😔. Just got done reading the book, and some parts were fun and adventurous but the others were confusing. I don't know why I found it confusing, maybe because some parts were boring. Sorry.

Rating 0-10: 10000000000000000000000000. This book was one of the best books I've ever read, but there is a lot of words that you can't really pronounce. I thought of my own ways to pronounce things, like the canta magus. Can ta ma gos. I really hated Astrid, and how she just left the people because she was confused. It's like every chapter ends in a cliffhanger which I love! I can't wait to read the second book because of the cliffhanger at the end of the book. Overall, the writing was outstanding, the plot was amazing, and the plot was terrific!

Omg best book ever. This is one of my favorite books and I've all four and they are the best so if u like the first one you'll definitely love the others 3 books. My favorite characters were Serfana,Mahdi,Becka Neela,and Yazeed. The book was soooooo magical and I thought Astrid was a little rude. But over all it was the best book I ever along with the other 3 books. ( there called Rogue Wave,Dark Tide,and Sea Spell.) Best books I ever read Thank you Jennifer Donnelley for the best books

Pretty Good!👌🏻. I will say it was a little confusing at first. But as you get further into the book, you really get hooked. And when you finish it and you think... "That was the BEST book ever!" Just wait for the next one. I really love the series. I am currently on the 4th book and think the same.

CANT STOP READING (ages 11+). ok so I only have read the first book. But I know that it was an amazing book I literally don't like reading really and I can never find books I like and I like fantasy. I literally read about 9-10 chapters of this book every night. I love this series although I do not recommend it for smaller children. Maybe ages 11+. Depends on how mature you are.

Adore this book. This book's targeted age was early teens however I'm a 22 year old and I'm a self proclaimed "mermaid" even if I don't have a tail most of the time. I've been waiting to read this since I bought the copy years ago. I'm now reading it and I adore this book as it is helping me understand what it could be like being a mermaid in the 42nd century near Venice. It's a wonderful book about the awkward years between being a pre-teen to reaching your young adult years. It's about finding yourself and becoming a confident and strong person who is able to overcome the "evils" of the world. It teaches us about not being afraid of taking that leap. This book is something I feel every teenage girl needs to read because of what it shows to be a girl with girl power. 😄💪🏼👭 (the two girls holding hands represents being united through sisterhood)

Deep Blue. So I read this book after I read Seaspell. This was really awesome and it explains a lot about how they were chosen by the river witches. It disliked the ending but overall it was...😍🥰🤯

The most beautiful book I have ever read. The friendship between the girls is beautiful and reminds me of my friendship

Really good.. At first I was slightly lost but Donnelly slowly explains it and then it’s revealed that this book is just amazing. I love the whole series, and the unique experiences of each of the girls. Serafina and Mahadi are a very cute couple, and overall I wish I could give this series ten stars.

I think anyone should read this book and it should be more popular. The story was simply beautiful and I just wanted to read more.
