Breathtaking and Amazing. all I can say is read it! pure perfection

Just Great. What a great way to fall in love with a big rough dangerous man. Who turns out to be dangerous for the right team. Loved it but I could do with a lot more love making scenes.

Potboiler, waste of time. The characters are so predictable, the sex scenes groan “seriously?!” The plot was ludicrous- the dark, mysterious stranger with a “dark and mysterious secret” that makes a joke out of the reader who actually finishes this book.

Huh?. Don’t understand the rave reviews for this at all. The characters are so incredibly flat, the dialogue is over simplified and the plot is transparent. Really regret this purchase to be honest!

1000/10. Every time the pace of the book started to slow, another plot twist was right around the corner. I couldn’t read the last few chapters quick enough! The build up & anticipation of the end was unlike any book I’ve ever read. My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest! This is the first book I’ve read by Sandra Brown but it definitely won’t be the last!!

Amazing read. I stayed up all night to read this, finished the next day. It is a page turner. Very well written, perfect amount of mystery, suspense and romance! Kept me guessing til the end ! Definitely recommend reading this!

Great Book. I started to read this at 11am one night and then looked down and I was on page 300 and it was 1am. If I didn't have to work the next day I would have finished it that night. Awesome book, highly recommended and I will be telling all my friends/family to read this book. Time to look at other titles from Sandra Brown. If her other books are like this I will be losing a lot of sleep!

Don't read this unless you don't like sleep!. What a great read. I couldn't put it down and lost a lot of sleep! Suspenseful, well written and truly captivating. I'm looking forward to the next one...I'd love to see more from these same characters. This would make a great movie.

Another Liam Neeson?. This is the first book I’ve read by Sandra Brown. I loved it and will definitely be getting her others. The suspense was almost unbearable. My only beef is that half way through I felt like it kept repeating the same old lines as to questions of what happened in Virginia and who was the mystery man in the cabin that had Emory. I almost got to the point I didn’t care . It almost ruined the story. I was really interested about the book because it’s set in Nantahala, a place that’s about 20 minutes from me. I hate how people sometimes make it look like people from Nantahala are ignorant or even incestuous. There always has to be mention of a hunting dog. But Sandra Brown didn’t make it too bad. It’s so beat in the ground about the mention of Eric Roudolph here. I live in the town he is from and my hubby was a cop at the police department who caught him. But this book worked it in perfectly, even without mentioning his name. But I do want to point out, and I’m sure that’s where the author got her idea of making people from Nantahala ignorant and having coon dogs, it was the media that created this image. The newsmen told the people to get in their pickup trucks with guns and dogs. Of course, there are people who have hunting dogs and stuff, they are also working men. Not at all like they’re portrayed. But when the news crews came to Nantahala and Murphy, NC when Eric Roudolph was caught, they did get a guy who lived in town and is also a little off due to his parents being related, and they filmed him along with the picture they wanted to paint. Anyway, I’m getting away from the book. I have to say, this was one of the most suspenseful books I’ve read. The price is a little high and I’m not so sure about how the bad guy’s story lines up with the way it was told along the way. I was so flabbergasted at the end that I really need to read it again to get it in my head. I sort of suspected the culprit but not in the way it happened. Not the part I’m thinking. Oh shoot, I can’t say what I want because that would spoil it. Read it, you won’t regret it. And if you like audiobooks, you would love this narrator. I am so amazed at his talent.

New level. I have read most of Sandra Brown's books and this book is by far the best that she has written. It raises the bar for other writers. The book has more curves than a dirt pig trail in the mountains. There is a suspense from beginning to End. A great read.

Astonishing, amazing, perfect. I’ve never read a book in my life that left me feeling like I did after this one. The endless amount of twists and turns kept making me grab for more pages. This book was well composed; so much so that I’m not sure I’ll be able to read another book anytime soon because it won’t measure up to this!

Enjoyable and interesting!. I read this book on vacation and it kept my interest. However, it always amazes me how people with such desirable and admirable characteristics are attracted to those with such unattractive ones. This amazes me in real life too! I think it was a bit far-fetched about the lengths one character went through to keep his privacy, but I played along. The message: be careful who you trust and go with your instincts. Let's hope justice prevails more than half of the time.

Twister!. Really enjoy the plot twists

Too much harlequin romance - soft porn.. I was looking for something more Jack reacher like. This has elements of Jack but way to much soft porn for me. It's really action romance. Writing is great. Focus is sex.

Easy Read. This book is an easy read, one you take to the airport or read in a doctors office. Its not however a book that you cannot put down. For me I was not wowed by the writing nor was I impressed by her lack of making the characters more interesting. Just not worth the amount of money paid for the book.
