WOW!. i love this Book so much it’s probably one of my favorite books that I’ve ever read!! It’s very suspenseful and I like that every chapter ends in a cliffhanger, I thought it was a very good book.

In love!!!. This is my favorite book in the series and there is nothing better! As of right now I am so obsessed, it is all I think about all day every day. I even got my friend obsessed! So many of my favorite characters are introduced in this book and I love them so so much! (Especially Finnick) I will always love these books and I will always be a Peeta Stan! There is nothing else to it.

Favorite in the series. Definitely fave in the series #teamPeeta! I love him so much, him and Katniss are so cute. The arena is amped up so much this time, I mean the clock thing? Genius. Some people have said its a bit slow to start but I don’t think it is, maybe that’s just me, I love all books pretty much. That just goes to show this book is special. Love it so much. Definitely read this!

so amazing. “Yes, my holding out the berries had been the spark, but I had no way to control the fire.” usually the sequels aren’t this good… right? it’s a tough choice between this book and the first. the storytelling was phenomenal once again and honestly i don’t know what’s to come. i thought the twists and connections in this book were so clever and thought out! Best one out of the series. This one is my favorite one so far. The relationship between Katniss and Peeta feels so real. The first and third book were AMAZING but this one is smack dab in the middle of how the revolution started. were the hunger games were still going but the revolution is happening and growing. one more thing for the author. could you like write a book in peetas perspective or like there children or something? sorry just three books dosnt seem enough for this series

Amazing. This book was so well planned and thought out! I Believe that this is the one book I think is hood if you watch the movie first, because, you can know what scene you are in and then say to yourself ( ex: oh! It’s the fog scene! I better read! ) and it was a real page turner. This would have to be my favorite book ever written!

Excellent Sequel!. It’s an amazing book that is just as good if not better than the first. You meet so many amazing new characters including Finnick who is a personal favorite of mine. While the first book is absolutely amazing this one brings the series to a whole new level. It’s a must read and if you haven’t read the first one go check it out!

My opinion. Can I just tell you book 2 is my favorite book out of the whole trilogy series! Gale come on buddy now you make your move why now when Katniss was all “over” Peeta if you really loved Katniss why didn’t you volunteer for Peeta huh? I just hated how they had to re-live their nightmares again, I fell deeply in love with Peeta I could imagine the beach scene and pearl. She definitely knew she loved Peeta it wasn’t no acting she did love him Katniss didn’t want to lose Peeta she was gonna die for him *tears. Katniss pulls off her stunt in the arena and ends up in district 13! Love the book love love love it!! Great book XOXO

Haunting Trilogy. Ends with a reminder we should never forget.

Amazing book!. I absolutely loved it! I am not a big fan of violence but it makes sense and all fits together in this story. Props to the author!

just amazing... Suzanne Collins has a way with words. This book was by far my favorite of the trilogy. I’m usually not a big reader but this one kept me up at night. I never wanted to go to sleep..

Yo. It’s a little slow in the beginning, but once you get past that, it’s so good I couldn’t stop reading.

Amazing!. This book was outstandingly brilliant. Everything from the clock, to the wire to the whole arena, I loved it all. The only thing I would say is that is is a bit slow in the beginning, but once the book picks up, it’s awesome. Thank you Suzanna Collins for writing this book and please make another one and maybe even from Peeta’s point of veiw.😄

Hunger Games: Catching Fire. This is one of the best books I have ever read. From heart-stopping moments, to things you thought could never happen in this fantastic book. You don’t want to miss out on what happens next.

Meh. This book was fine. If you liked the first, you’ll probably like this one. My only thing with this is that it’s a little predictable. Why did you send Katniss and Peeta back in the arena? We already saw what it was like in the first to be in the arena, and it would have been really amazing to see what it’s like from a mentor’a perspective. I also feel like there is a forced romance between Katniss and Peeta. There was a lot more chemistry with her and Gale, so why are you making something that isn’t necessary? *Spoiler alert* I did feel like the destruction of district 12 was a good move, though. I also was glad that we were able to meet other victors. Overall, it was an ok book.

Catching fire was a well written and truly amazing tale about how viewed as star-crossed lovers were taken advantage of in the showing of 75th annual hunger games by being forced to go back in the arena, will there amazing love story last till the end? That’s anticipation you will have until the climax of the story. My next and most widely thought about topic was of coarse point of view. As you can see the story is told by katniss Everdeen, so in a way it is bias because we only see what she sees what she feels and what she thinks so we believe what she says and nobody else, this I thought was truly crucial to the story. Catching Fire - Susan Collins.. Well, I read the first one in one night and loved it, I already had bought the full set because I knew it was a very popular series and never actually read it. I had high expectations for this sequel and it really didn’t meet those expectations. I found Catching Fire to be very slow, I don’t really like the slow build up, to where the first book jumped right into the Hunger Games. I think the book got more and more better as things sped up, as the end neared I was a bit relieved to have the book over with. I probably would reread the first again but this book really isn’t it for me. I just wanted to get the series over with which was kinda sad since a lot of people liked this series. I think the Hunger Games is overhyped.

Reallly Gooood. I thought this book was really good and it is, but I would like to say that I don’t like how gale is left out. Personally, I like Gale more than peeta, I don’t know why I just do. AMAZING. This is an amazing series of books. And if you like the books you should watch the movies, they are also amazing. And very rarely do you get a great movie and an amazing book.

It was my favourite. By the way, this review is from an 11 year old, but that doesn’t mean you don’t listen to me, okay? So first let’s focus on the main...stuff. And by the way, spoiler alert! So the beginning parts were my favourite, very good, and I can’t get over the fact that Katniss kissed Gale. And I feel sorta bad for Peeta. But when they announced the Quarter Quell, I ran into my mom’s room and screamed, “MOM, I CAN’T BELIEVE IT, KATNISS IS GOING BACK INTO THE HUNGER GAMEEEEEEESSSSSS!” (My mom just said okay and went back to folding clothes) And I like every moment between Katniss and Gale. And now let’s focus on another character. Darius. So if you don’t know, Darius was a Peacekeeper who was in his twenties, and he often teased Katniss. When Gale got whipped by Thread (the new head Peacekeeper), after 20 lashes or so Darius told him to stop, and that it was enough. But Thread hit him on the head and he passed out. All I need to say for the next part is: Avox. Yes, he became an Avox. And if you finished Mockingjay, he died... ;( And now, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire did include a nice treat :] So warm milk, honey, and spices. It’s really good. Just substitute the honey and spices with caramel and you have the best treat ever! So basically, it was awesome (the book, not the milk).

Confusing. Still a good sequel to the first book. I still suggest reading the trilogy, but I found some parts confusing. Maybe it was the overall concept or the way Collins wrote it but some parts were hard to understand.

It's ok. I found the movie WAY easier to understand than the book
