OMG. This was a wonderful emotional book. I laughed, cried , just couldn't put it down till I was finished I definitely recommend reading

Nice but...... Nice storyline but the swear words were too much.... It was really unnecessary.

Wow. Just...wow. This is the first review I've EVER written on ibooks. And that's because this book absolutely deserves it. This story was beautifully told, so much so I read it in less than a day. Is it a little cheesy? Sure, but in the way that makes you love love again and fall in love with the characters, their story, and their morning. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read. You'll laugh some, cry some, and finish the book with a huge smile on face. Oops, sorry this review is so long. It was just THAT good.

Raw Emotion. I'm one of those people who never show any emotion beside happiness and anger, but this book gave me so many emotions. I would read and laugh with the characters, cry with them, love with them and everything in between this book was great.

Awesome. I usually don't write reviews but this story was too wonderful and deserves a great deal of praise . The author made me laugh, cry, and feel the depth of emotions the characters felt. Well written . There are a few typos but I still would recommend to read.

Disappointing Dialogue. While the story line was good, I'm so fed up with writers and authors feeling like they have to use the f word (and other language) in every conversation to make it a "sexy story"... It doesn't add anything to the book. Wouldn't recommend.

Must read!!!. I love how this book is written. You get sucked in immediately. So sweet yet sexy. Making you laugh and cry. I loved it!!! Looking forward to reading the next.

Really sweet read. Clare is a young widow, raising her four year old daughter Maddie, after she lost her husband to cancer three years prior. After an accident, Clare meets Logan when he comes to treat Maddie in the emergency room. Although they feel an instant connection, neither of them pursue it further. Logan is infamous because of his family connections and a public divorce and feels like he is incapable of feeling love, so he drowns himself in partying and one night stands. After another chance meeting, they both decide they owe it to themselves and each other to see where this leads. This is a really sweet read. After reading other books that cover this subject matter, I couldn’t have been more pleased with how the author tackles this novel. While Clare isn’t sure and is a little gun shy about starting something new, she doesn’t fight the feelings she has for Logan. Logan knows Clare is something special from the get go. This isn’t an angsty read full of doubts and fighting the inevitable. Logan and Clare both care deeply for each other and never hide that or take each other for granted, which is what I was expecting from the blurb. In fact, I found myself smiling throughout the entire book. Logan and Clare were both just so lovely and they both knew how to be there for each and be what the other needed in the moment and long term. Highly recommend! I will definitely be coming back to this author for more.

Amazing Stand-Alone. This was an amazing book. Granted, there were a few typos and miss used words, but the storyline alone was impeccable. Clare and Logan's story is one that I don't plan on deleting from my library. If you want a story to tug at your heartstrings and make you feel connected to each character, then "When You're Ready" is perfect for you!

Loved. Such a fun book to read! I loved everything about it. Definitely plan on reading the second. A few grammar mistakes but nothing to mark off for. Great characters and entertaining story line. Would recommend.

Could have been five star. This book could easily have been a five star read. The f bombs are TOTALLY unnecessary! I loved the characters, the storyline, everything except the unnecessary swearing

The F-bomb was over-used. While I really enjoyed the story, the cussing often seemed out of character and unnecessary.

..wow... Just finished this book and having lost my mom to cancer, it brought back a lot of emotions but such a beautiful story. Perfect build up and just... Wow. So many levels of wow. To the author: thank you so much for writing such an amazing story. It opened my eyes more than anything else I've ever encountered since losing my mother. Thank you thank you thank you. You are amazing. Just found my new favorite author :)

BEST book in a very long time. Downloaded this book from iBooks on a whim. From page 1 to the very last, I could not put it down. Funny or sad, each page draws you further and further in. Thank you for a Sunday full of Logan and Clare. So many parallels, so many things that only someone who has loved, lost, and shut down can understand. I laughed, I cried, I smiled and I hurt but I never wanted to put it down. I've had my own Ethan, found my Logan, and always had my gutter minded no filter Leah. Even had my Logan proposed in a hospital bed. Thank you for a reminder that life does imitate art!

Love is real. This book wasn't what I expected, but somehow I had a feeling the ending would have a twist. A beautiful twist. Loved this. If you love romance you'll one it too!!

Great book. One of those books that I wanted to reread as soon as I finished it. I laughed, cried, and simply loved the entire thing.

When your ready. Besides the fact that she has the daughter.. Does anyone realize the similarities in scene to 50 shades of grey?

LOVED IT. When You’re Ready by J.L. Berg I was really floored by how much I loved this book. I was not expecting it to grab me so much and pull me into this story. I loved Clare and Maddie who is just adorable then bring in Logan who was so in need of them both. Clare and Maddie are doing fine by themselves after the death of Ethan, Clara’s husband and Maddie’s father who three years earlier. After a fall in her bedroom Clare has to take 4 year old Maddie to the emergency room where she meets Logan where he is the ER Dr. Logan immediately falls for little Maddie along with her mother Clare and the romance that follows is just melted my heart. Logan needed someone to love him and Clare and Maddie do that for him enabling him to be able to love back. The end of the story will grab you and make you go No please No but in the end I loved it. I will be looking for more books from this author in the future as this one was so awesome. Be sure to read the last few chapters with tissues on hand. “He gave me the push I needed when I was scared to take a risk. But with love, the risk is always worth it.”

DNF. I had to DNF at page 70, because the author kept switching (unintentionally) between first person present and first person past tense. There were many editing mistakes, too, all of which distract me from getting lost in a story.

Truly beautiful. This was my first j.l. Berg novel and I was pleasantly surprised by her character development and how quickly I was cheering for Clare and Maddie to have their HEA with Logan. I loved the puke-covered intro because let's face it, a mom's life is tough. I loved the plot line with Ethan, even though it was brutal. The interlacing of characters was well done and memorable. A great reality escape.truly beautiful

Lovely Story. I really enjoyed reading this story and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Ms. Berg is a wonderful story teller. Due to the story line this could have been riddled with cliches but it was not. The only issue I had was the poor editing. There were quite a few mistakes.
