. You could engage a whole new audience...think subtler. Enjoy the read!

Dumb as heck. The idea was boring and stupid! The whole concept was not good, making the book longer than it needed to be. A lot of fluff and wasted mindless writing.

At Any Price. Wasn’t as good as I thought it be. Through the whole book Emilia is trying to break it off with Adam. Then there is the clique with the rich man and poor girl. At the end of the book you get the feeling their relationship is just getting ready to get started. I wouldn’t call it a huge cliffhanger but you get the feeling it’s a cliffhanger none the less.

One of my new favorite books!. This was such a great read!! The chemistry between the characters was great, and the story line kept me interested and excited for more!

At Any Price. Loved Adam, but Mia was just not very like able. Really don’t like that you read a book and then find there’s a Book 2.

Was hoping for more. I'm not really sure if I felt the romance all that much and the love scenes... "I'm going to watch your face when you ""take"" it in! That isn't romantic at all call it a co@k or penis or a cute fun name but... It And anyone that has ever been to Amsterdam would wonder why the author calls it vibrant and clean when it's actually quite filthy. One more detail that had me knowing the author didn't research this too well, British Airways, like most carriers do not sit their first class people upstairs on a 747. It's downstairs in the front and upstairs is whatever name that particular airline uses to refer to their business class section. The book was good but not really good. Too drawn out when you know what's going to happen anyway.

Possibly the next big thing?. I loved the book! IMO I didn't like how stubborn Mia was to not fall in love with Adam! I also thought the book ended too soon, give us something to tie us over until the second one! Ahh I'm dying! But I guess that's where the imagination comes to play (: Great book overall, can't wait to see what's next!

Long series. I realized why this was so familiar. I read it and then got rid of it after realizing I would have to purchase so many books to get the full story. I’m going to get rid of this again. I prefer standalone books.

Great Read. Great story & characters.

One of the better romance reads. This was quite a decent book, reasonably well-written with good characters, and thankfully very few errors. Unlike Mia, I did guess the twists in the story, but it didn't detract from what is basically a good light easy read.

Well deserved 4.5 stars. Came by this gem of a book purely by accident. Such an unusual story. Loved it. Mia is beautiful, strong and knows her own mind, but is in dire need of finances. Adam is the nerdy, hot, sexy multi millionaire who bids to pay for her virginity. No real surprises, but a lovely story, well written. Both have pasts, both have issues, both need each other. What was meant to be one night together becomes so much more.

Amazing Story. From the start, I was captured by this story and it was everything i thought it would be, ready for book 2, u have me hooked, line & sinker!!!! My favourite story read by far!

Hmmm. Ok, but it's all just a little bit 'off the mark' for me. The characters don't quite come off right, the story is just a little out of line from what she was aiming for. The ending sucked. Just a 'I'm done now, that para will probably cover it'. There's a bit to much whining and juvenile thoughts/processing (which to be fair the juvenile bit is actually part of the storyline) in there for my pref too.

Mr. Great read ... full of all the ingredients that go to make up a delightful well balanced and credible love story ... but not without some anxious moments. I do hope they find everlasting love together ... I don't think my heart could take anything else! I'm hooked ... good on ya Brenna Aubrey.

Lovely. For a free book this is such a sizzling good read. Adam is such a swoon for guy and Mia is such a confused and layered lady. Their banter was both amusing and crackling with electricity. It is so well written and I thought quite long for a freebie. Well worth the five stars and definitely worth a read if you want a good romance. Not sure if I have the energy to read the next one as this one kept me up all night!

Too immature. Just can’t get behind a pair of characters who, when it comes to basic communication, are as dumb as stumps. If they can’t even figure out how to stop making assumptions and just *ask* how can I possibly hope for them that their relationship will last? Or keep turning the page and buying other books. It’s a no.

A great read. I found this book to be really well written and I couldn’t put it down. I’m looking forward to reading other books in the series.

Hot and romantic. For some reason, I want expecting much from this book as I was let down by the fifty shades series. But I am surprised that I genuinely loved this book. The author built her characters well that made you attached to them and actually care for them. And their romance isn't just physical, it also has a good balance of chemistry and personality. It made my heart ache and throb in a good way. After finishing reading it, I am thirsty for more.

Gamer romance. Slow start to the story, although I didn’t read Girl Geek (book 0) so I don’t know if it would have made a difference. The gamer concept really appealed to me since I’ve been a gamer all my life. I like how there are no cliffhangers and the book can be read as a standalone, or you can choose to continue the series with the next few books. A little disappointed that the book is written purely from Mia’s point of view and nothing from Adam’s (except for the apple bonus chapter).

Good read. Enjoyed the story line. A little bit more humour would probably rate it higher.

Wow!. I really enjoyed this book!

Amazing, heartbreaking a Can. Not. Put. Down. Read…. again.. After reading At Any Price back in February I was holding by breath for this next book in the series. Mia and Adam’s love story continues told from Adam’s POV and just as emotionally exhausting as At Any Price, which I reread to have the story from the beginning fresh in my mind. Each keeping their secrets close and bottled up in their hearts you experience all of Adam’s emotions, from his happiness of being with Mia to his painful emptiness of being alone. As Adam and Mia struggle with their relationship things are also happening in the gaming world and business that causes even more stress in their lives. Brenna Aubrey writes these complex flawed characters that you love and would love to strangle at the same time. Once again am I left wanting more of their story so please write quickly. With a box of tissue at your side this is definitely a read than you will start and finish quickly. A love story that will stay with you for a long time.

Magnificent trilogy!. At Any Price Review This is a gem! A steal! I picked up this free book thinking to indulge in the guilty pleasure of another light-hearted fluffy romance. Oh, was I ever wrong! These characters are so intriguing and contradictory, so enticing and yet frustrating. Mia is a twenty two year old pre-med student, who is passionate about on-line gaming and writes a successful gaming blog under the handle of "Girl Geek". She's intelligent and immature at the same time, and principled yet misguided, insightful when she is blogging but completely clueless when it comes to relationships. I was so drawn into Mia and Adam's developing relationship that I couldn't put it down and read right through the first three books of Gaming the System in three days straight. This is one of the most cerebral romances I have read in awhile. Brenna Aubrey doesn't shy away from very heavy topics of women's rights over their own bodies, addiction, and life-threatening illness. Powerful and compelling! Thank you, Brenna, for an amazing reading experience. (P.S. The sex scenes were fantastic too! Mia and Adam have such chemistry, even through all they had to go through.)

Slow but good book. This was a good book. However, it took forever for their relationship to become intimate. In addition, I now see that there are at least 4 or maybe 5 books, making it a series. I find it annoying that it takes this many instalments for them to find their happy ever after. I will not continue to follow them even though I enjoyed Book 1.

Loved it. Loved this book! Mia made me want to slap some sense into her a lot of the times but she gets there in the end. Adam made me swoon😃 Great writing, lots of humor and great one liners. I have to say I knew I was in love with this book when she referenced Alexander Skarsgard, who is my ultimate ultimate perfect man😃

At any price. This book was awesome! I could not put it down. It was fun to watch the play out of a plan when you knew both characters had different intentions. It was funny, emotional, dramatic and intense.

Fifty Shades meets HM Ward. I REALLY enjoyed this book. Couldn't put it down to be honest. Plot is very similar to Fifty Shades but the characters are better developed and the writing is significantly better as well. Don't get me wrong, I loved Fifty but her writing sucked, lol This book has romance, steamy hot scenes, drama and all you could want in a romance book. Fully recommended.
